  1. Thanks for the replies.

I ended up just moving back to Virtue with a name change and formed a new SG. That should be enough change to keep me busy for a while.
  2. So the EU servers are just as low population as most of our NA servers? Mmm, that's a bummer.
  3. Has there been any recent documentation released giving a general estimate as to population on each server?

Been on Virtue for a while and was looking for a change of scenery so I moved to Freedom... not sure how much I really enjoy the quality of people on there so far. I was thinking of maybe moving to an EU server but with that delayed not sure anymore. Still a possibilty. So who's next in line?

What would be the next server in line in terms of population? I originally started on Justice but left because it seemed like a ghost town last time I was there.
  4. At the moment, I believe (from chatter on boards/global) that the chance to proc is applied on every tick. Whether this is intended or not is unsure. All other procs in these type of powers uses the 'every 10 seconds rule' so I don't believe that reactive is working properly.

Keep in mind that there's still a cap as to how many of these you can stack on an enemy (6?).

Fireball has a pretty quick recharge too. Hide>BU>Fireball is an awesome feeling.

    Fixed Rewards?

In the hundreds (at least it seems like it, possible exaggeration) of trials I've ran prior to the new patch, I've only ever had the Common option once. I ran two Lambdas back to back this morning and received Common on both.

Not being a Doomsayer, just found it kind of odd.

Grab Fireball from epic pools. Auto-crit from hide. AS rarely gets any play anymore.

Please don't think I am asking others to feel like I do. I say enjoy the story, get frustrated at inconsistencies, whatever. All I am saying is that I am not there.
I would say that a larger amount of players don't place as big of an emphasis on the storyline. The reason you see it crop up here more often is because forum people are kind of different from your every day player. Forum people have a stronger dedication to the game because they feel invested and want to see it succeed, therefore can be a lot more critical about everything from new story branches to the color of their character's shoelaces.

Only you will have your own reasons as to why you enjoy your game and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
  9. Still very much worth it though. I mainly use gun attacks on my crab. I only put it away for Suppression or Shatter Armor.
  10. Most Lambda runs I find myself on these days don't even bother with hitting the doors anymore. Rush AV, judgment the adds. Works out best this way.

    KM Stalker

No, always 20% chance whether in hide or not. The new patch on Test changes this to crit from hide.
  12. In complete agreement. Ran Sutter for the first time last night, ridiculous amounts of Red text. Duray calling in an air strike? Oh, you mean the million arrows glowing all over the ground? Duray is teleporting? Do I really need to be told what I'm already seeing?

Please allow for an option to turn these off.

Theory fighter? Crab it is then.
  14. I mapped the tilde key (squiggly line) for target nearest. I then Tab my way through the rest of the targets with Tab. Works out easiest for me.
  15. Last I checked, it did not auto-crit out of hide. I believe it has a 20% chance to crit at all times.

That's a really good idea. Looks like I gotta grind out another T4 now.

I don't use my lore pets much either, as warworks die on my melee alts without def buffs, seers are mostly decorative and clockworks steal influence (and so I assume rewards) with their chain power. I don't have IDF yet but I can't see them faring much better than warworks.
Use Clockwork, they're all ranged and generally stay out of trouble since they don't run in to melee. Warworks is good for hard targets, but Clockwork seem more practical for the rest of the time.
  18. I would like to see TFs with a challenge setting option called "Incarnate Challenge". Essentially it would be the same TF but with significantly buffed mobs, team size requirements removed, no use of temps, and maybe some other fun surprises. Mobs would drop threads like in trials and maybe even Astral Merits for achieving certain objectives.

Think of D2 Nightmare/Hell mode. Higher difficulty, better rewards.

With many players approaching T4 status all around, there is the concern of existing content not as challenging and not as worthwhile as it used to be. Sure, I can set it to +4 for a challenge but it would be nice to have a more thought out option. Plus, the content is already there so it would require only some slight tweaks on the development part. Seems like a pretty efficient way to keep people playing the same content over and over.

Definitely going for multiple T4s. Having options is nice. I had Cardiac and Musculature T4s prior to I20.

For Lore I've got T4 Warworks and Clockworks because they're both useful in different situations. Judgement, I've got at least T3s in all 4 and will eventually max them all just for fun. Destiny, I really don't see myself using anything other than Barrier. Interface, no point in getting anything other than DoT/-RES, IMO.
  21. Fire/Fire blaster. Grab Reactive fire DoT and Pyronic judgement and you'll be the most fiery blaster around!

Besides, there's already so many scrappers running around.
  22. I went with a PPD Power Suit theme with my crab. Since the crab pack looks armor/robotic -ish, it goes well if the rest of your outfit matches.

  23. Agreed with OP. The sound fx for Ion is pretty underwhelming. I was expecting a loud thundering noise or more intimidating zapping/sizzling noise. Oh well.

I would've output that much damage for a minute if the pylon lasted that long.

As I mentioned in the thread, this was done with all my spider pets, lore pets, double leadership, -res debuffs, my high recharge ST gun chain, Reactive DoT, and Barrier. You'd be surprised at how much damage output comes from multiple pets when buffed and focus firing on a debuffed target. Without Lore I can manage this in a bit over a minute. Lore helps a lot especially when Vicky decides she wants to critical.

I realize that Pylons are moreso a fun benchmark and some people don't view them as a way to gauge how you'd do in battle. However, since the long thread in the scrapper forum existed I thought I'd post my experience since Crabs usually get downplayed when it comes to ST damage. In real battle I'm usually spamming my AoE chain so ST damage is not as much of a concern to me.

All Crabbiness aside though, my guess would be that Fire doms would probably be top choice for non-pet ST damage.
