I then got my hands on a ZX81 kit (yep build it yourself) 1k of ram

My parents bought me a 16k ram pack for christmas.

I have played CoH/V on and off since it was first released in US servers and never had a problem until a few days ago, when I reinstalled the game for the first time in a PC with Windows Vista. Now the game crashes regularly, sometimes even forcing me to reboot the system. Crashes occur while handling lots of information due to a massive fight, or as I solo 2 or 3 mobs. I have Vista Home Basic 64 bits, Intel Core Duo E6850 3.0 GHz OCed to 3.83 GHz, 8190 MB, Nvidia GForce 8800 GTX (I have tried every possible driver, alpha or beta, I have seen mentioned in forums concerning CoH crashes, and currently have 177.66), Asus Striker Extreme mobo, 150 GB 10k rpm Western Digital HDs. Everything except CoH/V runs smooth on it.

I'd be very grateful for any clues as to how to fix these crashes.

nope dont think so they normally are hot on at 8 am for maintenance and they always give in game count downs. never heard of maintenance starting at 9.40 am

just got dc'd from union now cant connect at all. anyone else or is it my ISP again ?
