I think the PSU on my email/internet machine at home died (either that or mobo). I hope to get a replacement PSU today but I might have to order it instead. If it's the mobo... they don't make a socket 939 anymore, so I'd have to do a Proc and Mobo upgrade.

Guilty Pleasures? Well I did activate a 10 day WoW trial on Saturday. I also finally snagged BioShock 2 on Steam. Alldos Online is another little MMO that's free and not terrible (WoWish graphically).

Also: Final verdict on Dragon Age Awakenings:
Good story. Solid writing as expected. Good dialogue.
Dull PC/party characters. They're borderline interesting but just never make that jump to "SO COOL!" Just couldn't really get attached to any of them.
No romance options. I couldn't find them at least after getting 2 of my party to 'love'.
Short. 8 hours. Start to finish with a new character (which started 3-5 levels behind where my imported characters are going to be.
Too easy to miss things. <-- This was top of my list. I finished the game with around 15-20 quests unfinished. Many were companion quests. They're not all wardens, (duh), but some want to go through the rite. You're supposed to talk to your seneschal(sp), and I went back after doing two areas and finding what I think are the last 2 companions. They both wanted to join up. Talk to my dude what runs $%&#, and my only option is to call my council of war. WTF? Seriously? Thankfully since this was my uber-good-guy I had no attachment since he was also rolled fresh for Awakenings (Ultimate Sacrifice achievement in Origins ). My thief and mage will make frogking sure all those quests get done.
New 'skills' mean too many now. They added Rune Crafting along with a HP and a MP/Stamina track for skills. Do not want. Just have them drop like before. Unless I give up useful skills there simply aren't enough points to max Rune Crafting.

Anyway, there you go. Verdict? Not worth the cash. Worth about $10 for the quality, content and amount of time it will eat up.

Thus far Dragon Age: Awakenings is... okay. None of the PC's really stand out like they did in the first one. The plot is interesting and the dialogue is still top notch. Lack of DLC items carrying across is still $%&&ing me off but I can get by.
They added something similar to NWN2 where I have a keep to care for and have limited soldiery and funds. I presume I'll have to upgrade the keep for some reason and of course where I assign the soldiery affects attitudes towards me and random encounters. Meh.
Overall I rate it a 6. Good if you really liked the 1st one, otherwise not a must-have. A pretty good example of the genre as well.
