I agree with what everyone has written so far, and i'm adding my own:

It is no shame to spend time around the test server. I personaly got tired of nova and dwarf, and therefore only took dwarf form and invested 2 forms in it so far, just for the 60% resistance per toggle. The Peacebringer's Human Form got a HUGE damage potential comparing to Warshade's controling potential. Be assure that for 40 levels, Shining and Quantum Shield(s), both 3 slotted with 3 resistance and another end reduction has been enough for my survivel, and I abjuct really well: fighting nemesis requires me to run the Smash/Lethal shield(Shining), but if I see a fake nem, my Energy shield(Quantum) will work for just one mob. Only wish i'd have found a better place for Thermal Shield, since its resistance to Fire/Cold is really effective against CoTs and Creys, and more.

One last thing, I have this quote i'm going around with in my toon description: "Kheldian is an art, don't let anyone tell you otherwise". Build your own builds, and advices are enough to make your own build that your fit YOUR playstyle, not anyone's else. My Peacebringer has HUGE slotting problems and I took time to think them through in order to be the best (IMO, of course)

I joined the 1AT coalition 9 days ago, and well... i'm counting the days :P

The idea is to have a 'family picture', not a 'multi-countries/servers picture'. After 6 months, this is my heroic home, not defiant or a foreign server.

Besides, Lag might be too high. If this picture will have a good outcome, we can have another one in test server with everyone else.
In addition, It isn't certian the PDP will be clear of bugs and if it will be live by then.

So a while back I browsed the US forums, and was pretty bored, so I went into 'General Discussions'. One of the posts was called 'I remember when...', in which they all said what they remember from CoH when it was new: the 5th Column, Street Hunting, that kind of things. One guy posted a link: a picture with a lot of heroes.

So, this is 'City of Heroes'. And where are you in all of this? Since it is a City of Heroes, i want to gather all of you heroes into one place, talk, have a party, and more. One big event i'm planning is having the biggest Union Family Picture.

The time is February the 13th (2/13/2006), at 8PM GMT, at Atlas Park. Lag might stop us, but if enough people ignore this, we might have a shot I'll be there as Double Shade, or @Double.
We will gather at 8PM, and at 20:30 we are to go to the stairs, the ones that lead to City Hall, and we will be facing the globe.

Everyone is welcome. There is no level limit, no costume limits. Yes, lag might be awefull, but as long as we don't blast, like at a Hami Raid, everything should be just fine. Also, maybe one of the moderators can show up for this picture.

All in all, i'm planning on a good, heroic evening, with a lot of fun and one BIG Family Picture.

As i said before, Shadow Cloak only need one end reduction. one can go to the Twilight Shield.

Other than that, I really, really advice to 3 slot Dark Extraction with damage, atleast 2.

I would slot both mires with 3 recharge reduction first, you will want them up and running asap, only then damage.

Switch the power choises: Gravity Well at 18 will do you good against voids, since it is a hold power. level 20 brings the dwarf, who got a heal, and 22 brings stygian circle. take the drain at 24.

Talking about dwarf, slot it with 3 damage resistances, and later in the game slot it with 3 endurance modification. the resistance is more importent.

Change the recharge enhacement in Stygian Circle to endurance modification. recharge time is 30 seconds, which is more then enough.

Unchain Essence is like a mini nuke. 6 slot it with 3dmg, 1acc, 2recharge.

Seriously now, Dark Extraction is SO much better then Quasar. i slotted it 1acc, 3dmg, 2recharges. can ahve two for about a minute, and take it at 32, quasar at 35, and Stygian Return at 41.

I only 4 slotted Eclipse. 3 recharge reduction is enough, only slot with resistance if you got spare enhancements, like from the fitness pool.

Nebolous Form only needs one endurance reduction to have it on for a minute with little endurance cost. Same for Shadow Cloak and Orbiting Death.

Slot Shadow Blast with 1acc.

Instead of Hurdle, take Hasten. it will worth it.

1. Recharge rate is truly awesome, from my short runs, its like a personal mini-RA that is more then enough to recover end.
2. They hang around for 1 mins or so, no matter what (unless they go boom boom). Mistake me if i'm wrong
3. Fire Aura?

the other was by myself. the nuke didn't knock back the 4 freak tanks i aggro'd and they had a smash at my shields
was HUGE fun, got something like 3 bars off it.

My first 50 was a blaster, my first character was a blaster, my alts were defenders and controllers, yet now, after having a warshade (more in a bit), I couldn't find a single AT better than my WS, who I also got to 50, and no regrets there. I'm not running my PB through the 30ish.

I peronally went tri-form with my WS, and done no human form blasting. The WS in human form, for me, was nothing but a buff between forms.
Also, I found a great human attack chain with my PB, and it is also nothing like blasting. More like scrappers (with shields) and a few ranged attacks I had to pick.

I did that with my blasters, and I know at least 6 other people who are doing that right now, just to have a kheldian.

I agree. Many people got many different things to make themselves feel comf.

BTW, i've just invented something new: since you can't activate 3 toggles at once, i've created 3 macroes to change to human, one for each shield. 2nd respec? no problem, Human-Quantum macro is on standby. Need protection for wolves? Human-Shining for the rescue...

just the mouse really, all 5 buttons, and keyboard. no ctrl/shift/alt.

I accually use both. got too many powers and learned my leason during the WS power. power trays go soemthing like this:

--tab 6 (peramant powers for all time)
--tab 4 (human stuff) or tab 5 (forms stuff)
--tab 1 (human attacks) or tab 2 (dwarf attacks) or tab 3 (nova attacks)

now I have MOUSE4 and MOUSE5, the ones near the little finger, that changes stuff, via the macroes I have set on the alt tray number 9 and 0. and so, turning off forms and switching on different forms are done quickly with 3 keys

Bringing my PB, level 34, Double Light.

Accually, it is 27.5% for the three shields, which is about about 45% resistance with 3 SOs...

You deserve it dude, just sorry I've missed that - I've done some AVs the day before with a kheldian team
