  1. Not really sure if there's a whole big thread on this, didn't see one besides the one on tech-oriented ones, so here I go. Forgive me if it's right under my nose.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with how lame the animations for the judgement nukes were. I was expecting something more intense looking, given that they're incarnate powers and all. These would take a lot more work in terms of animation, and possibly for some, mechanics, but I'd like to see something similar to these. Not sure if any of these have been posted before, probably have.

Volcanic Judgement: Ranged, selectable target AoE.
3-5 bursts of DoT giving the same combined damage as the other nukes, in smashing/fire damage. Rather high knockup, one of the branches being a chance to hold as the ash overwhelms the enemies.

Animation: Your character does a ground punch, and a tremor crack appears leading from your character to the enemies. A larger version of the Earthquake formation appears under the opponent, and magma spews upwards from 3-5 points of the formation.

Gravitic Judgement: Ranged, selectable target AoE

A high amount of DoT, with a bit more damage than the normal judgement nukes. Smashing/Negative damage. A "pull-towards" effect, causing enemies to be sucked towards the middle of the area. A branch with a chance to cause disorientation.

Animation: Your character opens a large black hole about 10 feet above the ground where you selected. Black hole could have crackling electricity and a swirling vortex surrounding a medium sized black orb. Basically, a smaller version of a portal corp portal, minus the metal frame.

    Atomic Judgement: Targeted AoE.

Slightly less damage than the other judgement AoEs, to account for a mixture of both Toxic and Smashing, or just pure Toxic. Branches off for a chance to proc a vomit-animation hold.

Animation: Basically, it's a warburg nuke, with a giant mushroom cloud to go along with it. Nothing really too hard to animate there. Would be good with a "push buttons" animation instead of "raise your arms to the sky praise the lord" animation, but whatever works.

    Telekinetic Judgement: Targeted AoE/maybe PBAOE?

This would be a bit strange, with two separate damage ticks, both a fair time apart from each other, as well as an unresistable AoE hold. (Except by AVs and GMs, of course.) On one hand, the AoE hold tells me it should be less damage than the norm, however, on the other hand, the delayed damage, as well as the very small hold time, tells me to keep it the same. Deals one part Psionic damage, and for the other part, smashing. Not sure what it could branch off into. Perhaps confusion?

Animation: Your character raises their arms into the air, as the enemies are lifted skywards, tumbling around in the 'Ghost widow hold" animation (Without the tentacles). This is where the psionic portion would come into play. About 2-3 seconds later, your character makes a "slam down with hands" animation, and they are slammed to the ground for a fair amount of smashing damage. An AoE hold nuke is a bit much, but it seems like an interesting idea.

    Elemental Judgement: Targeted AoE/perhaps cone.

Smashing(to represent wind)/fire/ice/energy damage. Same damage as the other nukes. Small (10%) chance to cause a myriad of status effects to your enemies, as your mastery over the elements leaves your opponents beaten senseless. Confusion, stun, holds, all seem pretty decent to use for this. The chance to inflict multiple status effects at a low chance makes this an interesting judgement power as well.

Animation: Your character (for the AoE) does the "raise hands to the sky praise the lord" animation, as a gigantic whirlwind of lightning, fire, and ice appears. For the cone, your character would raise a single hand forward, as said whirlwind bursts forth horizontally from your character's hand.

That's about all the ideas I have for now, might make up more later. Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section, or if I'm not making any sense, haven't slept yet.

Also, if this is in the wrong section, could someone kindly post the link to the appropriate thread so I can post it there?

    Thanks for your time.
  2. I'd like the option to remove the bowl/base completely. I don't think it'd require much work, you can already see that there's a fully formed neck stump underneath it before your character completely loads on the character select screen. Just give it a flat neck cover with colorable/skin color options.

  5. Brute so your burn patch doesn't make everything run away.
  6. Just got Cleo, Frankie, and Monster Girl last night.

But let me tell just one story. Don't take it too seriously.

Let's think you have one favourite radio channel. You love all music they play and you listen that channel years and love about all the music what they play. After the years they suddenly play one horrible piece of music and you think it makes your ears to bleed. Ok it was only one song and that's all. After some time they play it again... Just the same piece that makes you feel really uneasy. So everybody says it's not the new line of radiochannel but you start to think... what if they start to play that kind of music more and more... You hope not but still it makes you feel slightly nervous. What if...
So because titan weapons "reminds you of manga/anime", it's the worst thing ever?

I'm thinking you've never actually read manga, and are just going off people you've seen on forums being retarded naruto fanboys. Or you just don't like it cause it's Asian or something.

Either that or you read Lucky Star and based your judgement off that.

On topic: I'm hoping the set comes out soon, since street justice was a bit disappointing to me.

I'm not much for anime, but that line right there was pretty dumb.

Manga and comic books really aren't that different. One comes in color and one doesn't. That's about it.
  10. I would have liked to have a no brain/no bowl option, to make Headless Girl look better.

    Any chance of getting that?
  11. Surely I can't be the only one who thinks those minions look godawful.

I'd rather skip rib cracker than one of the AoEs. Sweeping Cross will still do more than rib cracker even without combos and it'll be able to hit more than one enemy.

And honestly, I don't feel that 7.5% resistance debuff warrants keeping the power when your other combo builders come up fast enough for it to be a non-issue. Hell, all you really need once you're at a decent level are initial strike and shin breaker.
  13. I use some of those options together with colored ears to make different looking head details, so I wouldn't really appreciate this. Just make it so head details are split into different sections. I still don't know why you can't wear a clown collar with a beard.

I clearly don't care for a cone with a width that rivals shadow maul when it looks like it should be a much wider area.

Make it 90 degrees, then yeah. It'd be a decent cone. The animation just doesn't match up with the arc.
  15. I'd do one of three things to it:

Let the debuff from envenom/weaken stack once with itself

Widen the AoE range from 3 millimeters to 10 feet

Or apply the entire effect to everything unlucky enough to be hugging your target.

Any of those three things would greatly improve the set, without it being overpowered.

A 5 target capped cone with a tiny range that you have to either herd everything up for or line them up beforehand is hardly a room clearing sweep.

  19. Tar patch's bugged out animation in Atlas today.

It's too awesome looking to not be used for anything.

I don't even know what animation that IS. What's it used by?

It's a swirling vortex-like thing. Looks cool as hell.

  23. I must say, I was rather disappointed when I entered the thread.

I don't particularly view it as pigeonholing, simply as...well...simplifying. There's a rather large amount of forums to sift through here on our boards, and to a new, or even veteran player who hasn't spent time on the forums, it's a bit confusing.

Forums should be easy to understand at a glance.
Alright, really, what do you mean?

I can look at the archetype forums and find which archetype I need info on.

I mean, it's listed right there. How will listing them under partially incorrect groups make this better? It's just going to make it more confusing.

If a new player can't figure out what their own damn archetype is called, then they're gonna have more problems than "What build should I use for this?"

And honestly, if someone doesn't know what their archetype is, even if they're new, they're a scrub. Plain and simple.
