In case you don't feel like reading it, Avatea is taking over GR's position from NCNC following his "potential" redundancy.

I know I've said this a lot over the last few months, and I'm well aware it's been said in this thread but even so.

The dev team are NOT sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for the competition to shove them out of business, they will be grinding the millstone of creativity to ensure that when CO arrives they can counter with new inovitave ideas that will make many people step back and think about what they've said.

We have a game and a community riding on our success, they have their careers on the line, they will not be sitting around doing nothing now that competition is on the horizon.

All I can say is that the fact that the I14 official features list, or lack of one, is revealing about some of the content that will be added to the Issue alongside the MA.

Or at least, that's what I think.

I don't mean middle management, I mean the guys at the top for whom the only interaction from the rest of the company and customers they get is from numbers (Namely the figure in the Profit/Loss column) but still have power over the company.

Don't panic, I'm sure that GR or another redname will be along to answer questions and give what details we need to know tomorrow.

Until then don't panic and try not to stir things up worse than they are, most of you know what managers can be like.

Speculation,

GR will be moved stateside or one of the US Rednames will be passed onto us.

Servers will continue running as normal for the meantime.

At some unspecified date the EU Forums may be cut and the server lists merged.

If the population on the EU servers dwindles then the characters will be offered free transfers and the servers closed.

Otherwise things will continue as normal, IIRC anyway the servers are housed in a data company in Germany and only certain servers were housed in Brighton, best to wait until GR has sobered up tomorrow for news.

However, if we are forced to transfer to the US then they need to start accepting debit cards as I will refuse to pay through PayPal or get a credit card.

Ok, the answer is probably not a great increase in server numbers, and not on villains at that time of night sorry.

Another problem is that unlike most MMOs where the majority of the missions are based in the main areas, in CoX the majority are based in instances, this means thst each player gets there own private versions of the mission.

Now the good news, thanks to the SK system in CoX you can use the search function to find a team at almost any level and be able to contribute, if you Sidekick and recieve a level boost you'll still earn XP, if you level down you'll recieve your share of XP as Inf.

Your best bet to find a team really is to use the search function and ask about teaming.

Of course it could mean that I14 and I15 are going to be even better than our current expectations.

GR, one quick question,

Will I be issuing my Gold Plated Premium "I Told You So" business cards this year to all those who have openly stated that the Dev team will fall in the face of Champions Online and DC Universe Online?

Case in point, I went onto the WoW forums to get some technicial help, I searched and couldn't find it so I made a new thread.

The first twelve or so replies commented that I was a n00b (exact word used in 10 of them, I'd been playing WoW for 8 months at this point) and no technicial help, the one guy who was nice enough to try and help provided me with no information on what to do.

Since then I've only read the inital posts made in the announcement section when they haven't given us patch notes with the patchers. (once)

Similar posts made here get people responding quickly with either a request for more information or a solution, or at least pointed to threads which contain the solution they're working for.

Also the last time I joined a PUG in WoW, I was blasted for not using my fear power for crowd control on enemies which were immune to it.

And don't even get me started on EVE.

The OP mentioned about people dismissing topics, this is probably related to the slew of "Merge da Sevrs!" threads we had for 3 months last year.

The main problem wasn't that we had been here longer and discussed it before, the main problem was that one weekend we had FOUR open threads on the subject and it'd been discussed that much that anyone who cared to look could scroll down a little and find a thread on the subject.

Hell, most days you didn't even have to do that and GR ended up putting a formal ban on the topic being raised.

So it was less a "We've been here longer and discussed this before", and more "We've got an open threads on this subject, we've had 8 in the last month and don't want to repost the arguements we've put in those threads."

Everyone wants these Ramon, but most are currently strech goals to be potentially add at a later date. Others may be possible at the start but we can't be sure yet.

Just know that the devs are trying to work on at least most of your list if it isn't already in.

There is XP, just no inf or drops as far as I remember.

Interesting on the multiple AVs thing. I wonder if they are going to remember to include the SO the AV drops in the "No drops" thing. Otherwise I can see a hell of a lot of level 20 multiple AV missions being made.

IIRC, mobs inside the mission drop inf, xp and invention salvage/recipes as normal, however, there is no bonus at the end of the mission or story arc.

Imps + FS is the mainstay of the build, whilst hasten, transferrence, cinders and FF are required too.

There are plenty of guides around that explain *why* fire/kin is so good.

Might sound overpowered, but nerfing either set means that other combinations with it are nerfed too.

As for fun, farming isn't generally considered fun.
If you are hoping to get a farm build that you really enjoy playing on the same map over, and over, and over again then I would recommend re-evaluating
