I do occasionally use shift+num to select team-mates, but not very often. I can see how a dedicated Empath or FFer might use them far more frequently than any of my characters do, though.

I never use the ctrl+num bind, though. So far I've never played a character that's given me cause to.

    Cheers,

    Yes we do.

    Neither do I.

  2. I still just wanna know when we can see it live

I like this Flashback thing as I missed most of the story arcs with my main (emp/rad) by outlevelling them on TF's (Positron 3 times, Synapse 5, Sister 3, Bastion 3 or 4).

I may be a WoW player, but Paragon City is my home
    Go Dev's!
  3. Only one question remains in my mind States (et al); how will I ever manage to divide my time to play other games besides CoH?

Well, two questions I guess. Is there an estimated timeline for the rollback, names lieutenants, etc? Something like "When we get to it" or "with i4 in a few months" is fine by the way

  5. We love ya States

As the only member from my SG on during the days, (I'm unemployed for now and they're not), I tend to solo a bunch and had enjoyed it. I group up with them in the evenings and we have a blast.
First time I came across a Fake Nemesis boss in my solo mission I almost had a stroke I beat him, but not without training back to the elevators so I could pop out and heal when it got iffy.
Emp/Rad is great most of the time and I feel I have to work for my levels, but I felt totally outclassed

    Great plan for a resolution.

I would LOVE to do Pulp stuff...but would it sell? That's the issue.

Doc Savage. The Shadow. Agent 13. *shudders* Such great potential from the Pulp world.

*gasps* Agent 13! I got my first A13 novel when I bought the Top Secret SI box set back in Elementary School.

Theres other reason other then distance why people dont want to hunt in the Shadow Shard. Like the minions there.

I don't think its fair that those giant eyeball have like 1000% percent accuracy. I can chomp on several Lucks and still get hit quite a bit by those eyeballs....

    [/ QUOTE ]

I gotta say that I love the Shard, but you're right, rularuu eyeballs just suck rocks. I've never been missed by them yet and the secondary effect of their hits is not plesant.

I love the shard, the gravity fountains, a place for me to really revel in my flight. A place where the 5th column lives on.

We've taken a look at the various comments about the Kheldian Archetypes and we've come up with a couple of possible solutions. Feel free to post responses...

First, players are concerned about the inherent weakness of the Kheldians. Solo, a kheldian does -30% damage and has -30% to resistances. For every player who teams up with a Kheldian, a player receives a buff to damage or defense...Currently, it's balanced so that a Kheldian needs to team up with 3 other people to become baseline. After this point, a Kheldian can far outstrip other Archetypes in terms of damage and defense...

But this starting weakness has especially hit the solo and small team player. So our solution: decrease the Kheldian hit points to the normal level of a Blaster, decrease the group damage & resistance bonus BUT remove their inherent damage resistance de-buff. And we'd also give a slight psi resistance when a Controller is in a group.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sounds like a plan, but perhaps reduce both def and dam debuffs to 10% off the unenhanced values, decrease the bonus given so that with only 1 partner they're still a little behind par but with 2 they're slightly ahead of par. That'd be a weird little number like 7%.

The next question I have is: What's par? Tanker HP, scrapper melee and blaster ranged?

Anyway, glad these are being looked at and glad you pushed the release back

    Thanks devvies

Whether or not defeating Dr. V is the objective of the mission is irrelevant. The point is you suddenly find yourself faced with your first chance to fight an AV, and you are not forewarned about it. I am curious how many people made the assumption that since they were able to solo all of their mission to that point, made the mistake of trying to solo Dr. V?

The same people who didn't read about "con-ing" opponents during the Outbreak tutorial and just went "Yeah, yeah... click click. I'm a pro." Oops.
