Depends on the character, and their level, and such like that there.

One particular one though, doesn't use them at all, because he's just that awesome and doesn't need them. But he'll eat them anyway, and then stand around to wait for them to wear off, just to clear the tray.

I never... EVER... crash. Well, that's not specifically true, but I cannot remember the last time the game actually crashed on me, and I wasn't trying to make it. Namely, by not having enough memory in it and seeing what happened.

I have lag, this is true, but only when it's just *stupid crazy populated* in a zone... and on an occasional server when it's just not keeping up. That's a rarity too these days.

Vox: My guess is they're item intensive, and a lot of...is it occlusions? The stuff that's technically 'in view', but can't be seen because it's behind a wall. That still has to be 'drawn', then 'undrawn'. I'm guessing that's it.

I don't know of any mistakes I make. I'm fracking perfect, in game, anyway.

Basically, it's this: I see what you're saying. And I bet they get it, and are working on avoiding a meltdown.

BUT... even if it's not the ubereyecandyfest that others are, it is a great game as it is. I hope it doesn't get broken by something they add/change, but it's out there. I bet it doesn't, or if it does, it's only for a short time. Stuff happens.

The content is what keeps most people interested. THAT is what needs to keep being expanded. I'm fine with the graphics as long as they keep adding things. I don't need eyecandy, although it's nice, I want STUFF. Things to do, powers to learn/try, stories to read/tell.

But what I will absolutely leave and never come back for is this: If you abandon all the hard work I've put into these characters, if you abandon all the lore that's been read and learned, if you make me start over... I just walk away.

However, that is me. For a newbie coming in to Co* 2 (which is a HORRIBLE idea, by the way... a completely new name is in order) it'll be fresh and stuff.

And it'll be horribly gimped from the powersets and such, in such an order of magnitude it will be Co* Issue 3 or so, with better graphics maybe.

Nope. It's fine like it is, ya ask me. Even with it's warts.

I particularly liked going to the top of the arena in Port Oakes and watch the sun set over Mount Diablo, but that's just me.

I'm gonna have to go huntin' for cool spots, and also check out First Ward and Praetoria as mentioned.

It's motorcycle geek and NFL geek, and it was perfect. Love 'em.

I can also confirm this is definitely NOT the norm. You might want to expand the blame for this beyond Windows... like maybe a rootkit or something else weird going on, but in all the Win7 machines I've been working on (gettin' to be about 100 in my operations now) none of them do this 'auto arrange' reset. They stay like they're supposed to.

I... have never had an issue with this. I ignore the gray easily and see my own orange hits (and my red ones, ow) and that's all I need.

But... to be honest, I don't care about the amounts, I watch their bars and if the HP ones are goin' down, that's what I'm lookin' for.

Here's a whacky idea: Play the game. Get involed with pickup groups. Chat some, maybe in [Help] but for sure in [Global] and [Local]. Trial and error.

There's no real substitute for actually learning the game, playing it through the way it was meant to be done.

But hey, it's your time, I guess. I hope you find enjoyment however you choose to play Co*!

Post it up here in a reply, please, and maybe some info such as type of computer (model, maker, etc) or the parts used (GeForce 260, Radeon 6970, XP, Vista, 7, 2G memory or 4G, that sort of thing.)
