Cool, TA, so glad it's Friday, barring any weirdness I'll either be done or on the cusp of doneness by the end of this weekend.

Ticonderoga No. 2/HB!!!!!!! And an electric pencil sharpener, a kneaded eraser....Right now I'm using a sketchbook my girlfriend got me from barnes and nobles, it has super thick paper and can take a beating!

I've used tons of different pencils but I love the Ticonderoga! Lead holders are also nice cause you can choose different types of leads, but I ususally stick with the HB.

I love typing paper for drawing I only wish I could resize it like in photoshop on the fly, I always draw too big.

Those wooden anatomy models are meh to me, I like japanese toys like micromen and s.i.c.k. toys Super Imaginative Chogokin! They can get into some awesome poses!

But nothing beats a live model! I model for my gf and vice versa, next as mentioned by Retro are photos that you take, and finally photos others take.

When I'm not on the computer, I'm currently drawing on a tv dinner tray table cause I have no room to set up my two drafting tables....

For coloring look into copic markers they rock, a bit pricey but you can do some cool stuff with them.

GF just pointed out that I need to adjust the belt a bit! But that's easy!

Once I put the lightning in it'll be TA coming down to fry the little people!

I'm still tweaking! The costume that is....yeah, so we'll see how it goes, I realized after I did this that it's very similar to a superman or batman pose from kingdom come....hmm wonder if I could pull off an Alex Ross gouache... might be interesting we'll see.

I better put up some art !

I love working in photoshop, if a thought pops in your head, you can just go with it and not worry about destroying a piece!

Okay here's something that might help.

First off, my girlfriend Felicia did the key as I couldn't get it right and she had to push me aside and show me how it's done.

I flipped her right antennae, set her hands and tweaked the axe. I pushed the ribbons a bit more and wrapped the skirt around.

I think you can push it even further if you want.

Hope this is helpful, can't wait to see where you take it from here!

Very cool drawing, just watch the perspective on her right hand, it's actually going the opposite direction as the axe shaft. easy fix.

A little bit of a tangent with the axe and her right leg, make the axe a bit bigger to fix that and it would be neater with a big axe.

Like the Key, feels like it's more to one side then in the center of her back though.

If you wrap that skirt around her left leg, it'll feel more solid.

Piece looks great, just some thoughts from me, feel free to take it or leave it!

Yes I just go there myself just to read the insightful articles, I hardly notice the T or A!

Try making the MMOART HUGE!!!! well a lot bigger so it's the main graffitti on the wall and the you can add more smaller graffitti around it. You don't want to clutter it too much but you want to make sure that MMOART is the main focus after the figures.
