    And yea, but at 1.25 usable def/slot it is way too good to pass up, it is just short of pre-nerf botz and better than just about every other def in set bonuses, plus it's a power I'm going to use whenever it is up anyway, and yea, not gonna put the glad unique in this guy if I get it probably, will trade it for a blue one :P

    Alright, I'll see if I can do that, figured it might be good and I can maybe lose a little regen for it, but regen never hurts on a def toon w/o a heal

We have the same def basically, but you do have a bit more res, but I also have 9.8 more hp/sec regen which should easily make up for the res loss, not to mention more recharge on my kd attacks for more mitigation...but yea, I'm hoping to get decent if not awesome ST damage but not sure if I'll be able to
  9. I've been working on a build for my elec/sd and I can't seem to find where I could make it better if anywhere so I bring it here.

    I plan on playing him in general PvE with the leaning towards TFs, but I would also like to be able to farm to make him some money and to help my SG mates level.

    I would like more recharge to run the gloom, ci, jacob, charged attack chain, but atm it looks like every other attack is going to need to be charged because of CI's long recharge time...

Yea, got a few ideas from fury's builds so far (shield breaker over fireblast with tstrikes was definitely one atm, reason for making me wonder if it was worth it to use also :P), and might grab a few more, but it doesn't hurt to have more eyes on my build (plus now people who stumble across this thread might see them too)


    Also messing around with my build late last night I didn't notice changing from oblit to scirocco changed my def from melee to aoe, that's a pain...
  12. So, a while back I had talked with a few people, read a few threads, and tried out a few builds and figured Fire/SD was one of the toons I was looking for for a long time....(the other is actually turning out to be a dp blaster atm...)

    I want/wanted him to be my best and favorite toon for solo, teaming, tfs, farming, avs, really anything PvE could throw at him, and he is very close, but after playing him more I feel as if I STILL can't see the rest of the iceberg.

    His previous build was sitting at the softcap, 200% regen, 75% rech, 16.5% +dam, 1700 hp with only portal jockey as an acco (only slot in true grit atm is miracle unique ), and slight end problems after firing off aoes then working on the boss or higher. 234 pylon dps was what he was last measured at and even that could probably be a little higher w/o build changes.

    With the upcoming BoTZ changes and the fact that I KNOW he could be better I present my modified build, more hp, more regen, better enhancing in cremate and arguable fsc, better end, but still less recharge, hp, regen, then I would like, plus I still can't take 5 pools and I feel like I really need aid-self for AVs...but maybe the hp and regen will make up.

    Edit: 2 things I forgot, would prefer to stay around this budget, but a bit more is definitely possible and I'd look at all suggestions, but sadly the shield wall global is probably out of my league etc. And the 2nd is I was wondering if Melt Armor was worth actually using dps wise...it is what? About 1.25% -res on a 54 av? Not certain if it is worth that with it's 1.5s cast time, but I'm not 100% certain that's just gut feeling.

    No, it means that if you slot a heal IO into a power with the numina global atm it also enhances the numina global and not just the power

    Just another thing I had to fix in the mids database myself...
