So, I finally relented today and bought some new parts, despite not knowing exactly which of my current hardware is the offending item. Of course, while I was at it, I made sure they were actual upgrades too. :3

I should be back in the game by next Wednesday.

I must also say that having cute Pepsi, cute Kheld, and cute Fald all on the same page is just too cute.

Just for kicks, I decided to try installing CoH on this pathetic machine... Yeah, it was a waste of three hours (install + update download + update install + attempts to load the game)... I could log in and select a character, but loading into a zone? Nope, quarter of the way through the loading screen CoH shuts down. Not nearly enough memory (was watching in task manager the page file use hit the cap). So, yeah, the minimum system requirements of the game listed with the GVE edition in the ncsoft store? Ha... haha... yeah, right...

Seriously, why would I really want to leave right now? Where would I go? Champions? Pff... heh... Aion? Meh... I haven't really looked into it much, but the little I have seen doesn't feel compelling....

*Sigh* But yeah, still no luck on getting my computer parts tested yet... >.>

I think I really should get my other laptop fixed too... but I know I'm going to have to pay for that one. *Sad to spend money on fixing stuff, rather than saving for more dolls* D:

So, some of you may have noticed I haven't been very active in Guardian chat this past week. In fact, you could probably say that I haven't said a single thing. No poking, no nom'ing, no random thefts/replacements... It may seem like a little bit of sanity could be sneaking back into the channel.

How could this be!? Why would such a thing happen?

Did real life pull me away? Was I waylaid by some other game? Did I grow tired of games altogether?


No... its worse...

My computer isn't working. Won't boot. Won't even show anything on the screen. Suggested fixes from hardware manufacturer website don't work. Don't have a second computer compatible with my hardware and only one of my friends might have a machine I can test my parts on to figure if one of them is faulty, as I can't narrow it down on my own any further...

Don't really have the money to just buy new parts and hope it works. Don't really want to have to pay someone else to fix it, but I'm afraid I may have to...

I miss you, Guardian! Here I am, stuck on this laptop that's at least five years old and is so freaking slow. Stuck spending my time watching videos and playing Diablo 2, since that's about all it can handle.

I actually hadn't noticed it on live, honestly. Not sure why... But when running the Kalinda's missions on test today, as well as some newspaper missions, I was seeing it all over the place.

Edit: I noticed it mostly in caves, both the snakes caves and the caves like those in the hollows missions. As far as screenshots of my own:

She is 50 number five. Dinged today during the second mission of an ITF. No screenshot of the glowsplosion, as there was enough going on that I was being a good teammate and was actually fighting instead of keeping a finger on the screenshot key...

But anyways, Yenth is happy I kept my word that she would be next.
