  2. how is barracuda easier now? they made AV's harder. insanely harder.

    also what are these temp powers you can keep racking up? the weapon temp powers I've had that was able to keep getting (EMP gloves from sirens) I can only keep 1 of at a time, so at most 10 shots until i need to buy it again. I can't buy 10 at a time to have 100 shots

    so what are these temp powers you can collect that are so game breaking?

  4. why are you trying to say /inv isnt better than /elec? it's resistances are just a little less (10% less? for most types), but it's got a lot of defense as well as resists, and dull pain

    also invincibility's +def has a very high value for the first guy you're close to, and only little buffs for additional enemies in range

    i'd use /inv instead of /elec, but the new black colors of /inv are [censored] horrible ugly and throb and give me and other people headaches
  5. the devs did say ours would be "significantly" better, since we can't respec into a different pool, and have very limited options anyway

    im also not taking elude, since it (supposedly) got nerfed, i already had it and it used a lot of end, and running with it off i live about the same time, so i'll respec out of it with i7

    Heck, one way I'd be happy with for them to fix it would be to make it essentially a version of itself that only chains back to the target it hit. So in other words, make it a fully single target attack as a fast DoT with a higher magnitude sleep or whatever it is that causes the mobs to do that caught-in-electricity animation. That way, while it's not doing the conceptually neat chaining between enemies, it stays effective, it doesn't have the XP loss issue, and the set gets a decent higher damage single target attack for those that want burst damage. What would people think of something like that?

    but as the poster below you said the sleep would be broken, make it a hold (much like KO blow and seismic smash have hold components)

    i think if it was the elec version of those 2 attacks, that'd be a great single-target attack that most people would love

  12. actually stalkers dont get smoke grenade, the /nin secondary can get smoke flash, which is just a pbaoe placate, which doesnt add the "hidden" status to the stalker, AND requires a to-hit check

    completely different

    i wish we could get smoke grenade in one of the patron pools though

    The Night Widow's Smoke Grenade is exactly the same scale for both Perception (-90%) and To Hit debuff (-0.5) as Smoke Grenade (and Fire Controls 'Smoke' and Trick Arrow's 'Flash Arrow'.)

    The issue you are describing of critters being aware of you even after you blind them is the same problem Stalkers have with Hide -- once you have Aggroed a critter, it always knows where you are, despite Stealth or Perception changes.     Ok... so then a change neds to be made to the mob version of smoke grenade. Once a mob attacks a player, the entire spawn should be visible. That is, in effect, what happens for mobs. You'd liel to see it fixed - excellent... but until then we're playing on a vastly uneven field. No player power can blind enemies with the kind of effectiveness that nightwidow smoke grenade has. This is not just a minor inconvenience, it's downright overpowered.

    Perhaps, like I stated earlier, just make smoke grenade a targetted AoE, so you can at least get out of the area to be able to see again...

  14. yeah the resists should be higher since there is zero defense and zero heal/regen/etc
  15. they need to have a way so you can fight bosses at the end if you're on easy mode (or 2nd), and eb's if you're on middle (or 4th), and heros if you're on hardest

    No. I should say, "Not Likely" since anything is possible. Lightning Rod, with it's Area of Effect, does about twice the damage of any other Brute tier 9 power. Against a single target, its damage is comparable to Greater Fire Sword.

    EDIT: Chain Induction: We're looking at options on this. The XP loss was not intended, but may be unavoidable with the current design.

    can you make l-rod's recharge 30 secs or less? anything over that and it's damage/cost/recharge is way below the other brute lvl 32 powers

  19. the only thing stalkers have as an advantage is the higher stealth cap, which is useless in RV, and half-useless in SC

    so i dont know why people were complaining, blasters even get Buildup AND aim, while stalkers only get BU, and start on a lower damage scale to begin with
  20. oh noes our lv 41/44 snipes might have been nearly as good as a blaster's lvl 8 snipes, oh no! we only had to gain 33+ levels more to get it too!
