I seen a post about holding toons at a level for recipes to help the situation with 0 avail on WW. Would this work or not?


Give the level recipe per range it was rolled. So, if i rolled a 35-39 level range for a recipe, don't give me a 50 from it. If i want level 50 recipes, then i'd have to roll the 50 range. Since some recipes stop at 30 or 40, then i'd have to roll that range to get it.

I don't think we should have to gimp a toon to 30 or 33 just to get something in game. Any thoughts?

I havent seen or heard of any exploits in AE and i farm it everyday. I took a toon to 50 in a week in it a month ago. Just farming hours a day. I run +2 or +3 x8 and use 3 accounts so it dont take long whether it's AE or PI. I know i PL alot of lowers so they can get a travel or stamina fast.

The only reason people ever started complaining about AE in the first place was because of the all boss or lt. farms were nerfed. Other than that, AE works just fine. Not to mention, its alot easier to get recipes that people want by doing rolls as opposed to paying outrageous prices in WW.

I agree with you Power. I've been with my wife for 16 years and we're only 30ish. This game has been an issue in the past as i was ignoring my normal responsiblities and she wasn't a gamer at all. Since then, i have grown up alot. Now, i also vacuum. (LOL) But seriously, everyone needs an escape from reality. Just don't let the "escape" become the "reality" and everyone affected will be happy.

I'm a married 34yo male. My wife is 31 and also plays CoH when not at school. We would love to find a girlfriend for the both of us that plays CoH, too. Although, playing CoH isn't a must, just something to have in common to start. PM if interested and we can cover basics from there. East Coast is a must.

Kids R Us.... and have every toon in it at short to medium height with child or childish looks and names and hero themed costumes. Names to be similar to >> Little "enter name here". Just my .02 cents. Good luck with it tho. Hope it works.

I went to the TV today. It just said to go to the top of a tower. Didn't get any mishes.

It was another kat/regen build and both of us were new. I just had alot of sets back then and he had none. SO, skill wasn't evident for neither one of us. We just hacked away at each other. One thing that was really noticed was the movement speeds from mine to his. (he mentioned it, not me.) Also, the regen rate was improved from my build to his. Also the damage. SO, like i said, i can't see where skill makes too much diff on 2 hack toons as opposed to tons of %'s upgrades. But maybe im wrong.

While i am new to PvP, i'd love to duel a SO build just for my own beliefs. I did once and owned him, so to say it don't matter, i still disagree. Yes, you can still PvP, but winning, i don't think so. Unless you're fighting another plain jane build.

I don't get killed by stalkers unless a few hit me at once. I was just curious about the invisi thing. They AS then run. I must really create one and see if it's as boring as it sounds. I was hoping i'd be able to see them with the Perception IO slotted and the targeting drone, but it didn't work. I need to redo the build and see what i can come up with i suppose.

I would really like a good pvp build so i can get into it more but am clueless as to what to PL to 50 real fast to pvp.

I agree with Another Fan and disagree(respectfully) with Conflict here. Without a serious inf. build, you have no chance to win in PvP. Some may disagree, but i have never seen a win come from a SO build vs. a purp or pvp'd build.

I have a kat/regen with every power slotted with anything from LotG, Kin Com, Oblits, ToD, to 4 sets of Numinas. Several 7.5% rech instead of purples for xtra rech. and i have yet to win vs. 2 diff brutes and 2 diff kat/regen scrappers. That is, when i'm even able to get a 1 vs. 1 and not have 3 stalkers just sitting in a zone waiting to AS someone. There's some real skill there.

Which brings me to another question. Why is Invisible on blue not as good as Hide for stalkers? Every time i'm invisi, i am always hit by someone. lol. Is there something that can be used to see stalkers, or is theirs just better than ours?

DO they drop in the arena or in RV only? I've been trying to let my fire/kin afk farm my other account, but i've gotten 0 drops.

Off topic. Kitteh, how do you like the Fire/Dark Corruptor? I made a Fire/Cold and a Fire/Dark but have yet to play them due to not knowing anyone to team with redside.
Both look on paper to be awesome toons but i hate, hate, hate solo'ing. I figure if imma solo, i may as well farm and get paid. lol.

I think it's mental, too. I team with a guy a pretty good bit and when he seen i was farming 49's he ******* the whole time that he was getting level 49 recipe drops. lol. Then 5 minutes later he got a purp drop. I was like, SEE, that 1 drop is worth more than 50 level 49 OR 50 drops. (50 maybe exagarrated, but you know what i mean)
