  1. They have confirmed that the Calvin Scott TF will be in Ouroboros when I19 hits.

    Car Chases.

That would be fun AND different. The Cursed Sorcerer approves. (There is also an identical thread on this topic started by you. That thread can be locked.)
  3. Don't know if either I or anyone else has mentioned this, but. I remember a while back when the Flares power in the Fire Blast power set had an animation where the character would put his/her hands in the air while the Flares appeared out of the hands and flew towards the target.

Also add a similar animation where the character 'throws' the flares similar to this video.

  4. 1. Depending on the build and confidence level of the player, I don't have a problem with people soloing EB's. AV's should always require a team as should GM's.

    2. I have soloed nearly, if not all of the Praetorians (except for Siege) on my Scrapper. Personally, I say that gave him a badass aura of power.

    3. I don't think I will be playing any differently once the Incarnate System hits. I will still solo EB's and leave AV's and GM's to the teams.
  5. The Bring in Vanessa DeVore mission from Praetor Tilman is the type of mission that makes even the most stalwart loyalist betray their Emperor! Such a mission requires an Auto-Complete option!

Yes, we just got a large supply of silver duct tape!

Ok. Apparently, my novelty stuffed cockroaches failed as an enterprise, so now I am opening up Duct Tape Utopia, where you can buy all the duct tape you want. We are having a sale right now: all products are 80% off! Hurry though, the sale will be ending when I19 goes live!

-Most of their super humans are dead.

-Their military has been structured around fighting the specific threat of the Devouring Earth. They shouldn't be that prepared to fight a planet of superhumans, even if they've been preparing to fight a planet of superhumans. "No battle plan survives contact with the enemy."

To put it in some historical context: the tactics and training the US practiced in WW2 and Korea left them unprepared to fight a very different war in Vietnam.

The state our Praetorian characters leave Praetoria doesn't lead me to think the Praetorians will be waging the war united. Even if Cole has the people's support, the people are Enriche-addled normals who the game describes as having never raised their voice, let alone fought.

So why would the Praetorians be tough? Because they have battle suits and robots? So do the Rikti, with technology hundreds of years in advance of either Primal Earth or Praetoria, plus the Rikti are psychic to boot.

IMO, Going Rogue didn't do a good job of setting the Praetorians up as a credible threat for level 50 heroes or for Primal Earth. Quite the opposite.

    1. That was at level 19. The TF's are for 50's. Who says that Neuron hasn't perfected them in that time span?
    2. But many of them are very strong, such as the Praetors.
    3. Who said that they didn't prepare for both?

Curiously, I've noticed that even after finishing the Jenni Adair arc, her relationship bar is not maxed... and she does mention that you may have to work with her in the future...
  11. Lucky number 7. I want incarnates, but I hope pool and ancillary PC comes soon.
  12. Yes, there is some, but the OP wants MORE and I agree.
  13. The Coming Storm plotline IS being advanced, not just in-game, but IRL!
  14. I think I liked Steel Canyon better before Issue 17. It was quieter...

Actually, I'm working on a model of him for comic book purposes
I'm willing to wager that since this is the ALPHA STRIKE, I bet that these two Task Forces are NOT the last we will hear from Praetoria. I bet we WILL fight Emperor Cole eventually once we become powerful enough.
  16. I wonder if they're changing the design of the Olympian Guard too for the TF. It's appearance still reflects old Tyrant.

I think the War Walkers are probably drones derived from Clockwork technology. So, no pilots. Sorry!
  18. The way I see it, if it weren't for the Nictus storylines, the Council could EASILY be written from the lore. Maybe the Column did to them what the Council did to the Column all those issues ago?
  19. I think she's... GOING ROGUE!!! RUN FROM GOLDEN GIRL!!!
  20. Anyone have duct tape? I have a leak!

If I had to make a new zone, though, it would be somewhere (or somewhen) other than Paragon City, the Rogue Isles, or Praetoria proper. I don't think we have an desert areas, so maybe something like that. Or since most of Praetorian Earth is still destroyed or overrun by DE, I'd like to create one of the other places that are mentioned as being rebuilt. Vegas or Tokyo, for example. So we can see what life is like away from Cole's protection and his rule.
    Shroud City?
  22. Speaking of Longbow, I wouldn't mind a way to combine the Freedom Corps logo with the Stealth Chest Detail. We have both, but it's just a matter of combining the two somehow.

Oh, and the "Ziggursky Correctional Facility" back detail on the Prisoners' jumpsuits.
