i also tried one with my 37 bot/ff, didnt really notice defense scaling or not, since i died a few times (fighting lvl 40's)
got in jail after first death, noticed the door had 2k hp...so i summoned bots and twiddled my thumbs for 2-3 minutes while they killed it. then i promptly got killed by all the guards outside the door
went to jail again (with lots of debt), summoned bots, they started attacking...then my protector bots pushed/shoved their way through the door and started getting hurt pretty bad by the guards out there. I tried healing them and couldnt (aid other), and of course their heal is broken now
then the guards out there killed my prot bots and got aggrod on me, and they started clipping parts of their bodies through the door and attacked me repeatedly. I was able to attack them back, and they killed me (while door was only half dead)
so more debt, click hospital again to go to jail. the clipping thing happened again and i just alt-tabbed until mish failed (was down to 1 minute)
so I didnt get to see much -

FYI, all you "chum" fans, you need to know what that word means. "Chum" is the bait used to lure sharks, composed of ground bits of meat (usually fish) and blood. Water is "chummed" by scattering this mixture into the water, and the scent of it then attracts sharks.
I'm guessing the reason it was changed to "Bile" spray was for more correct representation.
If you're one of those who subscribe to the "chumz0rz iz k3wl!" camp, you might also think "d34th n1nj4hz spr4yz0rz" is k3wl too, but you won't get my vote there either.
Perhaps they could change it to something more Coral-centric? My vote would be "Toxin Jet" or something. A coral reef holds many mysteries. Chum, however, isn't one of 'em.

As a dominator, with an cone that does ~30 damage, Chum is very fitting. The spray part is from return attacks.

yeah its too bad the regen stalkers dont get it, they still have to take stamina

if i wanted a brute with tp for travel i'd just take /stone, it's got great regen and an awesome lvl 38 power
the set also has both defense and resists, and a self heal -
i'd rather swap the power drain to 28 and get something different at 35

the dark sets seem like they're made to be like weak scrappers instead of real stalkers, hence why the 2 auras were left in the armor (and we were told to just not activate them until we were already unhidden...lol)

still it'd be nice if pets retaliated when an enemy tried to attack me and missed, instead of *just* when an enemy's attack hits... -
at least it has immob/KB protection
and its a defensive set, so aid self is easier to use -
i disagree, we need better CONTROL
im fine with dom dmg being sub-par without domination, but we need more like 125% control than controllers, because we dont get buffs/debuffs
if we're holding enemies, we can kill them at our leisure
but we can barely hold enemies
btw a mini-containment would also be nice, and allieviate many ppl's complaints of damage -
end drain is a terrible status effect in PvE
it doesnt do anything until you've drained the foe of all their end, and then they just recharge a little and use another attack
AV's and EB's got a lot more end a few patches ago, and AV's just got harder in i7 (which i hope will be rescinded)
easier and faster to just reduce an enemy's HP than their END -
there are a bunch of ways they could fix domination :/
at least they reduced the recharge by 1/3 -

I love the changes to domination. I do find that damage is still too low even with domination running. In PvP I find that controls come a dime a dozen, and due to that, most come prepared. With our controlling abilities mostly negated, that leaves us with our damage. Yet we have subpar damage therefore even with domination running, I'm not much use for my team, against any decent team.
I may be the only one that feels this way, so my opinion may not mean much.

I had a tiny little arachnobot kill a hero faster than I did.
We have less control than controllers. Less damage than almost anyone I think (though if someone has numbers I happily rescind that statement), are nigh expected in Melee (at least with all of Ice PBAOE we are) with no HP or defense.
Cmon someone please give us something. in PVP control is temporary at best with people regularly making shopping trips for Break Frees every 6k bounty or so!

so did they fix the bug where sometimes pets would obey other mm's commands, or did they make pets stop "defednding" teammates across a map if the teammate is being attacked and the pets are in defensive mode?
because i reeeeally want that second part fixed, it happens all the damn time
my robots used to stand still when i put them in defensive/aggressive, and use ranged attacks at anyone in their aggro range, without ever moving. now even solo they don't follow commands that well -
heros get blasters and scrappers to do dmg
vills have brutes
controllers >>>>>>>> dominators
corrupters are good, they're kinda like controllers but less controls and a bit more dmg
villains dont get the great buff-bots, we have to make do with corrupters, even though many of them completely ignore their secondary (saw a lv 20 fire/thermal today that hadn't taken any thermal powers except for the first one)
defenders are what make heroes greater than the sum of their parts, we get weakened versions of those buffs (if our powersets include them at all) on an AT with damage as its primary function
in a 1-on-1 fight, the only hero who would (probably) lose is a defender (against their counterparts, etc....)
the AT variability in pvp should tell you quite a lot about how good each set is in it. i dont think i need to tell you what that list looks like -
well the pets def and res aren't being factored into their share (which is stupid)
but i agree 12% of an AS would be like 120 dmg, which is only about 1/3 or 1/4 of the tier 1 pet's hp in warburg -
yeah yeah we all know that's the excuse the devs say all the time, you dont need to repeat it again

wow if they made pff a self-buff version of deflection and insulation shields combined (while letting us attack/etc with it on) that'd be cool, and I'd actually keep it in i7.
doubt they will though, so with my freespec in i7 i'll drop PFF, bodyguard is better off w/out it
another thing people keep saying about how long a MM can survive with bodyguard up...our pets will do crap dmg (especially melee pets) if they're always in bodyguard, even if we can pseudo-tank for a bit, we'll never kill anyone -
i picked it because i was new to CoV and robots/force fields sounded cool

i'd sure love resists too, since BU+AIM only boosts dmg by about 150%, wheras it completely negates any def i have
dont think the devs will do that, cant have the blasters running around without 2-shotting everything -
nope, no word. either the devs are trying to work on something for it and haven't said yet because they dont want anything set in stone, or they're ignoring mm's
dont hold your breath for any villain buffs that haven't been mentioned by now
