I'll see your Manticore and raise you Synapse.

Comment removed by owner cause I felt a bit assy after thinking it over.
  3. Also, think of it this way: Sure, you may end up spending 30% more time on a specific costume set, but odds are, if you guys put in enough effort, 50% more people are going to shell out the money. Meaning more profit for you, and a happier community.

Probably not, honestly. The most you could hope for is continuing the way you're going, but add in 2-3 of the male costume pieces you could see people wanting their female characters to have. Things like the long coats, for example. That way, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to you guys, yet it'd keep most people appeased.

    Witch boot feet.

I get that they're meant to be pointy and witchy, but jesus. They're pretty ugly.
  6. Basically, people just want female-specific costume parts AND male costume parts ported to female body type.

Which would really be fine, since everyone can choose to use whichever gender they want. They won't be missing anything unless they're just too adamant about stacking with male. I still feel that there should be some female-only pieces made, so that a costume pack isn't just the same outfit ported to 3 different models.

In the cases of things that could work for both male and female, like buttcapes, consider making a different style of buttcape for the men.

Honestly, any way you roll with this is gonna piss some people off, no matter what.
  7. Not that this is a new powerset, but the "human shield" power here reminded me of it.

I think super reflexes should have a damage aura that kicks in the more enemies that are around you. With you dodging that many attacks, they're bound to hit each other. Plus it'd make SR a more worthwhile set.
  8. Hey guys!

    Gender equality is here!

I think I did something wrong.

    *edit*

    Oh god.

I'm sorry devs. I'll never speak ill of your costume pieces again.

Honestly, I'd like an option without the front apron, and an option without the cape.

We'll make changes where we are able to, such as the case with the COT revamp. In the event we don't act on it, we still store feedback in the collective data banks for future reference. Just because we don't make an immediate change to something doesn't mean we aren't listening (P.S. We are ), it just means that we didn't immediately act on it, for whatever reason.

Sometimes things take awhile to change one way or the other. Sometimes they don't change at all. Sometimes they change immediately. It's a part of the creative process when working on live product. We are listening and taking your thoughts into account. Sometimes we just have different viewpoint, and sometimes those viewpoints change .
Isn't there a way to just remove the pretinting on the past few sets? It's not just one set, it's what, three?

It'd make a lot of people happy and get them to actually want to use the costume parts.

So long as you guys kept the texture files and didn't just throw them away, it really shouldn't take more than a few hours.

Speaking of which, this is what the claim their reasoning is behind not being able to go under the water.

    Pretty much.

Except that the gunslinger buttcapron doesn't work with the steampunk jackets, which is pretty annoying.

Are you saying that you guys couldn't just go back and remove the pretinting from the sets? You already have the texture layouts. It's not like you'd be creating a whole new costume piece.
  16. Stop this pretinting ****. Get someone who knows how to work with textures and tell them to work on it while they sip coffee. It's not a day-long project.
  17. The part that bugs me about this is that it's just retexturing. It's not something they need a specialized costume designer to work on. All they'd need to do is

1: If there's a portion of the costume layout that is flagged to pretint, remove it and set it to show as the rest of the costume

2: If it's an overlay, just remove it.

It's stupidly simple. I'm 99% sure anyone at the company could do it in their spare time. Hell, I would do it for free if they just gave me the damn texture files and let me work on them.
  18. Also, why do females get a magical floating belt instead of the buttcapron belt for jackets? No sense, once again.

Not a single word. They need to just stop doing it.

I don't understand why they even bother making costume pieces where you CAN'T PICK THE COLOR YOU WANT. Or have other colors forced upon you. It just doesn't make sense. They can't seriously think people want pretinting.
  21. Thanks for not listening to a single word in the feedback thread!
  22. Good night sweet prince.
  23. Yeah, I really don't know why wings aren't allowed with capes. Unless it's to reduce the amount of stress on the server.

Clipping issues are a gigantic lie since nearly all female hair clips horribly with the high collar capes.
  24. I wake up in the morning
And I raise my weary head
    I rush to my computer
And see the pretinting I dread

It'd have to incorporate a rooted effect as well, which they probably wouldn't do.
