Anybody else got something? -
I'm looking forward to it also.
Gonna be a great one! -
Yes, there's no reason why several of us couldn't write for you and you take your pick. I should hang out in the writer's section, but I'm mystified by artists. They are holders of the secrets I can't understand--like magic they make something out of pixels or lead and paper.
Post your info and I'll give it a crack--though I'm nanowrimoing at this moment and I have a short story due, I'll give it a go. -
Her pencils are amazing--they remind me a bit of Gene Colon--but still your mom's style is her own. Very cool.
And call her, now! -
I mistook Fire (formerly Emerald Flame) for Mera--an easy mistake except for the hair color (Mera: Red/Fire: Green).
Other than that all of them are cool--I wondered if Hawkman was possible--all of the are great! Applause Applause! -
Wow! Great Start. Thanks LJ!

I've tried trolling for all the Photoshop inking and coloring tutorials that have been recommended on the forum, but have had little success. Is there a single place for them? If not, could you post them to this thread. I have an artist friend who has expressed interest in doing this. I've always enjoyed her artwork (she majored in printmaking at college (back in the dark ages) and has a great style that would benefit from adding these techniques to her skill set.
I know you will all respond, because you are one of the most giving communities I've met on the web (and that's saying a lot considering how long (*cough* years) I've been doing the online thing (Hint: Mosaic didn't exist when I started).
I thank you all in advance. -

Very nice LJ! I love the color test on the bruiser! You outdo yourself each piece you create. Pretty soon I won't be able to come up with enough compliments for you!

I'm speechless. Such talent and generosity. Very truly an unexpected bit of extreme coolness.
Thank you seems inadequate, but I'll say it anyway.
Thank you. -
Okay, two totally new concepts and two revamped ones:

Tiorse (Brigid Kathleen O'Dea) Her Parents died in a tenement fire when she was 12--her newly manifested abilities saved her. It turns out the building was burned by the owner for insurance. This shaped her life in two ways. She began using her special abilities to hunt out those who evaded the law. She also studied to be a lawyer and would eventually serve first as an ADA and then as a District Attorney proper. She's all about putting the bad guys away in whatever way is necessary. -
Gratz on the excellent Logo--great work. And then your response--just awsome.

LJ is right--this is gold! Great Idea and excellent execution.

I've seen style like this before, and it is difficult to make out without color, plus the green in this one really confuses things. However, that being said, it is gorgeous line work and will be unbelievable fine when colored--or simply inking it would bring a lot of the detail out.
