  1. Thanks for the info. Atm, i have 3 Oblit sets. 2 in the charges and 1 in TS. I think i'll do like you mentioned and place Arma there. Then all i gotta do is get the melee set for CI. Thanks again.
  2. I have a level 50 elec/sd scrapper. Currently his melee def is at 50.3%. I am thinking about swapping a set of Oblits on one of the Charge powers for an Armageddon set. My question is, would i be able to tell the difference in my survivability or would the damage and rech make up for it?

I'm also considering putting a set of Hecatomb on Chain Induction to boost the damage potential on that power.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I'm not a good number cruncher so.... i needs helps. TY again!
  3. Whats the scrapper challenge in rwz? I have an elec/sd scrapper with 50.3% melee def, s&l def is 20%, and s&l resist is 33% and 142% rech. I'd love to try that challenge.
  4. elec/sd. i just hit 50 and io'd... my fave scrapper in 5 years
  5. That's all neat Fulmens, but that's gotta take time also. lol. That's why i'd rather just hop on my /kin and blaze thru a couple farms, and list cheap and sell fast. lol. I don't have the patience to look, bid, buy, look for salvage, bid, buy, craft, relist. lol. But that's me.
  6. I tend to farm more. I don't really care to try to find "niches". I figure if i have 50's, why not actually play them. I know people say they only spend 5 minutes in WW, but i don't see how. It takes me longer than that just to check all the crafted vs. uncrafted recipes i get from farming. lol.

Making inf works either way and i'm not saying farming is better or worse. I just prefer to farm. I've made billions also by only selling and no flipping req. I can usually list everything i get for 222 and net hundreds of millions lol.
  7. I'm not sure about the market>farm unless you ONLY count inf. from mobs. As you can't really depend on what drops, you can depend on getting drops.

For example, my wife ran 4 BM farms in PI, today. She called me all thrilled at lunch. She got 3 purple recipes. 2 A.A., 1 G.A., 1 LotG (def, end), 1 Kin Com, 1 D.W., 1 Sc. Derv., some other crap inv. recipes and several rare salvage including a Chronal Skip, Photonic Weapon, Hamidon Goo. Not to mention the common recipes that sell for 100k per.

Now, i know stuff like that don't fall on every run, those 4 runs took less than an hour. She made well over 100mil in that hour. Monday, i sold an Apoco for 300mil from one run.

We run with 2 fire/kins set to 0x8 and +2x8, tho as of sunday i got an Elec/SD scrapper fully IO'd and he does great! Both charges are up on each mob and def melee at 45.96%

If people would wise up and craft their own recipes, the WW farmers would lose the inf battle very fast. LOL.

    Itf.

Ok. I thought it was but when i asked them, they said not that they knew of. So, maybe he/they were inexperienced.

As far as the insp. go, i think if we're allowed to team together we should be allowed to help each other. But then the influence and all that gets involved i guess. O well. Thanks for the info guys.

    Itf.

I seen people advertising a blue or red ITF in a channel i use. Now, i don't know if it's my imagination but i could have swore i've ran an ITF in the past with some red side toons.

If we CAN run coop, why would peeps ask to join a blue or red ITF?
  10. Since granite doesn't really need any set bonuses for def, look for +run speed bonuses. A guy i team with has a granite that runs 26mph in granite form. I got mine up to 19 mph. It also speeds up running while rooted.

    hami raids?

    Oh yea, welcome back!

    hami raids?

2nd that. Justice United Channel does hami's on both sides, mothership raids, TF's all day long. Family oriented channel also. Great people. Now, with the free transfers would be a good time to take advantage of it. At least 1 Hami per week on the normal week. Hope to see you soon.

I have only tried the toon in farms, but even in the middle of mobs i'm only getting 2 sets of numbers. Not 3. I'll try it later in a normal mish.

    Electric Melee

NM. i had a brain freeze... i bought the purps, but im not 50 yet. I normally wait til i hit 50 b4 i buy them. DERRR. lol. my bad.
  15. Acc/Rech level 40 shows all the way back to sept. That's why when we roll, we shouldn't be getting level 50 recipes on a 20-24 roll or whatever we roll that isn't a 46-50. If only level 50 recipes are gonna be used, we may as well scratch anything lower than 50.

    Electric Melee

Why does it say that it takes "sleep enhancements", but really don't. I bought a set of sleep purples but it wont go into any of the powers. However, under the powers it has End Mods, PBAoE, Sleep etc.

I think if it won't allow certain sets, it shouldn't have it listed that it will.
  17. Supply and demand, i understand all about that. But when i looked to get a couple crafted 40 oblits, the last 5 still had a sept. date on it. That's screwed up if you ask me. If it takes 3 months to obtain 5 sold, i find that hard to place under the "supply and demand" category. On the other hand, if the last 5 sold were within the last week, there's you "supply and demand" argument. Then you can justify placing bids to let sit.
  18. That wasn't a joke about not this year. I hate the idea of placing bids and hoping they fill. Some oblits haven't sold at certain levels since the first of nov. To me, that's a problem with drop rates. Then if multiple bids fill, you're stuck with 3 of the piece at diff. levels, then worry bout offloading them. To much wasted time for me. But that's me.
  19. That's the whole reason i made a fire/kin. Some people say farming is boring, BUT when you need stuff, it comes in handy. If i need some pieces, i jump in AE and get bookoo tickets. If i want a chance at a ton of inf., i jump in a BM or Demon farm. Other than that, i play my other toons in TF's, mishes, etc.

Especially since WW is getting more and more empty in certain ranges and i don't have the patience to just place bids in diff levels and HOPE they get a drop.
  20. Ran it with my wife just now.

SC hit every mob at 719hp and LR hit each mob at 2 ticks. One was 299hp and the other was 210hp for a total of 509hp. Not sure of the diff in numbers unless it's the resists.

But i am positive of those numbers. We ran the whole farm and those were the only numbers that popped up each mob. No biggie, just curious.
  21. I noticed it on the BM farm. And yes, it shows 2 sets of numbers but added both together didn't add up to the SC single numbers. I'll try other mobs and see if i get the same results.
  22. Lightning Rod and Shield Charge are suppposed to be the same in strength, or so i was told. But i'm not seeing it on my build.

    I'm level 39 atm. I have 2 level 25 damage common io's on each.

With build up i'm hitting between 600-700 hp per mob on SC but only in the 500 range on LR.

I was told it was due to Against All Odds because i lead with LR and hit SC while in the mobs. It made since so I turned off AAO and the SC damage was in the 500 hp range and LR went to the mid 3-400 hp range.

Anyone else notice this or are they different strengths? My team member said i didn't know how to add until i told him to watch. Then he apologized and said although i WAS crazy, i wasn't wrong. lol.
  23. I've been getting alot lately through AE ticket rolls. 35-39 Silver and Bronze rolls are usually what i roll. I've gotten 3 dam/rech in last 2 days. If you're on Justice i can give you a couple or run some AE farms with you to help ya out.
  24. Possibly but i havent tried it. Maybe if i logged all 3 of my fire trollers and ran +4x8 i could get one to 20 in 30-40 minutes.

200-400 mil a day is pretty easy given the sell prices as of late.

However, as I do not know if the devs would consider this an exploit, I will refrain from explaining how it works. Oh, and I don't run the samurai farm.

My position on AE is that the developers brought parity between AE and content. There are still some practical differences, which would be near impossible to equalize (travel time, ticket rolls), but overall, running AE is no longer clearly the ideal choice for quickly leveling and generating inf.

I'd like you to join me on a lower level and see if you still believe that last sentence. As far as XP, i can get you to stamina in less than an hour. As far as the inf, i've gotten several ToD pieces, a stamina proc, and more. That's easily 100 mil worth of inf in very limited time with ticket rolls.

On a side note, i took my 46-50 (on a seperate account) within a few runs of 53x8.

My stance is, it's very lucrative for inf and xp given the right situation. Yes, PI gives purples but that's a numbers game. You may run 10 runs and get none, where i can do 10 runs in AE and get 15,000 tickets and make just as much inf. But that's me.
