I can't see the picture
this was the Prometheus I was expecting

this is not the Prometheus I was looking for
-
I don't use Red Bull. Sure it gives you wings, but they detoggle all of your other powers.
-
it is so annoying when content is challenging rather than farming mode
-
there isn't enough time to play all of the characters I want to play.
fire/rad controller dressed like a carnival ringmaster?
elect/psi dominator robot body with brain in a jar?
elec/elec tanker demon from the Cap power plant?
earth/earth dominator deep sea diver who grows coral?
dark/dark controller voodoo hougan?
I've played them all, but they don't stop being fun.
I'd pay 800 points for another hour of playtime a day -
Facing Skyraiders. Porters teleport away pointlessly, then later come back.
Imagine instead after they teleport away, they teleport a player to them. Probably next to another spawn. That player is probably going to go down.
I could see a "come over here" move with a tp foe combined with an immobilize to teleport ranged players into melee for a beat down. It would be powerful but still within the confines of the existing fight. -
I am delighted that they let us choose what we want to pay for rather than paying for whatever they dream up.
I just wish I could get a few thousand paragon points and never touch incarnate content -
actually barbarian just referred to anyone who did not natively speak Greek

The thing about scrappers is that they are easy. They should be everyone's starter AT. You have defenses and you hit hard. Nothing complicated about them (some powersets have some complications like dual blades).
If scrappers became just the easy AT that you played because you were new or because you wanted easy mode (not god mode) I think they would have a worthy niche. -
I think the devs will forgive you for choosing that name, but next time try not to screw up the game.

for celtic warrior use spirals on upper body - blue
face should be spots - blue
face can be hideous with one bulging eye (Cu Chulain did this)
use a kilt and make green and either blue, red, black
sample dramatic Celt
http://209.160.28.41/ds_img_direct.p...&l1=863&l2=619
for savage barbarian
for face use war paint or battle paint - make it bright red,it looks like you smeared blood down your face
for pattern on upper body try slash - make red for blood, or white which would be ash
for bracers use a blueish grey color for the metal - makes a nice steel look
for pants go with tucked in baggy, then scales as pattern. Brown pants with a light brown scales looks like animal hide/leather -

I would like to play it, but I like to team.
If there were enough players to team there I would do it.
but letting free players access it won't solve the problem.
double XP in Praetoria might do it
but really the problem is that the bulk of players will go where they can team. With Praetoria divided out you will have either it or the lower levels of Paragon dead. The only real solution is to let players go back and forth, but that would be weird with the storyline -
define "free"
VIP's pay each month, so nothing is free for them
they get points to spend in the market for the money they spend each month, so things bought using those points are as "free" as their VIP status.
So either VIP's get nothing free, or they can get the MM set free. Just depending on what you mean by free. It costs them $14.99 per month but no more money then that. -
Quote:Yep, turning my difficulty up will no doubt cause foes to start using Fear and Confuse on me. You got me.This is going to be a general statement that doesn't pertain to just Dark Armor:
If you don't need everything you have, then your difficulty probably isn't set high enough.
Yep, all of those villain groups except Council use fear and confuse . You got me. -
or just turning on an event from last year that everyone has forgotten about (which seems unlikely)
-
1. You don't really run out of END at low levels these days. The AT's that didn't do enough damage got fixed so they can win a fight before running out of END. Plus everyone starts with Stamina. So it just isn't the issue it used to be.
2. Terra Volta is much bigger than the space on IP. You cannot merge the two, you would have to cut TV down to a fraction of its size (which may not be a problem).
3. I also moved to Virtue for the "better" players. I was on Freedom where teams are easy to find - but there is a ton of farming spam and DFB. Virtue seems to have almost know farming spam and the teams are just a bit more interested in the missions than just the XP. It is not a cure all, but it is more immersive and less gamey. -
true, it doesn't have everything
but the only thing I've noticed missing so far is the kb protection
DA seems to have everything, you just don't really need most of it - at least most of the time. -
the simple answer is:
1. don't use IO sets
2. don't play level 45+ teams (that have incarnate powers)
the game is still fun, exciting, and challenging in the 5-32 range
why people play the farming game of the upper levels I don't understand -
Fire gives me the blazing aura for constant damage, a pbaoe attack in burn, and a heal which does not require hitting and does not use all of my endurance (unlike dark), and a damage build up in fiery embrace, and an endurance recovery in fiery combustion
Dark gives me a healing attack, a damage build up based on enemies around me, and an End recovery
I can jump into a mob, hit fiery embrace, then use dark consumption, then drop burn. Wipes out foes very quickly.
With Healing Flames and Siphon Life I can make up for my squishiness with frequent heals.
It is great for soloing and teaming. All of the tricks from Dark Melee with the benefits of Dark Armor without the unneeded stealth, cloak of fear, and massive endurance cost.
I just colored the fire grey and pretend I'm a dark/dark -
shadow shard?
so you'd need a high level on the server to take part? -
Quote:Let me walk you through the stepsThe man is a GENIUS!
Obviously you dont care about them..since here you are..asking how to get them. This thread leaves me shaking my head.
1. I have not cared about Hero Points in the past
2. I needed a -kb IO which I planned to get with Hero Points, so I cared about them
3. I was told of a -kb IO which I could buy with influence
4. I bought the -kb IO with influence
5. I now have no use for hero points and once again no longer care about them -
Quote:I deleted my level 45 with about 11 hero merits. I had not spent any. I just don't care about them.AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
With 200 million influence, you can buy a *STACK* of those IO's. Do *NOT* spend Alignment Merits on cheap junk like that! I put in low bids and let them sit. I have DOZENS AND DOZENS of -knockback IO's in case people in my SG need them. I think my main SG has 40 or so in one of the bins.
