Crab Spiders are fantastic, but I have a 50 Bane Spider as well and they're both great. Bane Spiders are what stalkers could have been IMHO.

For a fun visual use Beast Run on your Crab for a bit. I still have it on one of my bars just to run around and laugh at.

EDIT: I have the PPD costume power and when I use that on my Crab my "arm" grenades come out of my left foot. FOOTNADE!

I think I'm more into Bio Armor and possibly Nature Affinity so I can use "The Devoured One". I still wish there was a DE PEAT though.

Blerg. I for one would ignore all those shiny keybinds just like I ignore the 9-12 macros people seem to use for MM's. I use: All follow + passive, All follow + defensive (bodyguard), and All killmytargetnow. That's it. Works pretty well. Only 3 MM's though.

Back to blasters though. I like the changes on paper. I'll see how I like them in practice. I hope that something is eventually done with the nukes, but as it stands that just leaves me room to take powers to slot for ranged softcap.

I think Skyway needs a revamp, but not removal. As has been pointed out, there are several contacts and access points there that are largely integral to the content now.

Snipe Changers:
- 22% ToHit bonus required for InstaSnipe(TM)
- Does not apply to LRM

Renamed powers:
- Cloaking Device > Field Operative
- Touch of Fear > Touch of the Beyond
- Energy Manipulation > Energize
- Electricity Manipulation > Energize
I forget the others.

Mechanics:
- Most of those powers will grant a +regen/+recov bonus, with 50% of the regen being enhanceable and 100% of the recov.
- Ice and Fire's auras will pulse as they do now, but they will give a small heal on each pulse (and presumably also also increase recov).
- These effects from the normally detoggleable auras will not be subject to suppression due to mez.

Re: Dual Pistols:
- They're looking into them to bring them "up to par" with the rest.

I'll never actually "quit" CoX, but it's getting rough on the old wallet right now since I'm staggering 3 month subs to 3 different MMOs (so the payments come out on sequential months, etc). The biggest problem is time for them all.

The whole "can I have your stuff" goes back a long way to EQ1, UO, DAoC, and the other precursors to the current MMO (and back into MUDs and such as well). In a gear based game when someone threw a fit and rage-quit (or just quit) their characters were traditionally holding on to fortunes in gear and other hoarded drops.

In City, you'd really just want their account info to strip toons of Purples and PvP IOs and maybe mail a few billion inf around.

Generally I'm seeing people in the thread saying that they're teaming more, which makes sense.

Last night I popped into my vent server and said "Okay, who wants to go on a Penny TF?" I ended up with 3 others plus myself so I planted myself at Penny and hit LFG. Within 15 minutes we had a full team (tanks, brutes, a blaster, couple of doms and a 'troller). Beat the crap out of things for a bit and completed the TF. During that time The Notorious AFK joined vent and expressed interest in it if we ever ran another. I trained up my Dom that had just done the TF and grabbed my blaster (Lt Ace Danger) and formed up another PTF in less than 15 minutes and we rolled through that one (1 stalker, blasters, corrs) in 30:29.
I hate forming and running teams. No, hate might not be strong enough. I loathe it. Now with the advent of LFG I still don't form teams often, but I do have it in a tab where I can look and see if something's going and send a TTL and hop on. I never used to do that. I ignored broadcast. I ignored global channels for anything other than TF or iTrials.

Because of the ease of finding and forming teams now I don't do my own content most of the time. I might hop on and just smash out 5 tips on 3 or 4 characters, but mostly I hop on and either watch my iTrial channels or LFG in general and dive into whatever. New characters will be put through DFB 3-4 times for the buffs and levels then hop into any other teams. I don't DFB to 30 then ITF or whatever. After I get my 3-4 DFB buffs I do whatever. At 20 I start giving preference to the grey tip teams.

Where the hell did all these people come from in my game?

Okay, so it crashes. Good to know. So every so often you have to pop a blue to get back in to lightform? You can't just put it on auto and ignore it. *ponder* Interesting.

Mine's changed drastically. I do the iTrials, I PUG, I randomly just hop into someones team for a couple of missions then take off again.

I still generally shelve my toons when they hit 50 unless I really enjoy them consistently. If I do enjoy them, then they get the full Tier 4 incarnate experience. Thus far that's only 4 out of 60-ish.

I've read the threads, seen the numbers and both seen and built the builds. What I don't know however is what happens in practice.

Is there still a crash, or does the 2nd application of lightform "refresh" the first? I might reroll my old 50 PB from way back.
