Why I am a solo artist.
I often do not have much time to play, and may have to split at a moments notice. So I really hate to team up then have to run (which I feel generates bad Karma). So I tend to solo. Which I have been able to do every mission given except for the few that require more folks due to bomb disarming or whatever.
Now I will team with people if I have the time, or they give me a really good reason (like times mission they did not realize they needed extra people for), but I also grow weary of getting 19,000 invites from the same players I a row. Right in the middle of a fight where I need to concentrate.
So I started my own supergroup- The Solo Artists . Maybe having that under my name will clue people not to randomly invite me then get miffed when I dont accept.
If any other soloists want to join, cool. If not, cool. There are only a few rules:
1. Dont be an @ss and annoy other players
2. There is no rule #2
Corollary to #1- it helps to have a good sense of humor
