Yay for the new rig!
PLEASE NO MORE DOGS. there are plenty of other animals with four legs. cats are a nice branch you've started on. [tigers? panthers? cheetahs? something more exciting than a lion? eh? eh?] but dont forget pachyderms, ungulates and artiodactyls! [although they do walk a little differently.]
Things that would be great:
- With the upcoming dinosaur pack, some DINOSAURS [stegosaurs and triceratops come to mind with the four legged rig, though i'd reccomend styracasaurus and miragaia] and Mammoths on *Monster Island* cloned by Crey for who knows what.
-a zoo added to a zone with a couple stationary npc animals of interest... or place a couple attack animals in the Carnies villaing group. tigers and... if you must have more dogs... poodles that maul would be nice.
-gryphons, dragons, mythical creatures. use the dog body, give it a new skin, new tail, lizard head/bird head, and tack on some wings, horns maybe. dont need it to fly, just look neat as it follows meh XD

howcome the tsoo have some long skirts, and the MM pet has long skirts still? PLEASE DONT CHANGE THAT... but they seem to look great and perform emotes and attacks and endure ragdoll physics just fine XD

also, the arachnoid pieces. and Devouring earth pieces please. razorvines and bedrocks too XD.
also, dont Wyvern have quivers? yes. arent quivers probably the easiest backpiece to make? yes, especially since they exist already. when did back options happen for players? a long time ago [capes and wing actually... could have had 'backpacks' then, right?] i really hope quivers aren't only being held off so they can be in some medieval pack for moneys, especially since that is THE MOST requested back piece and has been since we could shoot arrows :P.... and i hope if it is held off for profit and we only get one quiver model on top of that... i would be very angry. XP
anywho... banished pantheon pieces costumes/weapons would be lovely. especially the masks as shield options.
also, i would ADORE the chainmail skirt my zombie wears.

minotaur loincloth.
hellfrost and behemoth parts. even the non-flapping wings and funny loincloths.
carnival strongman helmets and codpiece-belts. carnival corsets.
cimeroran foot wear and forearm wear. also, the ability to divide the toga into separate tops and skirts for all body types, in addition to the unique top one piece it is now. and everyone longs for the sybil outfits and would gladly reduce their own performance to wear them, and if they do get ported i would really prefer for something similar to be added for males. I have several that could benefit from either the long loincloth or the arm scarf, or the split-toga-top.

what would be awesome is to have everything of these tied to badges pertaining to the NPC or group. -

I have a couple Aura Ideas
Hair Aura - an aura placeable mainly as "hair", "tail", "arms", "calves", "hair and tail", "hair and calves", "hair and arms", "hair, tail, calves, arms"
-->would be an aura similar to tendrils but updated, and would be kind of like... well... billowy hair ish, hair option would avoid the face and trail behind and down the head in space, avoiding the face [unless running backwards]. same with tail option, but on yer bum. arms and calves would have the same fx obvi, but be placed mid limb to look like billowy fur cuffs [and could make any boots fuzzy and warm ^^].
think... Xmen's Storm or Inhuman's Medusa hair, or Titan's Starfire Hair.
Tentacle Aura - unless someone puts four tails re-skinned as tentacles onto a backpack option, perhaps it could be a body aura with tentacles popping out in various places. colored could be squid[actual, not kheldian] like, blackened could be inky.
Vine Aura - like tentacles but vines with leaves. would be neat if it looked like they shot outward and wriggled, and some downward and into the ground.
and yep, i see these in my head as auras, not actual models [though the last two could maybe be backpacks of a different sort.]
oh! and of course... the Whirl Wind path aura. something windy, path based, tintable, and doesnt require me to spin constantly XD.

Storm control has a similar set of toolbox powers. But the thrill of storm summoning isn't the particular usefulness of the powers, but the feel of the powers. When you let lose Hurricane and Tornado and Lightning Storm, you just feel like you're indestructible. Though those powers can be a tad bit annoying for a group, they both feel powerful and are powerful. Hurricane can easily be slot for enough -tohit to let you tank as a troller. Tornado can either scatter aggro and mez enemies, or it can do a ton of damage when paired with -KB or against EBs and AVs. Lightning storm throws enemies about, does damage surprisingly quickly, and can even mez when paired with the right procs.
Combine that with Freezing Rain and Steamy Mist, and to enemy groups the Storm troller/defender/dom must look like the angel of death.
i LOVE storm. half my toons are storm, i cant help it. i play ranged/support/control and i somehow end up coming back to /storm despite it filling all my slots already. i just wish gale [and force bolt for that matter] had a tiny tiny bit more dmg. but what evs. now i'm just waiting for a wind blast set to pair with it instead of ice or sonic. dark control/storm will be my new love.
otherwise i play doms and /thorn is AMAZEBALLS. but not spines, it just isnt the same to me :/ -

Level 12- Motion Burst- A TAoE power that allows you to shoot a bullet, arrow or blast at one foe or group of foes but makes them think it either missed or was aimed for another foe or group of foes. Causes -to hit, disorientation.
Level 18- Motion Melee- Allows you to engage one foe in melee and move on to the next foe while the first still thinks he's fighting you. This would keep the first foes attention on "you" so your team can attack him with getting aggro. It lasts for only a few seconds before the foe realizes what has happened. Foe: Distract.
Level 26- Group Camouflage- Allows you to camouflage the movements and attacks of all teammates within Melee distance of you for at least 3 seconds.
Level 32- Motion Camoufage Attack- Similar to the level 18 power but on a larger scale, this allows you to seemingly attack 3 to 5 foes in melee range at once without gaining any aggro from others.
What do you think. More of a primary but could be a secondary set.
this is a neat ideasort of like "Illusion Assault". would pair great with illusion control if it ever gets tweaked and ported to doms. otherwise, tweaked to be a blast set or defense set...
what kind of set is it? XD for what AT? haha still it is really a neat idea to pair against Illusion control. -
quivers need to be in the medieval pack, they have been one of the highest requested back detail items evar. also, i would prefer back tentacles to face tentacles. even if it was a cape sort of.

maybe a bird TAIL and feather fringed gloves and shoulder pieces for that matter. 2nd animal pack maybe? with elephant, rhino, bear heads. also, the option to ADD A FEW DETAILS like horns, antlers, the wing details, antennae. also, the option to put the fish head fins on regular heads... a snake head. [c'mooooonnn]
and yea, insect would be an awesome pack with Moth wings [more squared and fuzzy. think Mothra], dragonfly wings [the ones we have are in-between a number of insects, which is great], extra legs in the belt options and a small/medium extra body segment in the tail option. BIGGER insect eyes. chilicerae. a :silk spewing: power [knockdown, hold, immob, or slow] to mildly satiate those hopeless web slingers.
an alien set to pair with the new sci-fi set if it doesnt have any alien options. new alien heads, tentacles, monstrous legs, creepy hands, etc. non combat pet.
a new plant pack. tree branch weapons, leafy sticks coming out of all the details: belt, shoulders, head, gloves, boots.
a new elemental set with windy, transparent, watery options [though the new fire/ice pack is awesome and sorta covers some of that.]
buttcapes.
long hair for males.

i would kinda like to see the option to pick a strength and weakness to certain damage types, and perhaps to other origins.
but again, some people would hate that. also, origins dont exist in AE [unless it has a default origin?], so that might be a problem. and then enemy groups would have to be assigned origins [which might be easy]... but idk -

Secondly, the 'hang on' power: There is no way to do this. This is part of why you cannot ride moving vehicles or the Atlas blimp: there is no such thing as a moving platform, or any gradual movement aside from the player's directional input. (Like no handshaking/highfive emotes even. all stuff is limited to a give/receive interaction of independent animations)
Perhaps there's a bypass to allow the second player to have their movement mapped by the first player's movement, but that seems rife with connectivity error possibilities. Also, there are no powers in the game that has any prolonged interaction between to characters.
I'd love for swinging to be allowed, but it pretty much comes down to awaiting CoH II and a system that can handle (a) surface mapping for more than just "floor' surfaces, with full collision detection on walls/ceilings, (right now only floors can be navigated, walls/ceilings are merely 'barriers') and (b) automated pathing on the system's side that can be applied to players' characters.
so in the current engine, the best you could get maybe it would look more like another teleport, right? you could slow the casting animation down to shoot a grappling hook to the surface based target [right now wormhole for example works on walls and ceilings and floors], but then the tp wouldnt have any sort of swing really. you could sort of make a yank, but it'd still be a TP like shield charge... leaving you at the target, rather than using that as a swing-from point.

I know the poll is long closed and the thread kinda done but...
I LOVE the new look for Diabloique. [except why are all the new ladies so scantily clad? XD]
But i'd say my favorite female look would be [in no particular order] the new Diabolique, Ice Mistral [except she needs new hair] and Belladonna Vetrano [has perfect hair].
Favorite Males are Synapse/Neuron, Woodsman, and Scirocco [but the last two have yucky faces IMO].
I would really like to see a battle image of Scirocco and Ice Mistral versus Borea and Levantera because they are all tied by Lore and are pretty interesting characters from the little bit of backstory we do get. -

it would be nice if there was an "Add NPC" button that would open a window with tabs similar to the "Place Items" button and window and the tabs would mirror "Arcane", "Tech", "Sewer" and add "Metropolitan", "Mutant", "Elemental" and "Historical" and within each tab would be different types of NPCs, but each tab would have some for each function.
rooms could have an NPC limit, and the base an overal limit also.
...
also, something targetable like the warzone practice dummies is something ive been wanting for a while now. loved it when the items were bugged and i could target them. snowstorm in my base really sets the mood for it's theme XD -
a good suggestion has been a Devouring Earth lore tied shape shifting EAT for Praetoria perhaps.

you have some great ideas!
but this AT seems to have a lot of powers available [which would be awesome but i dont think the devs want us to stray so far from a basic two powerset AT.] the set selection follows the other meelee ATs with the addition of archery, and then has an inherent that grants a large number of additional powers which breaks the precedent [not saying that a new AT cant] of just a single inherent with maybe also a bar. Yes, MMs and Khelds break this precedent as well, but their inherents are travels [which you did include] or pet commands. The suggested AT has non-puchased transforms with power grants in addition to the travels. Tho i am curious as to your suggested levels for the Inherent Transform power unlocks. 50 seems like a long time to wait for a AT tied power. or one that isnt... Incarnate XD.
while the EATs have a larger power pool for both their primaries and secondaries, yours is not an EAT [also tied to Lore], so it would probably look more like the other ATs in format.
but i do adore the idea and would really really like something like this to happen, a shifting set or AT or EAT. and i would really really like those ancillary pools for existing ATs. -
EAT from the other thread, these were my suggestions to the OP, but sharing here bc of the new AT suggestion:
i would adore an AT or a set with a transform ability built like "hide" in that can be customized [if one set] or has powersets that correspond to each type of transformation [plant, elemental, demonic, celestial, robotic, shadow, etc.].
if it were one powerset, i would suggest like mentioned already, one built in transformation power filling out a self defense set, given to the meelee AT's. if it were a new AT, or an *EAT* with built in variation, i like your suggestion of a larger set of abilities, but you make it sound super complicated XD.
i see the primary powerset would be it's transformation set with related assault/manipulation attacks, with primary power choice being what "type" of transform you undergo, and your "transform power" working in conjunction with a bar similar to domination. [you can only transform after X amount of ...whatever... for X amount of time] the primary powerset would contain one or more "transforms" and within that transform[s] would be powers to be used only when shifted [like khelds], some auto [like khelds] and some to be purchased further on once a type of "transform" [plant, elemental, cyborg, etc.] has been selected. the other powers [two or three] in this set would be basic combat attacks to be used when not-shifted. these non-shifted powers would be put into the set similar to how a MM's set is devided.
example:
1 - brawl/kick[example of unshifted attack light]
1 - Transform* [grants attacks: 1 ranged single target, 1 ranged cone, 1 immob, and 1 meelee attack][toggle transform]
2 - air superiority/jump kick[example of unshifted attack medium]
6 - Empower Transformation [can only be used while transformed. adds ranged AoE or pbAoE, hold, meelee attack to transformed state][toggle, no endurance cost, but individual powers have end costs.]
8 - spinning strike/dragon's tail [example of unshifted attack medium aoe]
12 - build up [short bonuses]
18 - Altered State - [[adds a path aura fx.][toggle] can be used while both shifted and unshifted. grants minor dmg pbaoe]
26 - Spawn Formling [spawns one temporary pet depending on your transformation, imp, tornado, water spout, animate stone, shade, seedling, robot, etc.]

the secondary would function more like an defense set, like you mention lol, but i would tweak them to work better when you are actually transformed. i would also go ahead and give the elemental aura defense sets, in case somebody picked the elemental transform and wanted a set to work thematically. they would function more like stalker secondaries than other meelee scondaries, replacing Hide with something either more complementary to the Transformed state or the Un-Transformed state. also, i would remove any toggle pbAoEs so as not to conflict with the toggle pbaoe in the primary set. though if it was an EAT, it would have one set that is sort of the base of all these sets, looking mostly like WP or Regen, and maybe a shield or two who's fx depend on the type of transform purchased. XD
