Least Favorite: Scrapyarders. Particularly those blankety-blank-blank demolitionists. Honestly I spent way too much time in Sharkhead being blown across the streets and dying in fiery, painful ways.
Most Favorite: Hm, I think it's Arachnos. No matter what level they're at, it's just fun to jump into the middle of them and leave a pile of shattered bodies behind. -

Either Mercy or Cap au Diable. both are hot AE zones....
...and very noisy. -

If you upgraded your video card recently, turning up your settings makes all kinds of 'new' stuff show up.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope. Sorry your goatness but its the same vid card and same sound card as always. These are new changes. -
I don't think I saw this one earlier in the thread but I noticed that doors make a new opening sound now and splashing into water has a different sound as well.
These kind of nifties are what keeps the game interesting. More than once I've been playing and had to ask myself "Has it always done that?" -
Well, the best answer is... sort of all of the above.
They can Control and Blast well and, with a bit of thought, they can hold their own in a close fight. They can be a team's unfair advantage in almost any situation. They provide good support for the Melee types but are capable of doing the job themselves if need be.
As you might have noticed, it's a favorite AT. -
Doc Vendetta - Anti Villain, Genre Savvy
with a touch of Broken Birdand Zen Survivor
Whispering Swan- Rage Against The Heavens and honestly thats all that needs saying about that one.
Finally, Quiet Vindication (Doc's younger HERO sister)- Love Redeems and And Your Little Dog Too (usually in the person of Doc herself...it's complicated) -
I'm just going to jump in and answer number 3 on your list.
NO. There is no "right way" to progress through CoX. For example: I usually avoid the hollows. Not for any particular reason, I'm just not crazy about it.
The best way to see all of the story content is to either run multiple characters or to go back with the Oroborous feature. Actually, whichever way is the most enjoyable for you is the correct one. -
Well, most people don't. I happen to agree with you there. I'm just looking at it from the "marketeers have badges why don't I?" angle.
Besides, on villainside this could be called "partner in crime" if that hasn't already been used. That might be an interesting badge to have on. -
I have a few to choose from but I think my favorite name belongs to Project Terminated one of my rad/rad corrs.
She's the sole survivor of a UN sponsored Super Soldier project ... and she's not too happy about it. -

Why do we need any extra incentive to team? We already get more xp teaming(over time, not per kill) than playing solo.
[/ QUOTE ]
I like to think of this as less of an "incentive" to team and more as a reward for doing so. There are already badges for just about every other subset of the game community. Most of those badges are really nothing more than niftys with no real effect on game play. Why not one for teaming? -
Thigh Boots. With Trenchcoats a close second.
-
Another good reason for going in and locking down my character names on all servers. When "the big one" comes, I'll be ready.
Besides, it adds to my Alt-itis count. -

Wouldn't an Analyzer Mark IV temporary, craftable power--one that could be used to peer into your teammates' enhancement screen--be cool?
Screenshots of the info window of the scrapper with Flurry, Jump Kick, Team TP, and Resuscitate would no longer do when you could actually see under the hood of that character that just won't stop dying.
(And presumably this might lead to useful slotting advice and debates, though probably more open mocking and team conflict as well.)
[/ QUOTE ]
Sadly, mocking and team conflict would probably be the most likely outcome. There's more than enough "Build/ AT Superiority" issues as is. -

You can then buy additional spaces up to the maximum of 36 per server.
Also, every now and then new character slots are given as part of new updates and the like. These do not add to the 36 space max. but you don't have to pay for them.
[/ QUOTE ]
You sure about that? I thought it was 36 regardless of how you got them...
[/ QUOTE ]
We might be thinking the same thing from different angles. As far as I know, the maximum number of characters you can have on any single server is 36. This includes the 12 original, the free rewards mentioned earlier and any you purchase from the store.
This is where I was trying to go earlier. Not sure I'f I said it right. -

Pah that's only continental Europe...we Brits still use Miles, yards and feet (yards and feet my be too archaic and possibly not used in the states...not sure).
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh no, no, no. The last country to give up Imperial measurements will be the US. We're so addicted to Miles, Feet, Yards, and the like that we're still fighting tooth and claw NOT to use metric.
There was a push in the mid 1970's to have the entire country using metrics by the end of that decade. It failed. Roughly every decade after that there is another push within the education system to have every student using metrics. So far, not much success. -

36 per server... 11 servers... that would be 396 total characters per account.
Considering you can have as many accounts as you want, the real maximum is infinite.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ok I wasnt sure if it would actually allow you to fill every one of them up or not I am NO where close I was just curious if you would get a pop up saying "you have reached maximum amount of characters allowed"
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, there is a slight correction to this. Every account starts with 12 spaces per server. That gives you a base of 123 characters. You can then buy additional spaces up to the maximum of 36 per server.
Also, every now and then new character slots are given as part of new updates and the like. These do not add to the 36 space max. but you don't have to pay for them. -

There isn't really a good answer for your dark vs. light question. There are some rumored developments on the way which might let a player create something like this. For now, dark is all we have.
[/ QUOTE ]
Technically Peacebringers attack with light energy. There aren't any sets currently, or announced for the future, that are available to other ATs that deal in light.

True. I'm mostly a redsider and tend to forget about PB's. -

1. I have heard people talk about "toons". What is a toon?
2. Can a founder of a Super Group recruit characters from his own profile?
Also, (this might be the wrong place for this question) I have noticed a large focus on Dark powers. Dark Armor Dark force etc. There is Energy powers but are there any "Light" powers in development?
[/ QUOTE ]
"Toon" is a common shorthand for created characters. Not everyone uses it but most everyone will know what you mean.
If I'm understanding your SG question correctly, You can fill an SG with all of your own characters. It requires some assistance from another player (or account) but this is a common practice.

Why don't you guys also add the EU game servers to ours and collapse a few of OUR dead servers. You have many to choose from, that's for sure.
[/ QUOTE ]
Your definition of a "dead" server please? I find it hard to believe that there is any server that has so few players that it could be closed down. -

I can understand some restrictions on trial accounts but the chat restrictions just seem extremely unneeded and like they're just gonna drive people away from the game.

Sadly, the chat restrictions are absolutely VITAL

I'd support that.

Golden_Girl was the first thing that came to mind when I read about the merge with the Euro boards.

Whoever that is. As long as they stay out of my way I don't care

Um, agreed. Not sure why this would be such a good/bad thing. Not that I really need to know you understand. I just get the feeling that there's some kind of inside joke here.
