Well my snowstorm isn't weather related. Work's been crazy busy for the last few weeks. Looking forward to working from home tomorrow then being off until Jan 4th.

Quote:Wait... there are people on Triumph!? I could've sworn it was where ... actually I don't actually know what Triumph was forI don't know how this whole server transfer will play out, all I know is yesterday at 1pm eastern there were only 42 people on Triumph. Ya know the little "(this list as been truncated )" on the bottom of the team search window? ... It wasn't there, the first time in my 51 months of playing that I've seen that. And during the start of the Holiday Event no less. So even appreciating the gift of server transfers given us, I'm curious how it will pan out.

Quote:ED was necessary. Properly done, IO sets now allow you to get that pre-ED feeling of superawesomeindestructiblesoloing8manmissions while still requiring you to continue playing the game. They also give a LOT of options that were simply never there before. Blaster/Corruptor/Defender softcapped to range? Only possible with sets, etc.Just my unscientific observation, but this game seems to be more and more about penalties and limitations, and even though we were promised that in time ED would all make sence, I don't find Inventions to have been such a great boon to the game. It's definitly something else to do, but it's no more than a distraction as is AE now.
ED forced people to think outside of '1 acc + 5 dam is how all attacks are slotted'. Now people have range, stun, hold proc's, etc.
I still associate Jack with cabbage based on PR skills and IQ, but ED was a good thing. -
And this is why I won't do master runs. I've team dropped twice after forming when the leader said it was going to be a master run. Once with my stone/ tank and once with my emp/ defender.

I think the Ninja Booster was totally worth it and have absolutely zero complaints based on cost vs reward to me as a player.
Keep it going dev's. I'm itching to see what you do for the Muntant pack. Hrm, maybe that's just the rash though.
Regardless, Go Team Paragon! -
Quote:I presume we're can't choose the way it is now vs the 'magical teleporting swords and guns' ?Good news everyone, I think I have figured out a way to bypass weapon redraw in combat. I've tested it with with various non-weapon powers or weapon powers from completely different sets, and it seems to work out. This means that you will be able to use any power in a chain with a weapon power, and not have to redraw the weapon...even completely different weapon powers. It will just instantly appear in your hand and play the attack animation. If you're not in combat, out of range, or have no target selected...then it will play a non-rooted, interruptible version of the weapon draw animations.
Some minor issues with consistently playing a weapon draw animation outside of combat, or the weapon draw animation playing when it really does need to...but that shouldn't interfere with combat.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to get to every powerset at once, but I was able to get the following powersets done.
- Broadsword
- Claws
- Dual Blades
- Archery
- Battleaxe
- War Mace
- Trick Arrow
- Thugs Mastermind Dual Pistols
- Robotics Mastermind Pulse Rifle
- Arachnos Widows
- Arachnos Soldiers
- Patron "mace" powers
- Munitions Ancillary Pool
Sorry BAB's, can't please everyone.
