After thinking about this, quite seriously, I have to say my opinion on this movie idea for Dr. Who is summed up with this:

I mean, honestly, movies *aren't* everything... and I'm not terribly keen on a non-canon Dr. Who movie on top of it all. A nice 2 hour TV movie will do nicely, and one that's canon.
**However**...
If they do like was mentioned, a Young Doctor vs a Young Master, and the stealing (allowing herself to be stolen?) of the TARDIS, is an idea I can definitely get behind, and in THAT ONE INSTANCE, I'll take a Dr. Who Movie... as long as it's a full 2 hours, and it's awesome.
/DO NOT do what M. Night Shamylan did to Avatar: The Last Airbender, namely, cram a season's worth of stuff into 90 minutes of movie.

I have to say, hands down, my Claws/WP scrapper was by far the most fun one I did. Solo project, and all outdoors, no contacts. Just going about, smacking +4 (or higher, if I could find 'em) bosses left and right. It was so very sweet. Fastest 50 I ever did.
The one I was most *satisfied* with, however, was my Mind/Emp 'Troller, my first 50, because she was my second ever toon (the first being a claws/regen, and I for some reason didn't like him much...) They why of my satisfaction was the fact that she was built once, and built pretty much perfectly, near as I can tell/need, for both solo and teaming. I was highly proud of her and still am.
I like all my toons. But these two are the Pinnacles for me, so far. -
'Cause it'd be insanely hard for the Devs to actually do, so they hope the thread dies some day. And they're not into 'fun'. Heroing/Villianing/Praetoriaing/PvPing/AEing is srs binis, dontchaknow. Hence, no sticky.

Sigh... one of the things I'll be missing these days is SyFy. I have elected to not get 'cable' in my new digs. SyFy, TLC, Discover, Science, BBC America, and most importanly, Nicktoons (morning Avatar fix...), aren't gonna be in my plans unless they become part of a Netflix plan, or are on the internet directly
/Internet comes Monday at 8P CST. I got the 2Wire box delivered already, so... I'm hopin' it's just 'click, click, done, ON!'

1) There shoud be pressure. Positive pressure upon the CPU/cooler to keep a good contact beween the surfaces. Most motherboards bend under the pressure, these days, in fact. It's rather alarming the first time you see it...
2) You need a *small* amount of the goop. Spreading it with a business card is a good idea, just a thin amount on the CPU itself, and a clean surface of the cooler. You have entirely too much on that cpu, if you ask me, in the second picture.
3) You said the cooler has a 3 pin connector... and that connector is put where... on the motherboard? It's possible that the motherboard can't compensate correctly, or fast enough, with a non-stock cooler. You may need to use a separate temperature controller or a manual fan controller to fix this issue, unless you can get Speedfan to run those fans directly, and then set it to ramp the fans up faster/sooner.
Exceptin' those, there shouldn't be any issues, so if you do all that, including just simply running the cooler fan at 'screaming', and the temps aren't good, the cpu is probably trash, or the sensors are.
/Like the Gigabyte brand, exclusive to them for my own personal needs... but haven't been an AMD fan in years... Temps are one of the reasons.

I've got 2 Mind/? 'trollers (Mind/Emp and Mind/Kin), as well as a Mind/Psi Dom.
There is NOTHING like locking down huge mobs with two, perhaps 3, AoE powers. And they're not all minons. And there's nothing like consistently locking down +4 Bosses when you shouldn't ordinarly be able to
I.e, pretty much what Steele said, in just about every way, although I can't speak yet for doing the coolness of the Mind/Kin yet... but Rose Dawn *does* solo extremely well, and is the +4 boss killer I speak of.

NEVER did I respec any characters. Ever. I read what the powers are/do/do to you, and then select/slot accordingly.
And, since I never use them, earned or freebies either, I've got something all of my originally 'given' respecs, and a ton of tailor tokens too. So there's that. I think Holiday Kitten might be the biggest user of my tailor tokens...
On the trial, sure, I've done it. I like it just fine as it is, and as been said, if you're that bad/inexperienced at making a character, then you're gonna need it to be a little lighter to get through it so you can respec. -

They deserve to play this game how they want and there is nothing you can do about that.
I also think it's fine as it is. I don't, never, and likely will never, have any issue with AE in these respects.
What *I* have a problem with, if you really want to fix it, is to, oh, I dunno, look at my signature, for starters. And why does updating it kill older arcs in some way, say, changed maps or broken custom characters? And why is there *NO WAY* to place something in the back of an outdoor zone? There's a front and a back everywhere else but those? Hm.
There's a LOT more broken with AE than has to do with farming, and it's all inattention to details... that it works as well as it does is pretty dang amazing, actually, and is likely also due to dilligence in testing the arcs before releasing them to the public by the authors.
I quit making AE arcs when I found out the outdoors maps were broken, as spawns would happen outside the explorable map. And I couldn't put things in the back. Kinda spoiled the whole idea of the way the missions were supposed to work. They've never been fixed since AE was conceived.
THAT kind of stuff needs fixing *way* before you nerf/fren things to satisfy some 'logical' reason it's 'broken' for farming/PL/inf that 'you' don't particularly care for.
Some people like the journey. Some people wanna be genies immediately. IDIC is the stuff of our existence. Be well.

Rose Dawn is WAY overpowered for a Mind/Kin 'troller, as I've built her, and with a few exceptions, can handle multiple +4 bosses easily. Way beyond what I expected.
Total Dependent. An Ice/Ice Defender. Has but ONE offensive power, and that is only slotted for aim. The rest of her powers are team oriented, so she pretty much completely depends on a team for her XP, offensively, but does her best to buff/debuff as needed. Never had a complaint using her, and got her to 37 in that form, which was, to me, sorta unexpected. Thought it would have been harder. Will likey re-roll her to just start over and see what happens now, once Rose is a 50. -
I want one for either Space 1999, Barbarella, or the Muppets, specifically, Pigs In Space.

Oh, please. New time zones? That's just silly. It's NOT the reason anything is happening.
I'll vote for you, Morbid, if you do it this way... simply put, at whatever the appropriate time is, Fall Back OR Spring Forward 30 minutes, and then KEEP IT THERE FOREVER.
It seems to me that a simple 30 minute change at the appropriate time will actually perform the needs all year. Oh, sure, there may be a little more candles burned during the summer or something... but really, it's JUST 30 minutes.
Get the whole world to do that, and it'd be golden!
Just my $.10 on it. $.02 won't pay for jack anymore.

I would also be checking her computer for malware, as honestly, even the heaviest internet use sans video/audio/file downloading shouldn't cause this.
Obviously, the router is unable to adequately handle the extra requests her computer is giving it, but it does beg the question... just how much traffic is her computer generating, and how much of it is due to her, and not some rogue program?
What kind of a router are we talking about? Could be part of the key to solving this.
Another thought... if her computer and/or the router is having trouble 'hearing' each other (either due to interference on the channel, or the signal's bad) that could cause the router/computer communications to be retried a LOT.
I'd gett inSSIDer to 'sniff' for other routers that might be on the same channel. Turn off your router, and fire this thing up. Let it show you all the other routers about. Then set your router to a non-used channel. Remember to try to get a 5 channel spread (that is, if you pick channel 8, make sure that 6 through 10 don't have a whole lot of signal nearby)
Also, wireless phones could cause this problem if they're on the 2.4GHz frequencies. Might get rid of them and get a DECT6.0 instead.
Some of that is G stuff, if it's all N, well... same ideas, but different details. Heh.

CPU usage and Co* is about normal, I'd say. Although, you DO have quite a bit going on in the Hijack this log. Co* is a pretty good CPU user. Even a dual core will get a nice workout.
Upgrading to a dual core will help, as Co* does use the second core. 35 FPS on what you got is pretty good though. It doesn't sound off at all, to me.
You really need to think about running MSCONFIG and turning things off to see if any of that running in the background is required. The less the computer needs to do behind Co*'s back, the better. -

/support is something I've never dealt with, mainly because support takes too long, and I AM a Vip. So I figure if it's important, the sheer weight of "THIS SUCKS" will eventually get it fixed, or I'll just have to live with it, or figure it out myself, as either a work around or an actual solution.
