I just figured they left her head and its life support out of the procession so she could mouth off elsewhere.

But it's Praetorian Penny's body. Primal Penny still wears a ball cap and is like 12.
  4. Every AT is useful and I will take all of them. Variety is required however as too much of anything is either cumbersome or boring. The player makes or breaks the AT.

    Prove it. Show me them.

People on the forum disliking it is absolutely irrelevant here. Golden Girl is making a claim. I'm asking her for the evidence to back that up.
Yo. I'd love some. I've still got a character in Praetoria that hasn't left and I have no intention of ever leaving.

Criminals prey on the innocent, dark things lurk under our streets and alien forces still plot their conquest of this world. Too much of this proud city lies in ruins or lost to criminals. Now, more than ever, we need a new generation of heroes to inherit the burden they left us, rout the forces of injustice from our city, and make it once more a shining beacon of hope and freedom."

Then who would villains fight and plot against?

There needs to be a visible, active NPC hero group for that antagonist/protagonist thingy to happen.
  7. I liked the Statesman in the novels.
I loathed the Statesman in the comics.
I actively want to kill the Statesman in the game (largely because of the comics).

--- Wonder if they will build a giant Statesman statue in game somewhere, sort of like how Superman has one in Metropolis !

Covered in a villain arc where you find that someone is trying to make their own Shivans.

It's not a question of suspending disbelief. Paragon City literally could not fit into the area in question. It would have taken all of five seconds for the people who originally mapped out the city to see that if they had bothered to do so.

When you decide that "my city is an alternate version of this real world city" then the logical thing to do is to figure out how your city is analagous to that real world city, not to just make up whatever geography you want and say "but this is a different world with different geography".

Venture is absolutely correct, though I suspect it's less "they didn't do the research" and more that the people who drew up that original map didn't actually care. They just picked Providence because it sounded plausible and ran with it.

Trust me on this. I've written fanfic set during the initial Rikti invasion and I tried to figure out how the freeways into and out of Paragon City would map onto the real city of Providence. The geography of Paragon City is not quite completely bogus for a city that supposedly sits where Providence sits in our world.
    Not. Real. World. Honest.

    Step 4. Turn Independence Port into a level 20 - 25 zone.

    Step 5. Turn Talos Island into a level 25 - 30 zone.

Get rid of the Hollows, Perez Park, Boomtown, Skyway City, Striga Isle, Terra Volta, Brickstown, and Crey's Folly.

Basically, that would leave Atlas Park, Kings' Row, Steel Canyon, Faultline, Independence Port, Talos Island, Croatoa, Founders' Falls, Eden, Peregrine Island, Cimerora, Ouroboros, the Rikti War Zone, the Hive, and Dark Astoria. I think this would be much more manageable.
I'd rather just wipe away Paragon City since I haven't used it since CoV launched.

  19. I think the Hellion fell out of the interdimensional vagoo that Azuria appears to have (based on some entering a mission through her animations). it also explains where she keeps the stuff that keeps getting lost.

Haven't found an MMO that isn't (except for PvP aspects - but lolpvp anyway).

See, I like alts. I don't "grind" any character. I play them as I want to. The only grind I've found came with Sets and the need to farm to afford a real build, and then the Grind came back with a capital G with the incarnate (post alpha) slots. I just don't bother anymore. I play my alts, I slot them with basic IO's at level 27 and when they 50 I might, maybe, slim chance, bother to grind out the cash to set them out. Normally I don't.

The end-game is the grind. The road there is loads of fun.

    IMHO, YMMV.
