Its all just the wrong thing to be going for on the one set that got a full chain of 2 attacks . Proc herding is just a gimmick and requires messing up the most awesome chain in the game by throwing in [censored] like boxing, you cant beat SP+Smite+SP+Smite+SP+Smite+SP+Smite.
[/ QUOTE ]
But smite has a base recharge of 6sec if my info is correct, even with loads of recharge that would still not make this a seamless chain. I would have to do some counting but its quite possible that you would get more DPS simply by using Boxing as a filler. -
This should be great fun, hope to see a nice turn-out from both SG's!

Okay, for some reason the blog wont let me post this so its here instead:
Okay has been asked a few times for a simple bind to upgrade MM pets, so here is a pretty simple text files bind that _should_ work. If it dont i have to try it out on enkil and see why not...
Its basicly a 2 button bind, one for each upgrade, using z and x (you can switch theese to whatever you want but thats what i use).
For the first upgrade it is simply, type in the name of your upgrade instead of "upgrade1":
/bind z powexec_name upgrade1
Now for the second power we want it to cast the second upgrade then switch target to next pet, afaik there is no simple way to toggle between pets so i will use 7 simple text files to alter the bind each time. Note that this means that if you lose a pet and need to upgrade it again you will have to do it the manual way instead of using binds, this is _only_ for the upgrading at mish start.
Start with creating a folder "c:\binds\mm" and then create 7 txt files in it named pet1.txt, pet2.txt and so on up to pet7.txt
In my example here i use generic names such as upgrade_1 and pet1 in the targetcustomnext part, theese need to be changed to the name of your upgrade and the name of your pet.
in file 1 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet2"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet2.txt"
in file 2 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet3"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet3.txt"
in file 3 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet4"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet4.txt"
in file 4 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet5"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet5.txt"
in file 5 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet6"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet6.txt"
in file 6 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet7"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet7.txt"
in file 7 put:
x "powexec_name upgrade2$$targetcustomnext "pet1"$$bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet1.txt"
Done!
Start by typing /bind_load_file c:\binds\mm\pet1.txt
Lemme know how it works out, havent tested it myself but i think it should work. All input appreciated, especially if you know a way to make this easier. -
Well, works best when there are alot of betters obviously. But on some really crappy salvage that noone ever buys it sells for like 10-15 when it sells at all. Still, not really any money in it so i just keep selling it for the badges.

The prices are amazing sometimes high and sometimes low, it's quite whacky. You notice it most on the "white" magic salage, Ancient Bones can be 5-10k or you can be lucky to get 300 for it.

I get that alot, i sell all my salvage for 1 inf, and sometimes i get say 300 for it then i see i need it myself. And since i cba to wait around i have to cough up like 5000 to get the same stuff i just sold for 300.
In some salvage cases there is a hug drop between "highest bidder" and "lowest seller". -
Yeah just type /respec to use the free respec.
Also usually its better to use the help channel instead of sending tells to random level 50's. -
Must be uppers then, i dont like downers...
Or is it Viagra? :0 -
One RWZ TF finished!
HP's seem busier then ever now, really nice to see. There are TF's all the frigging time and lots of teaming going on.
Also nice that we do a few TF's "on the spot" not only the one Von plans, sometimes it can get a bit "No TF today we are doin xxx tomorrow" but havent seen that lately. Got a nice mix of new players that are up for most things and old players who know how to do most things.
Joining this SG really made my CoX life so much more fun :P -
Sweet, might decide to revieve an old alt and use my Ice/Kin, would be nice getting exp during a SF for a change .
-
Was great fun and great job by everybody, really happy we made it, and in as good time as we did.
-
I can get that ppl get anoyed with bad players who dont listen, but some seem to think that deats and a wipe = harmageddon. Remember a team i joined once, it was a full team (with me) and i was one or two levels below everyone else. This was a great balanced team who had crushed their way trough previous mish easy, when i joined 3 ppl was on a 5min afk-break.
First thing i do after joining is bodypull a mob causing a wery nice team wipe :P (was watching simpsons while playing and tought they had done some killing already since map showed 1 toon way into the map, stalker ofc).
Thankfully i did some apologies and most seem to take this with a bit of a laugh, but one guy got all macho on me and after some bile-spewing left us. We moved on and did some more mish easily.
Mistakes happen, deaths and wipes are a part of the game even when playing with good players so dont be to quick to judge a team or a player for one mistake. Now two mistakes thats another thingAnd after three even i usually do something

Haha, "Pre-emptive" petitioning, thats just awesome
Whats the average time before an answer so you know when to send the petion? Like 4 hours before start? -
Yeah i can understand most want to use their slots for "real" SG's rather then Filthy HP.
-
I would prefer animals, granted it might seem like more of a "good" power but i could make it work for an evil MM aswell. Dont have all the powers planned out but the pets would be
1st pet: Wolves, standard melee pet that gets a +5% bonus to acc and dmg for every other pet (or atleast wolf) in range due to its pack nature.
2nd pet: Tigers, a stalker type pet that does AS and such other cool stuff.
3rd pet. Bear ofc! With the add off this pet i would like to add a new type of knockback, the side knock. The bear swings its huge paw and sends the foe slamming into the wall 30 feet to its right.
Me like... Gonna think more on it. -
Nice to see some new serious SG's popping up, and a great looking forum aswell!
Got some low level alts, might cya in game. -
PLay Necro/Poison and have taken down a few AV/Heroes, i thik the best set for it would be Thughs/Poison, but judging from all the responces most MM's can do it.
-
Poisons heal dont suck! It heals for less then heal other but recharges must faster so in any long fight it will easily out-heal heal other.
-
Yeah /poison poison trap is a sure skip power, but as someone said we have noxious gas instead.
Would like to see poison trap get a buff so its atleast useful, but not as good as the traps version. -
Never done RSF so might be interested in joining if you need some more meat, level 50 Necro/Poison MM.
Send me a tell if you need me like 20 min before start or so, @Enkil or @Enkil nr2 -
Well cant remember exactly, but he was a cakewalk due to my awesome poison debuffs
Had like a tank... and a scrapper, and a dom i think. -
Yeah it was a fun SF, be happy to do it again sometime!
-
Ahh well, opinions differ then i guess :P
On a side note, i dont really think MM/Brute is that good a combination. This might just be because i have a Necro MM and as such any brute has to compete with my deadboyz for both agro and space up front. Might be better with bots, letting the brute get all the agro he wants... -
Yeah, cant really go wrong with another MM...
But more fun and diversity with something else imo -
Lately i have done alot of duo with a bots/dark MM with my 38 Ice/Cold Corruptor, it works great. I can unleash full ae madness in each fight without any risk. I debuff and slow bosses into oblivion while his bots pummel them, my sleet and snow storm along with his dark stuff makes each fight into a cakewalk.
I would definetly recommend it as a great duo even with a /FF botter.
