This is a big issue for me in AE arcs. Very few people get the idea that the missions should actually have detail.
Most content in CoX is what I call bookend content. The contact tells you something you have to do, you go do a mission with no details except the plot point (defeat boss, etc) and then the contact says the resolution.
Now bookend content is fine for teams where the goal is just to find foes to fight, but it is lame for solo play where you can have a real story and experience.
The purpose of plot is really to explain the events and motivate the player/character. Arachnos is going to blow up Atlas Park with a bomb, you need to disarm it. It is what you need to do and why.
The storytelling is what makes the actual mission fun. Rescuing innocents, witty banter from the villains, etc. -
I would only buy it if I could customize the color

My second favorite comic ever, independent comic about an ex-gladiator, hard boiled detective at the city where the different realities come together. Guns work someplace, magic other places, but swords work everywhere.
I never see it mentioned anywhere and wonder if anyone has heard of it. -
I'm impressed that something like this was organized. I know lots of people want the badges but skipped them on the way up.

I rarely get above around level 30. The game just isn't as good past that.
So I don't see any reason to try and get past level 30. It doesn't get you into heaven or anything. -
well that answers that

don't they have this in the back of Crey's Folly already?

The only fix tankers need is for Butane's client to just create a brute when he selects tanker and not tell him.

Did a tip mission to rescue the foreign dignitary. When I got to her, I swear it switched to lead her out, then she said since I'd cleared the way she could find her own way out and that task completed.
I thought in the past it was just something she said, now I think the game could tell the path was clear. Is this new tech? Can missions now know you cleared the path and not require the long lead out (unless there are ambushes)? -
I'm impressed she knows the exhaust emote, I know very few emotes

Quote:I would like to see street sweeping give you key missions like safeguards. What about version of Tips/Adamastor's summoning recipe? Like you'd get a Tip/recipe drop that told you thatm, say, a nearby jewelry store was being robbed - going to any jewelry store and activating the Tip/Recipe would spawn a costumed Villain and some hired thugs from the door, kinda like a Halloween ambush.
a chance to find out about a small door mission nearby -

Quote:vet rewards suck. If you are at tier 9 they are great, but if you are not you can't get them.I am ALL for "Death Emotes" but they better not need to be bought with points! Unlocked maybe, on an account-wide basis through some in-game activity... but NOT with Paragon Points.
Maybe add them to a Vet Reward?
You can tell players that they can spend 80 PP to get an emote, or be subscribed for 5 more years to get the emote. -

There was a time (before my time) when street sweeping was popular.
Then it was all door missions.
Then door missions started to include outdoor areas, which added much needed variety and just allowed for telling more stories.
In the game you really only spend time in the non-instance for short periods between missions. Zones can look empty when there are a bunch of people doing missions in it. So they aren't really in the zone.
This question is tricksy because it combines to different ideas.
Do you want to spend more time in the non-instanced streets of Paragon (or the Rogue Isles)?
and do you want to spend more time in outdoor but instanced maps?
I really wish there was more to the non-instanced world. There is so much of it and there is no reason to see most of it except to explore.
I am less fond of outdoor maps. I like them soloing, but in teams they don't work as well. Enemies scatter. Players scatter. There is usually little actual variety in terrain because it is so open. You see trees and cars but they don't really affect the fight the way hallways and doors do. -

thanks, I saw that one but it just looked like a cave map

I suspect that the genetic makeup of Americans changed dramatically around 1974 when the obesity epidemic began. Also people suddenly started losing their willpower.
People will always choose to explain massive trends as if they were simply the result of 100 million people happening to change their behavior for unrelated reasons at the same time. -
Quote:Mr. Burns: I won't get what I really want.Meh.
We've seen thread after thread after thread where we all repeat the same thing. We get tossed scraps and bits, just enough to appease us for a few days.
I give up. They aren't interested in what we really want.
Smithers: No one does.

there are many different shield designs which I imagine impacts this alot

purchasable defeat emotes
robots could do the power down
ninja's could disappear in a puff of smoke
jedi could just leave a cloak behind -

Glad it is useful to you. I have found leveling up in AE arcs to be fun and different and hoped others could see some of the great content people have made.
