What program are you using for this?
If it's PS, I'd love to know what brush settings you're using.

I was given this book from my employer, they sometimes get books from publishers and I guess no one wanted it, I wasn't sure if it was any good, but after going through it, I found lots of useful info:
Digital Character Design and Painting Photoshop CS edition by Don Seegmiller
I am using three brushes, Airbrush Pen Opacity, ( it's a default Photoshop brush) with Hardness set to 50%. I think I have the flow set to 25%, I use this to sketch and put in details. I also use just airbrush soft round with opacity slider around 20-40%, and I think just normal round to lay in flats.
That book is really cool, it shows you how to create a blending brush with the healing brush which is actually so much better than the smudge tool! Oh I haven't done any blending on this piece, I just mentioned the blending technique from the book cause it's really neat!
All Photoshop and tablet, wacom 9x12. -

There is no signing up, due to my old age I seemed to have forgotten what I was talking about, so I'm just gonna go sit in the rocking chair and watch Matlock...Maaaatttttlooooocccckkkkk!

I was thinking some sort of battle royale insanity...dammit you made me reveal my idea! Well that was one idea, another could be normal sized group pic, I haven't decided yet, and the fact I'm even entertaining the idea is probably due to the fact that I am starting to forget how long it took to get the last one done! Ah the benefits of being forgetful....

Your jedi mind trick won't work on me! hmmm catgirls....
-
I didn't want to make the print available until I got mine to see the quality, I got the matte version and the paper is nice and thick! Might order up one for my wall at work.
I am now really excited to do more art and get them printed out big!!! And no, not starting another group pic yet, once I get another idea, I'll let you know! -
Just an update, I just got the print from Imagekind, 32"x19" and it's pretty awesome, I'm very happy with it! I'll put up some closeups of the poster soon but you can check out a pic over at the website
I still need to get the key done, but now that I've spent some time away from it, that should be a lot easier to do now! -
So a more painterly style it will be, might take a little longer than my usual turn around time, but it should be worth it!
-
While nothing is explicitly shown, this piece might be considered NSFW
Well this piece started out as a Sketch a Day sketch and is now a commission...yay
Tightened up the sketch a bit: tighter sketch
fixed it up a bit, arm a little too long here, and other stuff, dropped some tone on it: More refinements
Now I usually go and ink, digitally, but I thought I would play around, got some feedback about her face so I tweaked it a bit this morning.
Just messing around with a different style
Depending on feedback, I will either continue with this style or go back to a more traditional inked and colored look. -

I I've also managed to squeeze in Alex's character, simply because he's done so much for us lately.
