I would, and continue to, hope that I have good security on my computer... but like the dang flu, things keep changing, and every so often... someone's gettin through to some people's. It is my firm belief that no security on a computer is foolproof or unbreakable.

Ok, so it's obvious the forums still don't remember us. K. I have been handling that for a while now, so it's not a huge, operationally.

However... the forum account and the game account is tied together. This sucks.

I also had the main account with the same password (I'm a rebel!), but I just changed it. Luckily, nothing happened, and now, I'm... well, relatively secure, seeing as how the password is a alphanumeric only, and no symbols. Still, I threw in caps in a few places, so THAT'll confuse them!

Anyway. It's one thing to demand our password over and over and over and over... but at least the game remembers our username.

The forum does not. This is why having the same password sucks.

A nefarious person could wind up with the username and password for both the forum and the game with a keylogger. This could then wind up not only having my account used to belittle people in these forums (you imbeciles you), but also... hey, wait... I didn't type that, did I?

..er, anyway, but also get into my game account and screw me over, deleting characters and such.

While I do enjoy my forum times here... I may just stop comin' here until it's fixed.

I am only chiming on the 'does anyone else...?' question, to say that no, indeed, I am not having this issue. I played for *hours* this weekend, and didn't see any problems whatsoever. None.

I'm on a Win Vista Ultimate 32 bit, 4G, 9600GT system. In case that matters. And I don't run a ton of stuff in the background.

It is HIGHLY interesting to note that in quite more than just a few threads with an issue... it's got an ATI video card in it.

I'm not saying that's it... but that's it. No, not really, I kid.

Biggest, dumbest, strongest brute evar known. So I made Big Thing, SS/Invuln brute, and put the biggest costume possible on him, including the biggest wings, armor, and the largest available head that I know of: A flaming punkin' (from Halloween). Oh, and all the sliders are at 10/right. If they could be 11, they would be.

Baddest, surliest, solo artist, so I made Homeslicer, Claws/WP scrapper, and dressed him all in black, with yellow glowing eyes. He can stand in a veritable SEA of minions and LTs and not take one lick of HP damage.. then wipe them all out in a few seconds. Love that one.

The Dawn Sisters... three Mind/? Magic Sisters who are either 'Trollers or Dom. One is a Heroine, Mind/Emp 'troller. One is a total b***h Villainess, Mind/Psi Dom, and the third is a Mind/Kin 'Troller Vigilante. Three different ways to mess with their enemies minds, all linked by a single tragic accident that befell their beloved pet iguana. Almost got the third to 50, not quite there yet, currently distracted by...

The Brawl only Brute, the Brawlin' Humilator. I picked WM/WP for his powers, but he only uses the Brawl. He's a former boxer who's fallen on bad times in the boxing arena, so now he runs about Paragon smacking all the baddies in the face, and ONLY using Brawl and whatever defensive minded powers he can get, and that's it. Should be interesting to get that one to 50.

I also have one called Holiday Kitten, which I've not played with in a while, but she was to be dressed in whatever current Holiday it would be. The first was a scary flying cat, not quite a bat, but all in black with bones and no mouth. I forget her powers, but she did fly and had the bony wings to go with that. Then she was a pilgrim, then a santa's helper, and so on... I should probably get that one re-rolled one day.

When I played the one I got to 50 (before the Fren, that is), which was a Mind/Psi Dom, my philosophy was this:

Play as a slightly gimped Troller. In other words, understand it's gonna go slower, and maybe slot for the lesser damage, otherwise, play about the same.

Then, when Domination happens... Go scrapperlock until it wears off.

It was great fun doing that... "I'm on Dom, keep up!" *takes off mowing down mobs until Dom wore off*

Some team mates didn't understand that Domilock that Domination brings... at first, but they figured it out.

Domination is the reason to run a Dominator, otherwise, just run a 'troller and be done with it, IMO.

(edit: Again, this is pre-Fren. I haven't played that same Dominator Mind/Emp build to 50 to really have a decent comparison, so others MMV.)

Well, they make code changes all the time... tweaks here, tweaks there... probably tweaked your computer off, so to speak.

I mean, they also stopped letting Win98 and Win2000 computers work (I think... something like that anyway) to 'get people with the program'.

I think a CoHHelper would be very enlightening, if you wouldn't mind. I'm just terribly curious now what's goin' on with your 2007 computer... because my 2006 computer still runs it...?
