No APP's for villains with I16. Aside from the power colouring there's the super sidekicking, hazard zone level restriction removal, AE bludgeoning (yay!), costume display in the login screen change... Lots there, mostly QoL. Honestly I love it, just wish more people were around and that I wasn't going to be taking a month off for Aion.

Apparently the card can support things like Doom3 and WoW. It might support CoX and Guild Wars. I predict some GW action for that week, and movies/books at work when things are slow (the whole 12 hours).

So it sounds like I'll be working 12 hours shifts for 7 days starting Sept 25th through Oct 2nd, including the weekend. Ideally I'll be staying at a hotel on the clients dime but it really puts a crimp in my life. That's 2 Friday's that are shot to bits (2 D&D 4E sessions as well as fringe benefits), and all I'll have with me is my work laptop which is meant for games... seriously. The video card is... uhm... nVidia Quadro NVS 320M. So sub par in most respects.

Then I grabbed my 39 ill/ff troller and hoped into a team in PI. Apparently there are zones outside of Atlas. Who knew!? Also, what's this invenshun salvagay? Did that just go in with Issue 16?

Funny thing about the shiny new color powersets...first thing I did was go through on my new steampunky SS/Inv tanker and turn all the effects as invisible as possible because he's just a big old clockwork robot that's good at smacking stuff. Also switched a few of the SS punches around, just for variety....then went to Victory and logged on to my much ignored Banana/Regen scrapper and made him not look utterly lame
...now has black and red poison spikes that match his tattoos

I joined a team that was running at level 11, and still got XP. I was at 38. I also kept my powers that were at level 16.
Can anybody confirm the way a TF works? Do you keep powers up to +5 your level (which would make a Positron TF actually not that bad) -

Couldn't change everything to the way I wanted it, but most things I changed.
My villains now have blue/cyan electricity.
Changed rad blast to match Pain.
Made my bubbles and pets all double white for my ill/ff troller.
Made the /wp on my new claws/wp brute the same blue as her costume highlights.
Made the earth on my earth/earth dom look like cracked and baked toxic stone (a la Blight).
Made my stone melee on a tank and brute look like gemstone Onyx and Ruby repectively.
That's about it.
So pumped for Aion. *GLEE!* -
My only complaint about I16 is that I can't make my ice red. I wanted a blue fire, red ice blaster. Oh well. If that's all I can complain about then the dev's and their support staff went above, beyond and possibly transdimensional.

I think Pogo was asking about the CoH static team Rad, not DDO.

Out of curiosity what servers have you picked? I went with what the people in the Aion group suggested for open beta. Israphel for Elyos characters and Nezeken for Asmodeans. The global chat on both servers was... horrid. But from what I had head, it was pretty much the same on every server. Every internet comedian grabbed a free open beta trial and went to down spewing their garbage constantly. That and constant requests to find the same two quest items, no matter how many times the question was answered. (At least for the Elyos).
I'm not really tied to those servers, but it might be a good idea to have one east and one west coast server (like those two are). That way, if one server location goes down I can still play. After all, this is NCSoft. They love doing that with City of...
As for server, I'm going in with my guild from WAR and we're on what was voted the unofficial RP server of Lumiel. We'll be fighting for the Asmodae against the nancy-boy sissies of the Elyos. Sersiously, have you SEEN the Elyos metrosexual scouts and assassins? Or ANY Elyos man-dance. It's.... it's embarassing. For that reason alone we must smash them from the skies and destroy their broken tower base before it destroys us all.
I'll be rolling an Eyos or two on the other coast as well for similar reasons. -
Hrm. Servers down for extended maintenance... It had better just be a pre-patch. Aion starts Friday for me...
