Just some of my more significant characters.

Doc Vendetta- Neutral Evil : Really, I'm going to go what I want to do even if it means I have to kill you to do it. Personally I'd prefer you just get out of my way and leave me alone.

Whispering Swan- Chaotic Evil: The only reason you are not dead now is because I don't feel like killing you right this moment.

Gray Goddess- Chaotic Neutral: I might let you live. I might kill you. I might make cookies and give them to small children. I might make cookies from small children.

Cassadega Delgado (Hi Protectorites!) - Chaotic Good: Rules? Since when have those done me any good? Just chill and trust me to do the right thing.

I don't do Lawful Good very well. I just can't wrap my mind around it. In reality, I'm a bit more Neutral Good. I'm generally inclined to do the right thing, usually within the rules, but willing to step outside the rules if they are too "stupid."

Only three times? I would have thought I'd get six out of that glitch. <sigh> Back to work.

I have a few characters that are still holding on to their mystery gift from last year. I plan on opening them just before this year's event starts. I know that, at worst, I'm getting a "gift card" of 250 inf. Maybe, with a bit of luck, I'll get a jingle jet or some other nifty. And, the best part is, I can get another present a few days later when they recycle.

Only recently have I used my forum Handle as a character name in game. It actually has it's origin as the name of a halfling character in old table top RPG's.

From what I've seen of it, it looks pretty nifty...with one exception.

The "running crouched over with your arm in front of your face" part of it reminds me less of a ninja and more of daffy duck pretending to be a vampire.

All of mine have quirks of one type or another but the most disturbing probably is Whispering Swan.

A young, successful professional singer, who was already showing signs of stress related depression when the club she was performing in was destroyed during the Rikti Invasion. Although she was pulled from the wreckage, debris crushed her throat, destroying her voice, leaving her with nothing more than a harsh whisper.
Although she underwent several months of physical and psychological treatment, her depression grew worse when she realized she would never sing again. Being highly religious, she continually prayed that her voice would come back. After two years of no improvement, she lost all her faith and turned to "the darker powers." As usual in cases like this, she got what she asked for, but not what she wanted. Instead of her beautiful singing voice, she got a lethal scream.
There was no turning back for her. What was depression turned to rage and disillusionment and hatred for everyone she blamed for what had happened to her. Since she was already mentally unstable, that meant EVERYONE. Anyone who crossed her path was likely to die, and many have.
Particular foci for her hatred are Longbow (for letting it happen), CoT (for decieving her), Rikti (for obvious reasons), and anybody else that happens to get on her bad side (which, as it has been pointed out, is the outside)

ok, I've seen the walk power but I'm wondering if there's something wrong. I can only see it on heroside characters at lv 20 and above. I cannot see it at all on villains at any level. This is on all of the servers I've tried.

In addition, on the few that have the power, it's grayed out and I cannot activate it.

Am I missing something here?

Sorry to hear about that. Thats the same thing that took our Shepherd mix a few years ago.

A fair warning for players that this person is on a trial account and may be either:

I've been seeing it a bit the last few days. I've seen it on Guardian/Triumph and Protector It's usually a server issue not something with your side of things.

If you haven't already, you can try the /sync command and see if that helps. Otherwise, we'll just have to wait until they stabilize the servers.

I have a Merc/Dark MM and it's like my own personal shooting gallery. With Tar Patch and Fearsome stare to hold people in place, I can tear apart just about anything at range.
Shadow fall makes getting the Mercs into position almost too easy and, if you're looking for a healers badge, Twilight Grasp almost hands it to you.

Honestly, mercs is the set that feels the most "Mastermind-ish" of all of them other than bots. You know, the whole COBRAAAAAAA! feeling.

Still doing things the old way here as well LL. Maybe it's just you.

OOh, those of you who can, let those of us who are "Test Deficient" know about the new toys, K?

Just adding a bit in here. I'm recovering from surgery myself so I can understand what the two of you are going through. Fortunately, my situation wasn't quite as severe but I can offer some words of advice.

TIME.
Recovery takes time. I've been told that it can take up to one month per day a person is in the hospital to ever really feel "normal" again. There will be good days and bad days. Big leaps forward and several steps back. There will be tears, and anger, and frustration, and hopelessness that it will ever get better. Eventually, it WILL get better.
