Just had the same thing happen. An extra Notice and bonus merits again.

Quote:Thanks for poking your head in and updating us Avatea. b^^dAll, we're keeping an eye on this issue but we wanted to confirm that nothing is taken out of the affected accounts. After logging out and logging back in, you should be able to resume your normal activities. We'll monitor this thread and reports while we investigate the possible source of the problem.
Thank you all! -
LIES and HERESY! The petless masterminds out there will argue that while they may not be the corridor-clogging scattered aggro machines that their counterparts are, they are quite effective.

Quote:Correct. We had someone do this specifically to test. This is just how it works.First, didn't the TF change to be Khan (or the equivlant on the villain side) today?
Second, if I remember what some people mentioned last week if you run the TF during the week it is the Strike Pack item and you are not qualified for the piece you would still get marked as having run the TF that week and thus ineligible for further rewards from it. Seeing as you would get double XP bonus and double merits you would be considered having been marked as doing the TF. -

Quote:I had a defender on my team, but we couldn't remember which AT was the analogue to MM. Looks like it never got used since we had him go to his machine twice and go Unaffected 4 times.I would never do a Barracuda without a MM or Defender (they both get the temp power that removes R's Unstoppable).
What I like about Barracuda is the ambush of a thousand nazis. Good chance for a Purple drop.
We finally beat him simply because we drained his end and he couldn't activate it.
Must haves for the 'Cuda is a Mastermind... or apparently a Defender. -
Quote:Yup. Had this happen Monday around 1800 EST on Virtue. Closing on 81 months. Backed out and relaunched then everything was fine.Went to log in and got the message that I was on a Trial account did I want to upgrade?
??? This account is has been a full account for over 57 months. Wouldn't let me get on my character. Anyway said No and backed out of the menus and relogged and seems fine now.
Just wondering if anyone else had this happen. -
I played a bit and had some fun. That's it.
-
And this week everyone will be running STF and LRSF a bunch.

Quick update. He can get to http://eu.cityofheroes.com Just not anything else that's attached to the domain. Try to get to the forums through the EU site... no good.
-
I'm on IM with a friend of mine who's having the same issue. Four machines in the house all on the same router. One of them can't connect to cityofheroes.com. Game runs. Just can't get to the Domain.

It be them thar durn toorists stealin' our Hammiez

Same. If you can get in though check out the War Zone (raids and 3 TF's that people routinely run), Cimerora (simple TF that gets run a lot) or the *shudder* Pocket D.

From what I've gathered from those that are in the situation: They were concerned and contacted NCS and were informed that as long as they don't try and get the name >now< then it's all good. The name is blocked, but that's only during creation. It's a bit like IBTL.

If the only valid pages are the last 2, then just nuke it and repost. Sticky the new "correct" version. Ideally a sticky post should be 1-3 pages in length using the forum default posts/page. If it's longer than that then it shouldn't be stickied unless it's for an incident (Virtue Stability Issues) or an event. When the issue or event is done, unsticky.
Of course that's just my OCD organizational preferences screaming in pain. -
Hopefully well see a revamp in CoH2-Vahzilok Boogaloo

My bio's are brief origin stories. *shrug* That's it.

Quote:I'm OCD about my insps as well. I organize them in columns L-R (Greens, Special, Blues). My default is 2 columns of greens and 2 of blues. Top to bottom their organized by size with the large insps being on the bottom. The middle column (denoted as "special" above and once I have 5 columns), is usually 1 wakie (bottom), 1 break free. The empty spaces are for nomming mid-fights as they drop.I do this exact thing myself. First row is healing, second is endurance, third is defense, fourth is damage fifth is 1 accuracy, 1 break free and 1 rez. I am super OCD about organizing it to the point it has gotten be defeated on nearly all of my characters on a fairly regular basis.
Synapse
The vast majority of my toons are female and all of those (except for 2) are 5'-0" dead on. Waist and boob slider minimized, leg slider maxed. I then adjust them to the aforementioned 5'-0". I sometimes click through my character slots just to see the costumes change while height and body spec stays the same. So in addition to being pretty OCD I'm also easily amused it seems -
No global name should equal the generic treatment at this point.
That being said I nabbed Energized, Prototyped and Ancillary within the last 2 months. -

I feel all n00b n stuff.
So I decided over the holidays to take a few more characters to tourist status so I can play them wherever when friends fire up teams and TF's. I have several characters that have switched sides or gone tourist or gone full circle. The characters I was going to try and move are all level 20. After a few hours of missions on one of them I hadn't received any tips. Hrm... Bad luck possibly so I grabbed another character (level 32) and plowed through a few dozen Scrapyarders during a strike. No tips. Odd.
The only thing all the characters I tried have in common is that none of them have the "Tip Contact". That contact that explains how the alignment system and tips work.
Aside from "Do more and you'll get tips" are there any ideas? -
*climbs out from under a rock* Moo!
*sticks a pig in the fire to cook* -
AS I'm done work for the year this Friday I might try and get in on a few runs on both sides. I already belong to too many pointless channels though. Is there one or two that traditionally announce when you start forming?
