The Unborn Conspiracy: The Council of Thorns 5381
Rating 2 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Thugs/Poi MM on diff 3.
Overall I did not find this arc fun to play. The first two missions are fine, but the third mission gets very tough and the storyline becomes so confusing and complex I actually gave up trying to understand what was happening. Contact dialogue starts off good, but then becomes a jumble of stuff that almost sounds like three different stories. There are some spelling and grammatical mistakes, lead in to mish 2; cooperate is misspelt, disagrees is misspelt and "As you" is typed twice. Custom critters looked great and were fun to kill, but they get forgotten in this disaster.
Mission 1 get the energy blocking device, kill boss. Nice and fun.
Mission 2 rescue Shadowwalker, kill Mendior. Nice and fun. At this point everything makes sense and I even know why the CoT and the council are cooperating.
Mission 3 i read the contact dialogue going in twice, im still not sure what she said. Great beautiful map. EB at end overpowered. Extreme bosses passing out SB to other bosses and an EB is not a fun challenge, its a death trap.
Mission 4 another overpowered EB and some Mulch (which were cool), until each of them alone kills you in a second.
This is a good arc for a large team that doesnt read contact dialogue, who like pounding on tough AVs, on a low diff.

Death to Disco 84420
Rating 4 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this is a solid arc. It is fast and fun to play. Someone has changed the past by kidnapping President Carter and now Disco has never died. I had to fix history, kill the bad guy and make sure disco dies and rock survives, a great idea for a MA arc. Custom critters looked ok, but were fun to kill.
Mission 1 kill a thousand Crey Voltiac Tanks and a boss, rescue Pres Carter. Carter found his own way out (Thanks!).
Mission 2 Kill Dr Disco, click some glowies. Dr Disco threw a safe at me! A safe! A huge solid steel safe! Almost as tall as I am, anyway, he died.
This is one of those fast simple arcs that is so fun sometimes you want to go right back and run it again. It feels good to know you helped rock survive. Give a quick reread to contact dialogue I think "sauer" is called "fever" (or i misunderstood).
Why not five stars? Custom critters were ok, not great. Should disco queen really have better D than Kung Fu fighter ? Contact needs more rock references; "$name its time to 'Fight Fire with Fire'", "$name you've got to go back and save Carter, I'm 'Goin off the rails on a crazy train' here with all this disco", and Dr Disco "$name 'Welcome to the jungle baby, you're gonna die".

Jenkins Guide to Super Villiany 84008
Rating 5 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Thugs/Poi on diff 3.
Overall this arc is great. It is humorous and lighthearted and keeps the tempo and the excitement on high. The Contact dialogue is excellent, the funniest I've experience in MA. The missions are fast and simple. The enemies are tough, but not ridiculous.
Mission 1 open some crates, kill a boss, stock CoX mish. Arachnos are always fun to kill.
Mission 2 get a book and kill the boss. CoT are fun to kill.
Mission 3 get the glowie kill some guys. Council are dull to kill, but Presidents are mean.
Mission 4 kill the boss that you wish you had killed three missions earlier.
This arc deserves five stars because it is fun. Contact dialogue is very funny. Missions are simple and straightforward. Enemies are fun to kill. Arc stays focused.

The Infernian Invasion 98299
Rating 3 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this is a fun arc to play. It centers around a new custom enemy that is trying to get a foothold in the Isles and includes some of the patrons. Contact dialogue is well written and the custom enemies were very good. I thought the arc started off well, but went downhill.
Mission 1 was probably the best of all. It is a defeat all on a small map that has you killing custom critters that look good and are fun to kill.
Mission 2 was near impossible to complete running solo, but clearly this arc is for teaming and so it is all good. Again small map, simple objective, excellent boss to take down.
Mission 3 was disappointing after the first two. There are two very tough EBs to kill, niether of whom were mentioned at all previously and they are set to run after a certain amount of damage. In mish dialogue ok, not great.
Mission 4 is kind of bittersweet. The map is great (a rarely seen 5th Column map) and the ally is very useful. However, the 5th Column were quite dull to kill after two mishes killing the Infernian guys.
I liked the contact and her dialogue is a good characterization of her. The maps were all quite good. The custom critters were good. The Infernian War Monger looked great, he was one of the best custom critters I have ever seen.
Why not five stars? The last mish is a kind of love/hate mish, I love the map and the ally, but the 5th Column and the double EB were strong turnoffs, the last mish of an arc should be the best not the worst. I would have liked to have seen Magmus. I know this is the first part in a longer series, but I would really like to see the guy that started this whole thing and that I hear about the whole time. Five EBs in four mishes is too much for me, clearly this is intended for teams, but still 5 very tough AVs in 4 mishes is going to annoy even the best of teams. Custom critters were much more interesting than the 5th Column and they're not in the last mish, that's disappointing. -

I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Thugs/Poi MM on diff 3.
Overall this is a good solid arc. It is fun to play there is a varitey of stock CoX enemies to kill and it is story driven. A custom ally group is introduced, and honestly (except for the EB in the final room) they are pretty dull. The story is well written for the most part and the contact is not long winded.
Mission 1 remove Ritki from the offices, shows promise.
Mission 2 is a defeat all and destroy Ritki bombs in the sewers, this map is big, but since there are a lot of objectives it was fine.
Mission 3 ends with a great battle against a CoT Mage. Watching the Ritki and CoT battle each other, is cool and both groups are fun to kill. I would have preferred a slightly smaller map.
Mission 4 is the best in the arc. The final EB is tough, but not ridiculous, she looks great and is fun to kill.
This arc deserves a very high rating because it is fun to play and the story is solid. Each mish is slightly better than the previous one, a rare and wonderful thing. There are several great little tidbits that are revealed over time, the black feather, the vial, etc. I would play this again on a team for sure.
Why not five stars? The custom ally group is quite dull. Their look and how much they participate in the arc, they could have not been there at all honestly. There were a few (rare) pieces of dialogue that made me go 'huh?' "the SMELL of magic" ?
Great job! -
A Tangle in Time 2622
Rating 4 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 1.
Overall this is a very fun and funny arc about being caught in a time loop. Four of the missions occur on the same map and fortunately it is a small map. There is a slight twist in each mish although honestly four out of the five are very similar. The story is well written and the players thoughts are presented as well. The entire arc is CoT and PPD (there are 2 custom critters) and both are fun to kill. Contact dialogue is humorous at times, easy to follow and brief (three great qualities).
Mission 1 kill some CoT talk to a couple of guys.
Mission 2 stuff happens.
Mission 3 stuff happens in another way.
Mission 4 kill Mobiesa (for the 213th time? or did I die all the other times? yea ok it was probably me. BUT NOT TODAY!)
Mission 5 destroy the timestream so I dont have to see this map again.
This arc is fun. The mishes are quick and straightforward. In mish enemy dialogue is good. I didnt notice any spelling/grammatical mistakes at all. It is polished.
Why not five stars? It does feel like the same mish five times. I want more custom critters (three's a charm!). -

The Oblivion Lens 91897
Rating 4 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Thugs/Poi MM on diff 3.
Overall this is a very good arc. It has a well written story and good custom critters. Contact dialogue is good and there are a variety of enemies to kill. Missions flow together well. Custom critters were tough and fun to kill but not ridiculous. Final EB is very tough, but there is a strong disclaimer before hand, so its all good there.
Mission 1 kill CoT, rescue guy, kill Boss. Fine typical CoX mish.
Mission 2 Custom critters look good. Hilfe looks great. I didn't like Kampher; that head looked weird on that body. Dark powers are tough, but fit the story and look of the critters.
Mission 3 Council, rescue Tophat, again another fine mish.
Mission 4 contact says ". . . as much as might kill . . ." needs the word "it" in that sentence. Good mish. Damn that tar.
Mission 5 has a great battle against a tough EB.
Overall fun and interesting to play. Storyline is good. Custom critters are good. Thanks for the gift at the end, that was cool.
Why not five stars? Feels very much like a stock CoX arc. There are no super cool moments that make you go 'all right!'.

Can I ask what specifically you liked about the story arc? I only ask because the other review thread gave it 2 starts because of the "plot hole filled" story arc. You might have played it after I fixed the more egregious plot holes though.
[/ QUOTE ]
The entire story was based on getting back the Oblivion Lens. A lot of MA arcs start off about one thing, then are suddenly about something else, then about someone trying to get it. Your story stayed on focus. I visualized a physical item, a camera lens actually, glowing with magic and its power was unknown to our world. The contact continually reminds me that its the lens I'm after and I have a reason to go back in and risk my life. I had a real sense of "there is something tangible that I needed to recover to protect my world." -

I ran this with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this is a very quick fun 2 mish arc. It can hardly be called an arc because it is about ten minutes long and the 2 mishes are unrelated. It is fun. If you can run it without failing both mishes please send me a PM.
Mission 1 I failed because I couldn't find Manticore. I'm pretty sure he's not on the map. Hahaha
Mission 2 I whacked all the moles on the map and then more appeared, so I whacked them, then more appeared so I whacked them, then the timer ran out. I failed. I'm pretty sure twenty breakfrees is the most a tray can have, since I was held or stunned most of the time.
Both missions are cute and fun. This arc can actually be a good distraction for a team while the leader is looking for more teammates.
Why not five stars? No connection between the two mishes. You always fail. Arc needs a third mish (bad news comes in threes you know).
[/ QUOTE ]
It's hard to find a good open map without any hidey holes to put a bunch of objectives. Mission 2: There are 5 Mole bosses to defeat to "win". Third mission is coming Thurs and will not have a timer, so it won't be failable. Thanks for the notes, though there won't be any connection between the missions, it's just a compilation more than an arc.

Cool I look forward to running it again. I'll be sure to whack all 5 bosses. -

I dream of Fusionette 86187
Rating 2 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this is fun quick comedic arc about a Paragon icon, Fusionette. The storyline is straight forward. The contact dialogue is funny at times.
Mission 1 is the best in the arc. Kill a thousand Crey Voltiac Tanks and get some info. Enemies with slow powers are always fun and challenging to fight.
Mission 2 is very fast and simple. I think it took about 90 seconds to complete.
Mission 3 was very disappointing to me. This easy arc suddenly becomes very hard. The first room is super exciting and yet a complete death trap. It is not immediately apparent whom is your enemy and whom is your friend. I realize this was intended, but that wasn't fun for me.
This is the type of arc that I can see being fun for some folks. It is meant to be run by a team and not solo, and as a team the action would get confusing and exciting. It's not for me though. I didn't find the last mish fun or funny. I had to kill Fusionette (granted they're clones) many many times, I was sad inside each time.
Why not five stars? There are a lot of small grammatical mistakes in the contact dialogue. Way too many to mention, enough even to bother even my thick skin, there are a lot of missing punctuations, singular/plural mistakes, etc etc. Mission 2 is uneventful. Mission 3 forced me to kill one of my favorite characters many times. The in mish dialogue is dull. There was no boss enemy behind it all, that was cloning Fusionette because he was madly in love with her and wanted more of her, or some such. -

Something comes to Yarmouth 58812
Rating 5 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Invul/EM tanker on diff 1 (I knew ahead of time there is a very tough EB at the end).
Overall this is just a great arc. This arc deserves Devs Choice IMO. It starts a little slow, but it grows on you, slowly, like coral. The first three missions have Coralax, which I dont find particularly interesting to fight. However, the story is so well written and interesting I didn't really mind. Custom critters appear in mish 4 and 5 and are fun to fight and have cool powers. Contact dialogue is well written. In mish rescuees dialogue is actually useful (a rare and wonderful thing).
I have friends in Wellfleet so I was eager to get started.
Mission 1 a little boring at first, but then when you see that boss. Wow, looks good and is fun to kill. Ally ok. Is boss set to "Back" ? I might have bumped into him before ally if I had been paying more attention.
Mission 2 i was a little worried when I first walked in, because that map and finding people have a long and bad history. However, freeing the other folks really breaks up the monotony and this mish is good. Before going in here contact says "their wounded", maybe you meant to say "the wounded" ??
Mission 3 Great map. A lot to do while leading Geneva out, but not overpowered, another good mish.
Mission 4 is where the silver turns to gold. Ally is great. Custom critters are great. Enemies are tough and have interesting powers, they are fun to kill. This would get ugly on high settings. Titus boss is fun to kill.
Mission 5 Great map, except its the same one as mish two, I didn't like that. One mutated says "with the ***** gift even we could take 'em." maybe "we" should be "you" (give it a reread, not sure if I misread it). Final EB (really a AV) is awesome. Tough even on the lowest diff he is fun to fight.
This arc is tough. The final EB is extreme and this arc needs a disclaimer (if it doesnt have one already).
Why does this arc deserve five stars? Because the story is great. It is well written and delivers a sense of urgency that is normally very hard to convey in a game. The in mish rescuee dialogue is useful. The custom critters look good and are fun to kill. The story stays so well in line that the issues I mentioned above were not enough to knock a star off this gem. Get a team and run this, it is great fun.
Great great job! -

Facing Chaos 105163
Rating 4 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this is a very well written, well paced action packed arc. There are a few custom critters with a plethora of PVE enemies found together in a unique way. Contact dialogue was good, although a little long winded. In mish enemy dialogue was good.
Mission 1 is a good mish. I believe there are some grammatical errors in the contacts opening dialogue, might want to go back and double check. Riki Tiki Talli was a good battle.
Mission 2 was another good mish.
Mission 3 started off great, a bunch of easy alters to destroy all in a row to get the mish moving. Its a big map and the final EB is hard to find, but I didn't mind much since I felt like i had done so much already. EB was tough, but not ridiculous.
Mission 4 has a couple of EBs and Bosses to deal with that are fun to kill. The Huntress Rip Van Twinkle was very difficult to kill (obviously this arc is intended for teams, not solo; so no lowering of rating here).
The arc uses a bunch of commonly found enemies, snakes, yogurt donkeys, arachnoids, CoT, KoA and others and changes them into seeds of chaos. So you fight them as one enemy group. This was great fun and very creative on behalf of the author.
Why not five stars? Empathy ally was great, I really would have preferred her in the final mish. Map three is a little bigger than I prefer. Contact dialogue a little long winded.
Great job! -
Second Generation Hero 99865
Rating 2 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this arc has some fun battles and a lot of interesting characters to look at, but ultimately the story is disjointed and has no flow. There are a lot of custom characters with a variety of powers that are usually fun to fight. Unfortunately the action is very inconsistent and some of the enemies need to be fixed.
Mission 1 starts off quite well the Ally is good and the enemies are fun to kill. Custom critters look ok. Option ambush at the end is cool.
Mission 2 is a ramp up I believe, it may have loaded bugged but I doubt it. Enemies start off blue and then are orange by the end, that's not good. Enemy dialogue is ok, not great. Gargoyle needs to be fixed IMO. While rooted he moves like a snail, as a range damage char I killed him without ever taking any damage. I thought at first there weren't enough blues left in Paragon to punch through his def, but he died eventually, without ever having gotten near me.
Mission 3 has an epic battle vs Baphomet. He pawned me at first and ultimately finding a way to kill him was fun. Unfortunately he appears suddenly without any earlier references. If he was suddenly appearing to stop me from getting the armor, that wasn't well conveyed, just assumed.
Mission 4 it is impossible to keep Manitcore with you. Its not your fault, I lose him in every mish he appears in. Manitcore was obviously useless.
Mission 5 has a somewhat interesting Ally.
This arc feels like "a bunch of things that just happen". There is some storyline here, but it is pretty thin and many other things just happen in the meanwhile. The Protean Fang and Ripshock look great, but the other custom critters are dull. Orbweaver is too soft, needs some D, or more powers, he was dead everytime before the first Merc even arrived. Ripshock and Suntiger were fun to kill.
Why not five stars? The storyline is not engaging. Custom critters leave something to be desired. A lot of things just suddenly happen. Manticore is useless. Gargoyle battle is silly. -

Speedy's Low lvl Hero Training Service 64275
Rating 5 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 2 Energy/Fire Blaster on diff 2.
Duo first mish, solo remainder.
Overall this is just a great arc. It has no flaws. The missions are fun and interesting. The contact dialogue is funny and involving.
Mission 1 basically sends you to the sewers to do what you would otherwise be doing your first day in Paragon city, but adds some funny commentary.
Mission 2 shows new heroes that Trolls are rude.
Mission 3 has you fighting Lost, my favorite low lvl enemies.
Mission 4 teaches young heroes that they will at some point fail missions. I knew what she was trying to do and no matter what I tried I could not stop her. I failed.
Mission 5 Statesman would be proud. Lord Recluse not so much.
This arc deserves five stars because it makes the most boring part of the game less boring. It replaces the sewers as a way to get to lvl 10 (or almost) with funny dialogue and one enemy type at a time. I became immersed in the story and I actually WANTED to read what the contact person had to say; a rare and wonderful thing.
Great job! -
I want to thank everyone for being patient. I realize I am several days backlogged from the time you have posted your arc request. Honestly that is probably the way it will remain in the near future.
I had time to work on my own arcs and now I am asking all of you, if you have time, to return me a favor. I would like feedback on my arcs. Don't feel obligated to write a full review. A few sentences and a rating is just fine.
Ciblorg Invasion 10445
Scifi, 4 missions (first 3 maps small), two tough EBs, no defeat alls. Can be soloed on the lowest difficulty, but intented for teams. Villain intented but not necessary.
Blondes Revenge
Comedy, one mission, one boss, not particularly tough. Neutral. Gets really fun on big teams on higher difficulty.
Thanks in advance. -
Carebears Kidnap PvP 11548
Rating 3 Stars
I ran this with a lvl 50 Invul/EM tanker on diff 4.
Overall this is a very good comedic arc about our favorite game and more specifically PvP. The contact dialogue is very brief and humorous which I loved. The in mish enemy dialogue is very funny and stays on subject. The enemies are tough, but not ridiculous.
Mission 1 fighting Back Alley Brawler was great fun.
Mission 2 was a very good mish. I thought Sunshine Bear + Defeat all would = bad, but I was pleasantly surprised. The fire imps from the Kin ally aggroed them all. I cleared the map quickly and easily. Great ally help here.
Mission 3 is a real tough one. Tic Tac actually killed me. Its been a looong time since a Invul/Tanker has died. In fact the last time was in PvP, so maybe the author is on to something.
Catfood is near impossible to hit. Even with yellows, capped tohit on BU and 1.21 global acc I missed her a lot. More times than I missed BAB or anything else, ever.
Mission 4 had an epic battle verus Castle while a thousand carebears come to help. Fortunately invinc gets better with more enemies and he went down faster than lonely tic tac.
I hate care bears, if you do to, u will hate them more after this arc. If you survive.
Why not five stars? I really disliked the carebears. I dont like the way they look, albeit very good likenesses, they're still unpleasant. This arc needs a disclaimer, the EBs are very tough. Too many EBs for me personally 4 maps 4 EBs, Catfood seemed unnecessary IMO. -
Arch Enemy of the Imperialist 67098
Rating 1 Star
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Ice/Ice Blaster on diff 3.
Overall this arc is disjointed overpowered and not really that fun to play. Custom critters look ok. There are two defeat alls, without any point in being so. Contact dialogue is poorly written.
Mission 1 is a ramp up. Enemies start white and finish red, this isn't good. There is a rescue ally that spawns a quadruple ambush. Four MMs with 12 energy damage robots is not fun after you've just fought a tough battle. Jonathan needs to be led out. Why? He's got a gun and the building is empty - its a defeat all !! You have to lead him out three floors away through empty hallways.
Mission 2 is another defeat all. Necro/Dark MM on extreme is useful for getting practice breaking out of prison cells.
Mission 3 is simple and straight forward.
Mission 4 includes a triple ambush and an overpowered EB.
Mission 5 has a cool powerful Ally and two very powerful EBs on extreme. After you kill the big bad guy you've heard about since mish one a new guy appears seeking revenge for his death. This is a completely new char and is overpowered.
This is a good arc for large teams that never read the contact dialogue and love pounding on very tough AVs.

Oh, and any thoughts to my other question?
[/ QUOTE ]
Honestly no. Again this was just my gut reaction while playing.
The second mish is long so there felt like a big gap between the rock band dragon allies and the pirate enemy guys. Could the dragons be introduced in the second mish instead? Flow and rhythm are important to me during an arc, so when I see custom allies I sort expect to see their enemies soon after. -
I said:
KoA felt out of place.
Your reply:
Not sure I understand. According to game lore, KoA and Malta are supposed to be complementary organizations. How does their presence feel out of place?
It was just my gut reaction while in the mish. We know they have worked together, in fact Malta is a loose knit group of different organizations with like minded ideologies. So Malta hypothetically can be working with any group in the game. I guess I felt that way because the KoA we'ren't mentioned in the storyline and there are just a few added into an arc that is mostly Malta. -
Save the Music 16460
Rating 4 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Invul/EM tanker on diff 3.
Overall this is a great arc. It is short it is simple and it is very fun to play. Many MA arcs feel the need to make very long 4 or 5 mish arcs that have a long drawn out story and forget that primarily it should be fun. Save the Music does not fall into that trap and it is a breath of fresh air. The custom critters look good. Enemy custom critters are tough but not ridiculous. Maps are appropriate to the storyline. Contact dialogue is short. Most of all it is fun.
Mission 1 is a great mish. Custom critters look ok and are tough. They are very fun to fight because they dont die after one punch, but they are not invincible either. Their toughness and dam output are perfect.
Mission 2 is a good mish.
Mission 3 is great fun. I generally dont like more than one ally as they tend to help too much, but for some reason I didnt mind here. I had a full team by the time I met the Machine.
"if someone gave out SB i'd be able to keep up." was hilarious.
I like this arc a lot. I will play it again in the future on a team on diff 4. It will probably get crazy exciting.
Why not five stars? Some miss placed dialogue in mish 3 The Machine says "nooo i have failed tv" then dies, then says "is that all youve got?" Mish 3 (or mish 2?) is a ramp up; im not a fan of that, their blue when u enter and then orange at the end, thats odd/bad. -
Hunting the Dark Dragon 2922
Rating 3 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Invul/EM tanker on diff 1.
Overall this is a good arc. It is very long and very challenging with great maps, tough enemies and decent in mish dialogue.
The author really took his/her time writing a thorough, well thought out story that includes CoT, Malta, custom critters, Arachnos and possibly a kitchen sink in there somewhere. This for all intents and purposes a TF.
Mission 1 is an ok mish. Nice map and dragon allies are cool.
Mission 2 is a major pain in the BLEEP. Great unique map, but filled with Malta is just not fun.
Mission 3 introduces custom critters that look great. This is probably the best mish in the arc. Great map choice.
Mission 4 is a great mish, albeit tough. I had no issues on the easiest diff lvl, but a team on diff 3 or higher would be wiped clean. Nice little surprise in the story here.
Mission 5 is a good mish, nothing special. A great map but the Dragon was way too talkative. That opening dialogue by Dragon when u exit the ele is way too long. There is a bad command as well; says "$name."
This is a good arc for a large team on an easy diff looking for a long exciting challenge. Honestly tough if its a PUG people will be quitting left and right. Ambush in mish 2 included 2 sappers (and i was on diff 1 !!!). The enemy jokes are usually good. Custom critters look great and have fun powers.
Why not five stars? Unique maps are nice, but long, when u have many of them it makes the arc very long. I was not a fan of mish 2, maybe just my taste, but I felt it was unnecessary. Custom critter allies were introduced early, but enemy CC introduced too late. KoA felt out of place. -
Amazon Avatars 5909
Rating 3 Stars
I ran this arc with a lvl 50 Invul/EM tanker on diff 3.
Overall this arc is ok. The enemies are very tough, but there is a strong disclaimer in the description so no lowering of rating there. The custom bosses/EBs at the end of the arc are great fun to kill and look good. Parts of the story are revealed through enemy dialogue (great). The in mish enemy dialogue is good but usually way too long. I had a real love/hate relationship with this arc. At times I really hated it and wanted to quit at other times I was truly engulfed in it.
Mission 1 is very weak. Contact gives way too much useless info and the dialogue here is quite bad. The CoT mage here is very fun to kill, but he talks way too much. Rescuee says "I owe you words." ???
Mission 2 is a good mish, not great.
Mission 3 is another good mish, not great. Contact gives way too long an explanation as to why KoA chose Croatoa. Is he trying to convince himself? 'KoA are in Croatoa because of its huge magical potential' period, would have been fine for me.
This mish would be better if I was rescuing anything but Malta, malta are evil, i hate them, i say let the KoA win if it means less malta in the world.
Mission 4 is by far the best in the arc. Now all of a sudden this arc is really fun. It was a long wait, but now its worth it (maybe). Avatar battles were great fun. That first one that calls a million reinforcements is loads of fun.
Mission 5 is good, again not great. Archery (lethal) is a very highly resisted dam type in the game making this battle underwelming after great mish 4. I know Archery matches the charac; its just an observation.
This is an average arc IMO that has the potential to be a four or even a five star with some reworking. I would remove mish 1 completely and throw Artemis Avatar into mish 4 (making it a 3 mish arc). The maps in general were a little bigger than i prefer.
Why not five stars? Contact was wrong IMO. Contact dialogue was poorly written and way too long. In mish enemies talk way to often and have way too much to say. Too many patrols for my taste. Maps were a little bigger than I prefer. Opening mish info (box that pops up when u first enter) was too long and completely unnecessary. It is very long and it feels very very long.
