These sketches are the ultimate example of why gesture drawing is important to artists. Beautiful and dynamic, all of them.

My thoughts perzactly! -

That's a really cool combination of colors -- I'll put my old thinking cap on for this one.

Thanks, I thought it was a pretty neat challenge. It's an interesting power set at the very least. -

Now that is sweet! Love the expressiveness of it. It's really great stuff. But I do gush. I'll step aside and let someone else praise it now. -
2nd image is my fave of the three--but there's a playfulness that comes through all of them that I like. Keep up the good work.

I think folks have been waiting a long time for their artwork and really aren't liking the lack of communication....which is understandable. Let's also keep in mind that up until 2 months ago Jomaro/GIll was posting new artwork on his site, and folks were thrilled at their pieces. So it's only been 60 days since he posted anything new and has been having trouble keeping in contact.
We don't know what's going on so without a message or some kind our minds wander and jump to the worst. So right now everyone who has a commission is in flux and we simply don't know what's happening. All we can do now is wait for a answer of some type.

Yeah, I think that is where the problem lies. It's been stated again and again that people are confused and "bothered" by the lack of communication. We all know, there is NO problem with the quality of art that he comes out with.
This thread does not need to be about lynching Gill... nor does there need to be any name-calling and such. But if people want to chime in and say "hey, I've paid for this piece months/years ago, and have yet to hear anything back", then I think they're within their rights.
It's a fairly supportive community.. and I've always liked that about this forum. But that means we support ALL of us, artists and collectors alike.
If some collectors are feeling out of sorts, I'm cool with them posting about it - so long as it stays civil and constructive.

Well said, and worth repeating. -

Awww, thanks. I do what I can ^.^

It's true, you were an absolute joy to work with--great final product--and giving the commissioner something they would like was foremost in your mind.
I've only paid for one other commission myself and that was Alex--and he too was great to work with, and we can all agree on the quality of his final work--I'm certain of that.
Thank you again Wassy. Your piece is hanging over my desk with my other heroes. -
I think they're all great, but I love mine the most. Thank you Torroes, this is some heavy cool.
Just to note: Mine are DeWayne and Todestraum. -
Losing the money--really bad.
Losing the money and the potentially awsome art -- just plain unforgivable.
It's more than a business around here, because a lot of the clients also considered themselves friends--their mistake I guess. I don't see how the MMO crew can salvage this. They've burned clients, which is bad, but even worse, they've burnt friends and that's the worst of all.
