i actually earned the sirens call one pvping the whole 5 hours
it was fun, i was playing a ss/inv brutehad more success with him then i've ever had with a stalker, but the only stalker i've pvpd with much was a NB, who is gimped in SC
there are programs to keep logged in for 5 hours, i see heroes afk in the hospital all the time to get their badge, it sucks when they're your rep and they're sleeping yet not being logged out -
mastermind is so low they aren't even on the list
and i agree with that list, i've spent probably about 30+ hours pvping in the last few months in SC and warburg -
/EA stalkers can resist a whopping 10% of energy attacks after 3-slotting their resist with SO's
but blasters do 30% unresisted anyway, so that 10% is down to 7%
no wonder nobody takes the passives
i've heard there's an unwritten rule that defense is twice as good as resists, yet we can get crazy defense but a whopping 10% resist? [censored] -
btw anyone know the chance to crit on a held enemy? from my playing a stalker to lvl 38, it seems like about 5%

that got nerfed in the new patch too
have to re-apply GI every time you're unhidden for it to add to -per -
i thought they already did, what with the buffbots in the hospital spamming CM and the like...

the question i have is...what's wrong with stalkers having higher kill counts? we are the assassin class
are all AT's supposed to be about equal? should stalkers have similar k/d ratios to defenders? mm's? doms? -

@Sufferance: Crying? maybe a strong term, but the thread title is, "Placate nerf" and the affects that it will have. It isn't a nerf though that is the thing. It is a bug fix to prevent the exploitation of an unintended power effect. Besides, a good stalker would not have needed to rely upon this glitch anyway. My comment about tohit debuffs getting nerfed was to show what an actual nerf looks like (in this patch at least).
That being said, the Grant Invis nerf is kind of interesting and is what I am paying attention to. Though it is a global AT nerf, it will affect pvp stalkers the most I think
It must be reapplied to gain the stealth benefit from it after a stalker (or anyone I assume with GI on them) attacks. Think about the work necessary to keep a stalker at the stealth cap now.

Why not leave Placate as-is for PVP but just add a to-hit check?
NOTE: that's a to-hit check ONLY for PVP. Leave 100% as-is for PVE.

i've said it before...every stalker would just find it mandatory to put 3 recharges and 3 acc's in it...so it'd hit 95% of the time instead of 100%...not a big difference -

so will most /DA stalkers skip placate? -
if placate required a to-hit, stalkers would just put 2 or 3 acc's in it and it would hit 95% of the time instead of 100%...not much of a difference or a point to bother

i wish my ninja blade stalker had any attacks to use in siren's call that were worth getting the 90% blaster dmg
ok i guess i have soaring dragon i got at 26, but that's the only good attack in SC other than AS -

For example: Today I am with my Ice/Rad Controller jumping back and forth over a wall (to keep from being AS'd) trying to engage in a hot spot in Siren's Call. I guess some Stalker had me on follow because even though I am erratic in my movement, the activation rooting time of Glacier got me AS'd (1-shot kill). I send in a bug everytime one of my powers gets me killed because of rooting

yeah because the villains aren't supposed to kill anything! that's unfair! -
i used the wrong word, what i meant was that they both worked on 1 target at the same time
someone said that only 1 could work on a pvp target at a time -
the debuffs both stack in PvE so i dont know why they wouldn't in pvp
