  2. ok, I think at some point a long time ago, I primed my UI to a toggle shortcut on my keyboard. Problem is I have accidently turned it off and have no idea what key it could be. Is there a built in command to return the UI to the display state? I really can't play the game like this...

  3. I am building a pair of scrappers, one MA/Shield/Weapon Mastery, and one Electric/Shield/Body Mastery. I am needing help with both, on slotting and choice of IO sets etc. I honestly don't know how some of you manage to get the Inf to purchase some of these sets though. Wowza...

    Anyway, any and all help will be appreciated. The concept on the E/S/BM is the use of Lightning Rod, Shield Bash, and Energy Torrent in conjunction for an Area Offense assault.

    The MA/Shield/Weapon Mastery is a Shuriken thrower, meant to simulate throwing his shield.

    Lt. David Farson was a genius. A member of the Weapon Project, a black ops weapon devolpment project, he had access to all sorts of interesting and important things and people. June 1993 An attack on the Weapon Project labs has sent the entire complex into chaos. In an attempt to help he donned the Weapon One Nanite Suit. He helped repel the intruders, but was trapped in the suit. Marked a fugitive for his actions he has come to Paragon City, where it's people watch out for they're heroes, and a man trapped in powerarmor is not neccasarialy alone. this cyborg is trying his hand at being a hero in Paragon City the one place where any hero is protected by both the public, and the law. This is the one place in the nation his abilities can net anything other then heartache. What began as a ploy to avoid a dark path has lead to the light, and he now serves the people of Paragon City as the Ultimate Armored Weapon One.

Ok, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I honestly think that if you have let your account go lax for more then 1 year, your names should default to "GenericHero #" to free up the names for the rest of us good, long term subscribers, and the new folk that come along. Part of the diffculty in introducing people to this game now, are them being able to find a good name for they're toon.
    As for P_P's idea, I agree, it would be a simple way to give an out to the military and other groups. However, I was in Iraq for 15 months with the US Army and kept my account active, so there is no reason they couldn't do the same.

  8. Why Boxing and not Kick. Is boxing inherently more useful then Kick. Can either be used w/o redraw for the weapon?

    What I want to achieve is a softcap defense, with the ability to solo (PVE). Any ideas out there folks... I really like this character, but I have problems with damage output, and longevity on teams, (I have to rest more often then others)
  13. ok, so I have an idea for the currently useless mission computer in the COH SG bases. What if we made it so that a team leader, or solo character can access a list of available radio missions from the SG base for ALL level appropriate zones for that character. It would increase the exploration of places some people never go to anymore, it would I think encourage people even more to seek out a good supergroup, and it would fix a problem I have with the game, which is explaining to new players which zones are for what level span.

    Idea...

    Ok so I had an idea, and call me crazy but I think it might speed up the AT and make it better all around. What if we were able to change to nova, or dwarf without chaning to human in between. Basically just make it so that while either power would toggle the other off, you could Dwarf -> Nova, Nova -> Dwarf or turn the power off to turn back to human.

    I think it would eliminate a lot of the problems I have with the tribuilds and make it more competitive a selcetion in both PVP and PVE. Also, frankly I think it would make up for our crappy inherent (I can't find teams for squat when playing a WS or PBer.)

    So what do you all think?

  22. Hey all I am stuck at my parents house, (dad is sick) and working on trying to install City on his computer. I ran the installer and cannot seem to install. It says it cannot rename

    As such I am unable to install my game, need my fix, please help!

  23. 30 days?! Why would I want to put one of my heroes or villians on the bench for a whole month of payed play time. This is kinda a VERY long time to ask us to bench any character. And to get teh accolades it is 2 months...
    Now I appreciate teh 24hrs=bar of double XP, although I think this too could be changed too 1hr=1 bar without hurting us, or making our game experience "to short."
    The costumes are unlockable... again?! you have to be kidding... this is the third issue in a role where the costume options have to be unlocked somehow. The first time it was kinda, meh, ok I can manage that. But to unlock these costumes completely, I have to log my character out for 6 accolades! 12 MONTHS! of paid playtime to get all the new nifty costume elements...
    New toons won't be able to dress as a civillian as well as a hero who hasn't been played in 12 months...

    Please consider a new policy to give us the costume elements you guys make... rather then make us unlock it
    Please consider shortening the time offline from a month to a week. Making the neccsary time investment 3 months instead of a year of offline time.
    Please consider that we all have altitis in one form or another, but we also have main characters we want to run through new content and this is a easy way to make that hard.
    Lastly, please consider that we pay for a game, adding content that basically tells us not to play a main character for a year, is kind of counter productive. We will forget nuances of the character, when we log him back in for combat, and we will basically have a shiny new way to suck...

    This is a well thought out system, but I think it needs some user prespective.

    To reiterate,
    Badge Times are Too Long! (how are you planning on testing these on Test... o.O)
    Costume Unlockables are no longer apprciated, some of us want to be able to be the Good Humor Man at level 1. This is definetly a slap to the costume editor junkies.
    This is kind of a slap to badge collectors everywhere.
