Quote:Come on, Broad Sword or Regen for Brutes!Yeah, there's a bunch of the remaining possibilities that I want..
1) Nin, EM, Mace/Axe, & Stone for Scrappers (I'd love SS, but that may be too much work atm)
2) SR for tanks ... or REGEN!
3) ICE for Stalkers!
4) Sonic for MMs
5) Thermal & Fire for Defenders
6-10) DARK SETS FOR DOMINATORS FOR THE LOVE OF ANY DEITY LISTENING!!!! -
Hmmm.... Will Anti-Matter betray Praetoria perhaps.
And also...
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A PRAETORIAN INVASION EVENT!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO BEAT UP THOSE DOPPLEGANGERS! -
Personally, I would vouch for a special badge for completing the optional objectives to add at least some incentive:
Above and Beyond or something along those lines. Writer's block preventing me from coming up with good description text. -
By the way, am I the only one here who thinks that animation makes him look totally bad***?

I love using Brawl as a finishing move on my War Mace/Shield Brute. Whether he ends up hitting the guy with his shield or kicks him in the gut, at the end of the day he's still a BA.
I love using the following combo on low-level Mind Control/Psionic Assault Dominators: Mesmerize+Mind Probe (To interrupt the Mesmerize)+Dominate! Evil!
Also the aforementioned Soul Storm is the sexiest Hold in the game. Propel is great fun and Ion Judgement. Kudos to the devs for giving us the awesomeness of Ion Judgement! -

Hybrid: I don't know.
Genesis: Prior to I20, I was thinking that this would be our pet-summoning power, but now with Lore filling that role, I doubt it.
Mind: Status effect buffs or a powerful hold/mez
Vitae: A passive health or endurance buff
Omega: Something like the Alpha Slot, another global buff with an incarnate level shift. I doubt we will get another general level shift -
This thread still active? If so, this would be the perfect song for the Clockwork, no?

Not impressive per se, but unleashing Ion Judgement on those huge mobs in Perez Park fills me with giggles!
-
Judgement:
Gravity-A Targeted AOE that creates a portal over the targeted mob. The portal fires out several heavy objects which cause massive smashing damage. Think of this as Propel on steroids.
Phoenix-Creates a flaming bird (Or perhaps a small flock) and sends it hurtling towards the foe, causing massive Fire Damage.
Solaris-Creates a shower of light projectiles (Effects similar to Peacebringer powers but retintable) These projectiles do massive Energy damage and may reduce the accuracy of any foes that survive the attack due to the blinding light.
Terran-The character slams the ground causing massive chunks of earth to be uprooted and hurled at the targetted foes. -
Slightly off-topic but the Hellions also need a giant demon. Maybe a succubus. They seem to like succubi.
Also I can easily see Dr. Vahzilok making a giant Abomination or something using various body parts to make some hideous freak of nature.
And Rularuu needs...something. Not sure what.
And for the Sky Raiders, I'm not really seeing a robot as much as a giant aircraft akin to the Arachnos flier.
Ok. Back on the topic of giant robots. -

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than... anywhere on the Internet with the noted exceptions of Paragon City, the Rogue Isles (WHAT!?) and Praetoria.
-
Just wait until we get our Incarnate Powers...
Wait! Err... Did I just rip a hole in the time-space continuum? Can I get some duct tape here? -
He soloed the BAF trial and defeated Nightstar and Siege at the same time... using only [Beast Run]

Quote:It's in Nova Praetoria's Power storyline. Either Warrant's arc or the Deputy of Information's arc. I don't remember which.Yeah, and you know she could just one-shot the guy, but she lets you beat him up anyway. I mean he tried to set you up, letting you have your revenge is the polite thing to do.
I don't remember which mission it is, but there's one where you go to interrogate someone, he refuses to talk, so you break his hand. Then he offers to talk, and one of your dialogue options is "break his other hand."
Yep, I broke his other hand. -
Saved by the Cursed Sorcerer!

1. Revamp the blueside content to the same quality as the Praetorian arcs. Why? Praetoria proves that early game content CAN be epic!
2. Upgrade older models as some people said already.
3. Revamp the Shadow Shard (Missions and TF's, the zones themselves I don't think need to be revamped and neither do the Soldiers of Rularuu, Reflections or Lanaru.) -
Noticed another easter egg/game reference. On page 3, Flash-Man says that he wanted to call himself Flashman but the name was taken. I bet at least a few of you have had something like that happen in the game.

Quote:Arguably the best COH comic book arc.**SPOILER**
CV, that arc was taken from the City of Heroes comic book arc written by Troy Hickman. If you go to the Kings Row train station in-game, there is a statue of Cyrus Thompson, a/k/a Breakneck, in front of it.
For me, the very best of that writing comes right after the part you like, but it is in the comic. Cyrus has blown his weakened heart to bits but taken Baron Zoria and friends down, and is on the floor when the Freedom Phalanx arrives.
Cyrus (as Statesman cradles his dying body): Is it okay? Did you manage to stop them?
Statesman: No, sir, we didn't. But you DID.
Gets me every time.
End of page 21 and start of page 22 in the online comic. -
He has every incarnate slot including "Perfection", "Ultima", "FREEM!" and "PWNZ."
-
Hellions: Burn... and get burned!
Rikti: You will: join us. Resistance: futile. -
Freakshow because of the psychotic vibe they give off and their dialogue
Arachnos because of their sheer variety.
Malta because they're challenging and because of their sheer epicness.
Cimerorans-Because their animations are cool.
Rikti because invasion events are epic! They should do something similar with the Praetorians.
Also love the War Walker's death animation and Hamidon's as well.
And of course all my villains love to hate Longbow for obvious reasons.
