Also, good morning peoples. Have a great day. *waves*
Nevermind that they're ugly and boring COokies, Em.

  4. I just found this site and I love it. Of course I wish I could live in England with the same pay-scale I have her, so I'm biased.
  5. So like my best friend just got herself a new phone and uses texting, (like everyone outside of North America has been doing for a decade now). I had looked at the prices and $0.75 for each received text from outside of Canada was going to kill me. My monthly plan didn't have texting (that I knew of) so I called Fido to add some. I lost nothing, and the new value-pack they changed me to is actually $1 cheaper than my current plan.

    I love Fido.
  6. I've heard rumblings of an Ironman vs Gizmoduck clash. I hope it comes to pass.

    ARGH!

I'll have one after I16. All I'm making is 2 villains. Nothing new for heroes that interests me enough. I still need to get my Ill/FF controller to 50 (currently 35) so I have 1 of every hero AT (including HEATs) at 50.
  8. Well, balanced my 50's yesterday. Hero 50's match villain 50's numerically. w00t. OCD satisfied until I16.

    Oh, and Moo.

Nobody: I preferred to be called Nobody.
    Excellent movie.
  12. Thank Bob! We finally have working Dev and Community Digest "threads" directly from the Development forum. w00t!

    Oh... and ... uhm... *thinks*

Inara Serra: Mal, what are you doing here?
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: You invited me.
Inara Serra: I never thought for a second you'd be stupid enough to come!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Well that makes you a tease.

Yeah, it's an auto power from Body Mastery that gives 50% of the values of Health & Stamina in one power.

Hm. Bayani's probably going to undergo a respec...question is which epic pool should I spec into because Body Mastery and Blaze both fit conceptually. On one hand, Body gives Focused Accuracy and that new power that Boosts bonuses from Stamina and Health by 50%. On the other hand, Blaze would get him Char, Melt Armor, and Fireball. And since the Blaster to Scrapper conversion, I have missed my Ha-Do-Ken...
Yup. I'll be dropping Conserve Power on one of my scrappers for Perfect Body (or whatever it's called). Forced to drop it on my Stone/Elec brute for the new self heal.

...and the metric frog-ton of colour changes I'll be making. I've found a nice "Blight" style for my new Earth/Earth Dom.

At least I got most of my lawn done. I really should have done it a week ago, but I've been feeling horrible this past week, and just got over it. Unfortunately, in that time was when the grass grew in thick and tall, and while trying to cut it, it kept jamming up, and at one point while trying to push through (it's a manual, ugh) the freaking handle snapped right off. Cheap workmanship.

Well, nothing I can do about it now. Just have to save up for a new one. Time to just kick back and relax today. Oh, and beat up the Joker some.
Condo townhouse. They take care of everything on the outside. Best $255/m evars.
  16. Ain't no last hurrah yet. Lots of summer left Moo and such.

EDIT: And I dunno where everybody is.
  17. Solid yellow netgraph. Can't do anything. I timed it and it took 1m27s to activate a power. Virtue.

If someone attacks you, put them down. If they get back up you did it wrong. I support no second chances. I support the responsbility of the police to shoot to bring you down. They shout "Stop! Police!" and you run, they should put a slug in your back. I also support the right of a resident to protect their family and belongings with lethal force. Someone breaks into your home, they don't get to leave. There are instances where non-lethal force is required/preferred, I just haven't heard of many.

Shooting someone from a distance before they can punch you, or failing that stab them in the throat. All of course being reliant on you not having the jump on them in the first place.

Hand to hand is kind of cool to watch, but like knights in armor, it's time has gone. Long live the energy weapon!
  21. Street fights have guns. Put 10 guys in a closed off city block, each with a glock and only the clip already loaded. Last one standing wins his freedom.
  22. Yesterday @theguild linked to The Legend of Neil S02E03 where Felicia Day (who plays the fairy) sings a ribald tune. I laughed so hard I then had to go back and watch the whole series. S01 is only 6 episodes and S02E03 is the most recent.

The Legend of Neil Definitely NSFW but oh so freaking awesome.

I tried Win+space originally and was quite disappointed to see that while I had a clear view of the desktop, I couldn't do anything with the desktop. I'd simply wanted to scoot all my windows off the screen, open a folder or document from the desktop, and when I was done, have all my windows restored to how I left them, with the new one in front (as I said earlier, like the F11 key does in OS X's Expose).

Someone pointed out that Win+D will show the desktop, and pressing Win+D again will restore the windows, but only if you don't open another window between the two commands. That's kind of self-defeating, since the only reason I ever want to see the desktop is when I'm trying to find a file or folder to open, and then have all my windows back to how I'd left them. Under XP, I used a program called TopDesk, which mimics Expose's feature set. It apparently plays well with Aero and is compatible with 64-bit Vista, so I'd assume it works with 64-bit Win7 as well, but I haven't had a chance to dig up a 64-bit version (although I'd also assume my 32-bit installer would work just fine).
You... put things on your desktop...? But... That's where pictures go...

    Ditto. Clean install. Intel Q9450, 8GB DDR2 RAM, GTX280 card, Creative Audigy X-Treme, Win7 64bit. CoX run's fine.
