1. Was just on, got booted, and can't login to Justice, Guardian, etc. any longer. Can login to Freedom, Champion, etc.
2. Just saw this today. The Acc/Rech recipe in the Razzle Dazzle set is missing a piece. It only has two common salvage listed to create it, which for an uncommon recipe is missing one. It should also list an uncommon salvage to create, no?

Dual Pistols

<QR>

I think that whatever the outcome of the set is, the devs need to take the obvious into consideration... they need to remember that this is an oft requested, long desired set by the community (at least the blaster/corruptor subset of the community). With the previews of Going Rogue being nothing short of great, and now the announcement that dual pistols will also be included with it, they need to make sure the set is nothing short of complete awesome. I really feel that this is one of those particular sets that they really have to deliver on. If they simply repackage the existing Thugs MM powers with some random new ones, it would be a complete disappointment.

I know this is kinda stating the obvious, but I thought it needed to be said.

And yes, the day GR is released, I will be at home gleefully rolling a new DP/something Blaster without a second thought.
4. I still have this happen from time to time, but if I start in on an arc and eventually outlevel it, the contact still gives me the missions for the remainder of the arc, but they are capped at the top-most level for the arc. I.e., I have a high 40's hero that just completed an arc from Gordon Stacy whose arc missions are well below those levels. The enemies in the missions were well below my level.

However, if you don't start the arc before you outlevel it, it's gone from that contact and you need to Ouro it.

My way of choice is to craft and sell at a profit common IOs.

This. Pick a memorization badge tier, craft those, then continue until you hit 1,000. It's a long road, but a steady one. I've been doing this for about the last 2k crafts getting to Fabricator. Still got another 2k to go.

Overall the quickest is to buy up salvage and craft empowerment buffs, if influence is no object. Nowadays salvage prices are so all over the board you could really pay through the nose for it though.
6. Steel has always been my fave hunting place for Outcast bosses.
7. [ QUOTE ]
Disagree all that you wish, that doesn't make it so...

[/ QUOTE ]

It does, at least to me, because I know what happened in the mission. I'll agree that it's possible that the stars aligned just right that this was the first time I ever received the effect and I got hit with the toggle drop bug all at the same time. However, I was defeated, so no toggles. I didn't leave the mission to hit the hospital, I didn't leave the mission to hit the base, nada. Just fell on my face, waited a minute, got rezzed by a teammate and poof, all gone.

At any rate, I think this one can be closed as "not a bug" since it's a real power in the game that I just never saw before, and have just been lucky enough to avoid all this time. Or, as someone else noted, the Minotaurs are using the power more frequently now due to AI changes. Thanks to all that responded with the info. Much appreciated.
8. [ QUOTE ]
Yup and dying and being rezzed doesn't eliminate this debuff. It runs it's full amount of time no matter how many times you die. If you hit the hospital afterwards you "can" sometimes make use of the detoggle on zoning bug which will occasionally reset the debuff.

[/ QUOTE ]

Right-clicking on the power gave the name "Diseased". My apologies, but that is all I got to see. I didn't think to check the attributes or the combat attributes of it. I'm 100% positive it has a -Recovery effect on you as that is what made me find it, as my end was trucking along the entire mission till that moment.

However, I disagree with the above quote as, upon dying and being rezzed in the same mission, the effect was no longer present. That's not hearsay, that's actually what happened. I know, because I got toggle dropped from the -Recovery, smacked by 10 EB's and then rezzed by a fellow teammate.

Edit: I started writing this before your last reply flipside. I just seen too many players over the years try to find leveling advantages though unintended interactions in existing systems within the game. With all the changes, intentional or otherwise, the devs have done to speed leveling, resulting in the "disable XP" switch for players who don't want to outlevel content or contacts, it simply annoyed me when it seemed you were looking for a way to pull a fast one and get a pact out of sink with one another.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope, not trying to do that at all and never mentioned trying to find a "loophole" or anything. I'm just trying to figure out how the mechanic works under these odd conditions. As you noted, there are times where we just want to disable XP so we don't outlevel content (personally, I love the Freaklympics story arc and find a point to always do it on my characters), and in those cases, my brain barfed at understanding how the two interact.

But, I understand it now. Thanks to all those that replied.
10. I was trying to understand how the "level pact xp" and "disabled xp" options work within a level pact, which I got answered above. I did have a slight expectation that having xp disabled on Character_A would still give level pact xp to Character_B. My thought behind this is that Character_A has chosen not to earn xp on that character, losing his share of the level pact xp. However, Character_B has not, and if they were in the same mission together, Character_B would still be earning xp regardless. That was my reasoning behind it and thinking of "it may be a bug."
11. Not sure why all the angst FatherXmas, but I was confused by it all and wanted someone to explain it to me. The "Player Questions" forum seemed kinda like the place for that. I got the answer earlier in a much nicer post, but thanks anyways.
12. Wow. Well, I gotta say I must have just been really lucky all this time. Have never seen that happen before. Thanks for the info Aggelakis.
13. Was in an ITF tonight and received the "Diseased" temp power on the 3rd mission, the one where you fight the computer. I received it in the middle of a fight in the valley. I didn't have it entering the mission, didn't have it while fighting the computer, nothing. It just popped on while in the middle of a fight.

Is there something in this mission, or a little known power that one of the Cimeroran Traitors have that can cause this? I've never, ever seen or heard of this before, and I've run dozens of ITF's.

If it helps with testing, I manged to be defeated because of it as it has a massive -recovery portion to it and I got toggle dropped. When I rezzed, I no longer had it on me.
14. <QR>

I have received real e-mails in game, but not in... several years. It's an outdated system and should just be put out to pasture, in my opinion.
15. Hrm. Ok, so it appears I'll need to break the pact to make something like this work. Is this considered a bug? Or is this intended behavior I wonder?

Thanks for the responses!
16. I have some confusion on how a particular setup would work with level pact xp and disabled xp amongst two characters. Character_A is level pacted to Character_B. At any particular level, I'd like to disable xp earnings on Character_A while playing them. In this case, what happens to Character_B? Do they:
- continue to earn level pact xp (i.e. half any xp Character_A would have earned)?
- no xp since Character_A has xp disabled?
- full xp since Character_A has xp disabled?
- some other option?

Thanks in advance!
17. Favorite: Cimerorans. Background and look go a long way to making me feel immersed in the game. I don't care if they can beat me six ways from Sunday most of the time (they do hit hard). They're in-game footprint makes them my fave.

Least Favorite: Tie between DE and Knives. DE are just a royal pain in the [censored] with their eminator drops. Kill one Cairn, drop another, repeat. Have two groups on you? 2 Cairns and all your attacks are reduced to wet noodles. Knives, seriously, the caltrops are completely ridiculous. I have, in all seriousness, been on a mission with an 8 person team and (not tanking!) been hit with 7 applications of caltrops from them. It's both their ability to do that, and my character's inability to move through them. "Oh, look, lots of pointy metal, I'll just run over them reeeeeeaaaaaaaallllll slooooooooowwwwwww instead of getting out of them." And for a character that has metal boots, would I even feel them?

Honorable Mention: Wailers. They just freak me out.
18. <QR>

Very strange. So, on a whim I decided to move the slider around in the Options menu. Upon doing that, then the popup tray takes on the windowscale I have defined there, but not before. Strange.
19. I can't seem to windowscale the pop-up trays we get when you click the little "+" icon next to Recipes on your tray. I get the tray just fine, but it doesn't seem to adhere to the options I have setup for windowscale and I can't directly use the windowscale command on it (command has no affect).

Is there a different way to affect the scaling of said trays?

I see a lot of ppl slotting FR w/the Achilles proc. Does that actually work out?

[/ QUOTE ]

Mine really isn't that tight of a build. Looking it over, I don't see where I'd toss the extra slot. Maybe in O2 Boost (right now it only has the default slot). Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

To me, this is really an "invisible" proc; you never really see it happen, but you know it's firing from time to time.
21. Long time player of an Ice/Storm, and here's my current slotting for a lvl50 Arctic Air (5 slots):
Malaise's Illusions: EndRdx/Confusion and Chance for Psi Damage
Coercive Persuasion: Confusion/EndRdx
Perplex: EndRdx/Confusion
Cacophony: Chance for Energy Damage

For Freezing Rain, I went with 6 slots of:
Achilles' Heel: Chance for Damage Resistance
Undermined Defenses: Defense Debuff/Recharge; Defense Debuff/Recharge/EndRdx; Recharge/EndRdx; Recharge
Touch of the Lady Grey: Change for Negative Energy Damage

The point of this slotting was maximum recharge. FR is pretty debuffing on it's own so trying to make it available as often as possible was my intent. Also, the procs are fun to have for a rain power that is cast every fight.
22. I've been seeing this all day. Basically, on the main page many forums are randomly saying "New Forum" where it would normally be telling you the latest post information. Also, a couple of replies, posts in threads that I've read are missing. They don't appear to have been mod'd, just missing.

Anyone else seeing this?
23. If this was a change done recently, I totally missed it. However, I just noticed that the Talos Island Base Portal has been moved from behind Citadel to behind Luminary? Is that right, or is my client sync'ing really badly tonight?
24. I reported this issue today via the NcSoft support page. The first response they gave me was that they needed to verify that I am indeed the owner of the account to which I am logged in as, asking to verify such things as home address, all of the unique serial codes I have on the account, what is my credit card number, etc. That seems very unlikely to be "real" support to me.
25. I know there is a cooldown on earning reputation from defeating the same PvP enemy within a certain amount of time, but I can't seem to find what that amount of time is. Is it 10 minutes? That is sticking in my head for some reason.
