  1. Dwarf Form for khelds works like that too. get held while human, you can still click to dwarf and you are now protected.
  2. Oh and i'll note. when using, Lightning Rod, that brief teleport must count as you not being on the ground because many times I get knocked down after I fire that power. The Steadfast would probably negate that effect but personally I've never had it been an issue
  3. Yes the end drain resistance is awesome. my elec/elec tanker is about the only tank I have that shrugs off those (in my opinion) way over powered Freak Super Stunners, or whatever the new unit is called. Gahh! My WP/FM tanker with stamina and quick recovery 3 slotted was drained by one of those things >.<
  4. My wife and I are quite happy to be afflicted with altitus, and thus, having a tanker on every server was not a problem For tanker tuesdays, there is no level requirement, just be a tank, we'll get you in on a team, even as a level 1
  5. TT Protector, lots of fun. Ran the all tanker ITF, those are a LOT of fun. Clear all in about an hour. they were completely pummeled. As always, lots of fun. Looking forward to the next one
  6. Yep, love stretchin out my fire/fire tanker on protector!

    Rofl, thats dedication

honestly, i've yet to use them, but knowing that they are there is cool
  8. I Concur, work wonderfully on my GTX460, and the wifes GTX260 running windows x64 and xp sp3 respectively
  9. Loved the Lambda run. I have maria jenkins arc awaiting a TTJ that needs it, but trials are on the top of my To-Do list

    Bad news

So sorry for your loss LSK
  11. blah, missed the TTJ, hopefully i'll hit the others
  12. Also.. Protector? Woo! hope I can make it. my fire/fire/pyre/spiritual/reactive/barrier/pyro tanker needs more incarnate goodies ,though I don't manage to get over there much
  13. A BAF for Justice huh. Well if you have a tanker that isn't quite 50 yet, hit me up on TankHQ, if im around I'll see what I can do! would love another trial on me inv/ss

    Same goes for champion!

    Happy Tankin

My wife might actually start creating in AE with that idea
  15. Uh oh, im sorry but I can see this being totally politically motivated >.< you watch, the movie will be sponored by Al Gore

on another note, I also agree with bringing in a version of Static Shock
  16. Well I guess CoH got its own super hero pony a few years ago. *does quick image search* it looks like thats exactly what it is, (super hero not coh related) but here's a link.

hope the link works, my server is currently unavailable

My wife got it a couple years back, I didn't know where it came from but it definitely reminded me of CoH when i saw it

    I enjoyed that!

yep, i gotta say, I quite liked it myself, despite my connection playing games with me. The antimatter fight was a lot of fun.

I personally dont mind more trials. sure you run them till you are tired of them, as you say, but at least a nother trial gives a little more flavour
  18. I did get a crash playing on a Keyes trial today actually, and thats a first in like... a year? the game is very reliable to me , anyway, I put it down to my network card (i have moved and am on a 2nd hand wireless lan card! horrid i know), because I also dc'ed once while on the trial.

However, both times, I loaded back in , hit the re-join button and both times it worked. So im not willing to spill any DOOOM about it yet
  19. I just hate the waiting, sure some I can get in on straight away, others.. takes 3 times longer to form one than to do it. I will usually tab out and play something else while im waiting >.<
  20. In fact, here you go

almost reminds me of Monsters Incorporated. we scare, because we care!

  21. There was one in Kings Row this morning right as you get off the train, something about zombies

Hands-down, the easiest and most fun TF's I've ever done were on Tanker Tuesdays.

If two tanks are too many, WTF is going on with EIGHT?

People who say that sort of thing are idiots.
Rofl yes. i quite enjoy my all tanker task forces on tanker tuesdays

    sometimes it too easy

with incarnate goodies, its even easier O.O!!

    Tablet Support?

A good netbook would be the more real option. I have played CoH on a atom dual core with an nVidia gfx chip , running windows 7 and had 2 Gb of ram on it (and this was about a year ago) and with the graphics at about medium and running the netbooks native resolution 1280x800 i think, don't quote me on that, the game gave me a netgraph of 18 fps. This is better than my current (though older) laptop.

My current cheapy netbook plays CoH for hours on minimum details, without the heating and the crashing (seriously, there was something iffy with that unit). The netbook has been rock solid

Personally I can't see playing CoH on a purely touch screen interface, just playing on the laptop is blerk using a touchpad (go wireless usb mouse!!) . I'd want a keyboard, and a mouse function (true though the touchpad can help with that i've used touch screens for years and loved it, love me PDA's). To me, if I was going to get some sort of wireless keyboard for a tablet i'd just go note/net book anyway.

Give it a few more years. heck I'd be willing to bet CoH already runs natively on the few early windows 7 pads that have been released.

The other option is VPN, some clients will work for games. I have run CoH through my pocket PC, but again, the purely touch screen interface just doesn't go with me. One thing the pocket pc had that was useful was the center 5 way button and 4 application buttons. these were amazingly useful.

My opinion with this though is the same, we'll be waiting a couple years and the technology will be available to pull a device out of our pockets and play CoH with ease.

Heck the one thing I haven't even touched on is the OQO which has run World of Warcraft, but I've never seen these things in person. would they fit in a pocket and how well (if at all) would it run CoH ?
  24. I gotta give Plant/Storm its props for being fun, and powerful, and probably my favourite character i've created.
  25. Personally, i'd like to see shards completely done away with, when the next issue hits. all incarnate stuffs from alpha to omega can rely off threads, just finish the incarnate arc for your alpha slot? Im sure it doesn't help resources to list hundreds of items per enemy that have a chance to drop. It should be tidied up.

I have heard that Astral Merits can be used for future goodies, including costume pieces, though I'd rather not see that happen. as for Empyrum Merits, save them for that Very Rare. I know the reward system is messed up at the moment. I have characters that'll collect enough Empyrium's to craft multiple VR's (though I dont have the 400 mil to craft) before they ever actually get the VR via the table.
