Please don't tell me they claimed it was thematic, because heck, a shield with a built in cloaking device makes a lot more sense than hiding by REGENERATING or with ELECTRICITY.

Ninja inadvertently touched on a key point as to what I feel is wrong with this game. Circumevention of mission content is far too easy in this game. This is why I feel that the stealth pool should be eliminated, this would end all the stealth cap-perception nonsense as well as cut out a lot of the ghosting of mission content. I also feel that once a mission is quit, it should be removed from your active mission list and no longer accessable. Anyways .. I was betatesting another recent upcomming Superhero MMO with a few COH players who were trying it for the first time, they did not like it because "it contained far too much reading and mission content that actually required attention". Call me crazy isn't why you play an MMO is because you find the story and content interesting. I know the "MM" in MMO stands for massively multiplayer. The "player" part means you are interacting with the content, so what exactly do you call what is happening here ? Massively Multipassenger ? because you really aren't interacting, you are just along for the ride. I would like to ask all the participants of the 7 minute, or however long the current brag post is claiming, what was the story and purpose of the TF/SF ? I doubt very much that any of them can tell us. There are so many great talents in this community for writing AE missions, I really enjoy a lot of your personal missions, and I am thinking these people are the true PLAYERS left in this game.

PS. I just had a great idea, in AE missions if the mission ends too fast no reward is given, what if they put minimum time requirements on TF's/SF's ? say if a mission gives 20 merits, the TF cannot be completed in under 20 minutes, and if it was completed in under the determined time it would yield no reward. Maybe this would give Ninja his wish for a greater challenge.

It isn't really a question of heals 'sucking'. There are times when you will get spiked by several players. If, and that's a 'big' if they don't have Phase as well, you can Phase/Reconstruction/DP then emerge and keep going.

My Scrap is at around 70% global recharge and carries Phase as well.

You can also consider that getting kills in early, you have the option of Phase if the match/zone tilts go away from you.

The two Stealth powers also allow you to slot additional LOTG 7.5s. Seen my share of Scrapper (Spines/Regen among them) and Stalkers with Phase in their builds. It's really just too good a power to pass up at times, even with the "Phase on Phase" combat.

Comparing phase on a Stalker to phase on a Scrapper doesn't even begin to make sense, lad.

Stalkers key weapon is the aspect of stealth. So, them having Stealth/Invisibility/Phase isn't all that unusual, and is frequently the norm for PvP builds. Scrappers, however, are meant to be more outwardly offensive, and therefore something like phase would inhibit that.

I generally slot Aid Self two heal, two recharge, and two interrupt.

Sundays at that time are a bit iffy for me, so I'll just join in as a member of the sub-pool.

AVs are no problem same with RWZ challenge. Might try the pylons.

Fellow scrappers, I arrive here today to ask what you do in-game to challenge your builds. It seems everything I do is almost too easy. Maybe it's the perma-DP build, maybe not. But I just can't die on my BS/Invuln.

Any ideas as to what I could do that might actually be entertaining?

Pinnacle raised my alcohol tolerance.

I treaded onward, clad in menacing blue spiked armor, towards the exact coordinates I was given. As I came nearer to the site, I noticed something amiss. There was smoke and flames rising from the convoy ship, it had been totally destroyed.

"What in the...."

No hero would do such a thing. This much I know. At the most, they would have taken all onboard into custody, not commit murder and arson. That's my job. As I surveyed the scene, I noticed a familiar cape trailing from someone fleeing the scene.

"Neurotic."

Neurotic was an old ally of mine, but one day Neurotic went off the deep end and started living up to his name. He didn't know anyone anymore, just kept to himself and ran around randomly smashing things and killing people.

"But....wait a minute. Me and Arachnos were the only one who knew of this shipment, let alone where it was."

As I said this to myself, I heard steps behind me. I drew my gun and wheeled around to face the man behind approaching.


"Ygnacio....it's been awhile."

Ygnacio Larwin. A criminal mastermind who has been behind some of the biggest crime waves in Paragon City. He's so good with it that they've never been able to find enough evidence to pin anything on him. They know he's done it, they just can't prove it. He's essentially untouchable. Oddly enough, no one knows a thing about him, who he really his, or where he came from. He just appeared in Sharkhead Isle one day and set up shop, so to speak.

"Too long. What's this you're going on about?"

"Neurotic waylayed an Arachnos supply convoy."

"Arachnos? I thought he at least knew better than that."

"You'd think so. Let's get in there and see if we can't find this hero's body."

We enter what's left of the ship and begin to investigate.

"I'm not seeing a thing except dead Arachnos," I mused.

"Yeah, this looks bad. Real bad. We need to leave, now."

"Good idea."

With this, we left the scene as quickly as we could. Something bigger is at work here, and we need to find out what.
