Scotch, neat.
I snagged a retail copy for 7 bucks yesterday so I'm a "VIP" for a month. I ponied up for the points to buy the Drow race and the Favored Soul class and he's currently 3rd level (15th in their system). MUCH more solo friendly than it used to be, and there seem to be more people around willing to team now as well. -
This was one of the few times where we came out of the warehouse (the usual one), and he was hoping over a fence on his way to get us. Normally we have to wait around and maybe send a scout to find him.

I was freaking bored to tears all weekend. Then yesterday I ran a Posi, Synapse and Psyche. Had an internet failure for like an hour and a half before the 1st mission from the Synpase was done, but got back in a mission before Babbage and we knocked it out.
Overall, Monday was... awesome. Sat/Sun... pretty much crap. -

As for the original question: There was no temptation, only suck.

Quote:Don't forget that if Apple decides to pull an app months later, it's retroactively removed from your iPhone during sync (since all Apple software calls home and is in fact spyware). The iPhone app store is nice, but I hate seeing Apple's control over it, especially since its being investigated now because of apps they are not letting in.
The Blackberry App store is nice in its own right, but I can go out on the web and not even have to use the app store and find jsut about any app I need for my usage, plus I have MMS, which Apple is still coming out with for the iPhone but hasn't released yet. -
Quote:The slim drops linux as an OS option, and also removes PS2 game compatibility.Nah, it's just a slimmed down version, still has all the features. Like the old PS to the new PS or the original PS2 to the slim PS2.
In short, Sony likes making their game systems unnecessarily big and clunky so they can release a 'new and improved' version later and suck people into buying a new system.
(Okay, that's really not true, they just get better deals on smaller proprietary hardware later on and can make the systems smaller, but still.) -
If you change the level your character restarts the game as they are now (level, gear, skillz). I got about 1/2 way through Act 1 before restarting the first time. Now I just start on Silver.
-
I've played mostly on Silver since the enemies all actually stay your level or higher so eve when you get swarmed by rats in the starter areas again, they're still workth killing.
That being said, most "defend" missions I've failed. There are some where the NPC your escorting can't be killed so those are great. Point A to Point B killing in between and the ******* you're with can't run off and get killed. I've got a lot of X's in my journal as well. It seems to be the combatant NPC's that always suck it and die though. -
Morning morning as well

I see that BAB's mighty quote of awesomeness has killed the thread. He has that effect, (unless people are whining about something).

Moo an' such. Perhaps Mod 8 will pop by and bless us all with Teh Repz.

Quote:According to my logs the last time I did it, we defeated 2473 5th mobs due to the constant ambushes before we gave up.If you don't have access to the gun operating rooms then this is much harder then the hero version. Ambushes are spawning, filling the previously empty base with maybe 100 fresh troops. Most of them stay with Reichsman, some are in the tunnels, stationary and patrolling.
