I'd be very interested in knowing what your system has in it to require use of old drivers.
I know, it's frustrating, but trying to run a Baja 1000 with a Yugo, so to speak, is going to give you problems, and that's just plain physics. So it is with Co*, and using old anything that it doesn't really care for... well... yeah, you might need to address that issue directly, instead of putting up with the -ignorebaddriver thing.
Maybe they were having such issues with support calls with people who used the switch but still had other issues related to using it, they decided to ignore the ignore? :dunno: -

Aggie, I'm sure that's what they're saying... but... there is a second part to this, and that starts in another thread, and it *directly* has to do with security. Namely, having us log in all the time isn't a good idea, if that 8 hour thing is supposed to be true.
And I know you're just repeating what's been said, so that's cool.
Any votes on the forums only thread area?

I'm just curious about whether it is possible to have a power that causes knockback only when the target dies from the attack. The idea is mainly for visual appeal, specifically with powersets like Super Strength and Titan Weapons. Would the current powers system support a huge knockback contingent upon death? Is it similarly possible for powers like Nova to multiply the KB even higher when the target dies? I'd love to see things go flying huge distances, but mainly dead things.
(One possible route would be for any power with knock up or back in it to do something like (base value x 3) + Mag 6 knockback if the target dies from the attack.)
/And if the game said "FINISH HIM!", well, that would be pure w00tness.

I'm guessin' it's one of two things:
The file(s) in question are locked for some reason, either due to a program holding on to them, or one of the folders listed in the install somewhere is not allowing access to the files.
It's possible the spaces in the name "NCPatcherCon fig" is the problem.
Other than that... idunno. Drill press maybe. -

I cannot get this thing to remember me. I have to keep typing in my password. I'm not certain if it's my computer or the forums anymore. I've heard both. Checks on my computer reveal nothing, and I've tried to get these forums to remember me on other computers, to no avail.
So, is what I'm experiencing having to do with the computer I'm using, the IE8 or IE9s I'm using, the Uverse/DSL/ATT fiber connections (I've used all three at different locals, all of which I 'own', so to speak), or is it the forums, or is it possibly my user name?
I don't... think there's anything else it could be...
And, honestly, I think it's time for a 'Things about the forums/boards' section so we can air out issues JUST about this place, and get Mods/Devs to see them.
Anyway... thanks in advance. Need to know this before my next question. -

Not a brag, just sayin', if it's crashin' it's your setup somewhere. The Updater, and Co*, work flawlessly, every time, on my machine:
E6750 Core 2 Duo, 4G ram, 32 Bit Vista Ultimate, Evga Nvidia 9600GT 512MB PCIx16, onboard Realtek audio, 3 speed on the tree, and an FM radio in it.
