Funny thing, I only have one warrent here, so I need one name.

Apologies for the late post, my work schedual is all over the place at the mo, as well as other things.
Anyway, all as I need for the warrent is the name of their leader, and don't worry about evidence, I can handle that. -

Personally, I'm sick and tired of all the "soon" rubbish, and no longer expect ANYthing from NC.

So just what exactly do you think the 3-times-as-large dev team are doing right now?
Jay previously made costume parts and new NPCs at the same time while working on his own, so obviously with an assistant now he's only capable of making a few costume parts for a booster pack.
BAB used to work alone too - but he's got at least one assistant in the animation department now - so I guess NCSoft really wanted to make sure that /e cardtrick emote looked just right?
War Witch - who does zone NPC text and placement - is certainly blackmailing NSCSoft to keep her job, as she's had next to no work in the previous two Issues.
And NCSoft, well aware of the two new superhero MMOs on the way, rehired Sean "Manticore" Fish - the CoH story/lore guru - right after they bought the game, because they thought it'd be cool for him to hang out with his old work team again?
And apparently NCSOft are still looking to hire more for the dev team - just to help out the economy, of course.
So now that the MA is released - quite obviously the last thing left on their "to do" list - they call all kick back with soda or coffee and fully enjoy their renamed studio while NCSoft donates even more cash to them.
Because it's totally unlikely that the devs would actually be working, or have a strategy bulit around the release of possible competitor MMOs, or that NCSoft would even want them to do this.

WOOOO!!!
Go GG, Go GG!
But I have to say, that whilst I agree with GG, if I15 turns out to be another case of, "We didn't have enough time to do all the story advancement we wanted, that's now I16, BUT LOOK AT THE BIG SHINY THING, FORGET THAT, YOU HAVE NEW SHINY, I shall be joining the ranks of those leaving for greener pastures.
Sorry, but that's the price paid for trust these days, whilst I believe great things are on the horizon, I'd like to know how long I have to travel to get to them. -
The spell is genuine, most definately.
Before I begin, I'd like an explanation for why one of my agents found a copy of the spell on Nachtshade. All copies of the spell need to be taken to the MAGI vault. As such Longbow will be conducting various raids on your abodes until we are certain we have them all.
And if we're going after the leader I need a name for this arrest warrant. -
Many apologies for the last few days guys, first of all the MA only published half of the mission as I found out ten minutes ago. This has been corrected, and I didn't get back to you about it last night as I effectively ate my tea and went bed after work so sorry it took me so long to fix it.
Due to the fix I had to pull part three and republish from my local copy meaning the new ID for part 3 is 101575
And make sure you bring a friend along, the Nekomimi really don't want to lose Amanda. -
You're missing something, perhaps you may want to go and have another look around, see if anyone turned up late to the party so to speak.
-
The mission to save Amanda is up, arc ID 86001.
I wish you luck (and I recomend a team for this one) -
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
The text describing the crystal is in European Nekoian and the one describing the statuette is in Egyptian Nekoian. I translated the statuette first and the crystal after!
The crystal is a cure for the transformation, not a method of transformation! The Egyptian Nekoian symbol for cat is the one the European Nekoians used for human!
I translated the photo into Egyptian Nekoian as well, that explains why the message didn't make sense. -
The translation is getting difficult, they appear to be fluxuating between different styles of Nekoian. But from what I can gather, one appears to be a holding cell like location, and the other appears to be a meeting point for the Nekomimi.
-
If you could find your way towards reviewing Collared By the Maestro. I can't recall the Arc ID right now but it is under the author name @Bluedarky.
-
This note doesn't make sense, it reads -
[ QUOTE ]
This is the catgirl who was to be our leader, we shall rejoice and return her to a human so she may lead us.

It also contains cordinates for two locations within city limits.
-
Dr Doom works on a list system a little like follows.
How will it affect me?
How will it affect Latveria?
How will it affect Susan?
How will it affect Richards?
How will it affect everyone else?
Baring the Richards and everyone else question, if it has a negative effect he probably won't go through with it. He's even gone to the lengths of freeing the FF before because he would be required to hurt Susan. -
Marioko is working on the symbols, she'll get back to us later.
As for the statuette, it's missing. I really don't need to tell you who stole it do I? -

I agree with Alpha, the game's becoming City of Heroes & Anti-Heroes with all the co-op zones poping up

I had to comment on this.
Lord Recluse isn't evil. There, I said it. He's just got a more militaristic perspective. Where's the villainy in producing a system of government which is a bit more restrictive than normal, where the strong survive (pretty much the capitalist system anyway)? ...but really it's just a bit more harsh. It's hardly hell on earth, and that's as it should be. It's City of Villains, not City of Psychopathic Murderers
[/ QUOTE ]
Wait right there...
*Runs to get information*
Lord Recluse holds dominion over the Rogue Isles, a position he got by killing his rival.
He regulary makes plans which involve-
Killing Heroes
Killing Statesman
Subliminal Mind Control
Chemical Mind Control
Stealing the powers of Meta-humans
Using time travel to take over the world
He's a villain.
It's not what you do, it's how you do it that defines if you're a hero or villain. -
Unfortunately, due to the speed required we don't have time to make a replica.
The next mission is ready however, arc ID 75489.
Good luck. -
6 months
LOL
ROFL
Seriously, if they don't release an update for 6 months with CO out on the 2nd of June the game will be dead and buried when it comes around.
2 - 3 months to live is a more realistic estimate, at the most a couple of weeks after CO's launch. And we'll start to see details in the next few weeks even if it's just a few hints and riddles. -
[ QUOTE ]
well, whatever, we wastin' time here, let's just go and get that relic before they steal it
[/ QUOTE ]
Good idea, but you only have time to get one, which one? -
Sry, haven't had chance to make a post.
There is one piece of information you may need, neither Neko or Amanda would willingly serve the Maestro, they've both suffered at his hand and would probably die before they willingly served him.
[ QUOTE ]
For the record, Grinning Spade is a self proclaimed Gentleman Adventurer. Longbow just calls him a dangerous lunatic who needs to be arrested soonest.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is he by any chance related to this gentleman.? -
The only witness to the kidnapping was Temperature Sprite, but she saw very little before they knocked her out. She didn't even see if they were forced to go or went by choice.
I may have located the artifacts, the Emeralds description matches one that the Family "acquired" recently, and the statuette matches one currently in the Paragon City Museum of Antiquities vaults.
Marioko's research of the book indicates that it may contain a way to permentally turn people into catgirls. So we really only have time to invesitgate one artifact before we make our move.
So where are we heading? And does anyone have any other potential suspects? I don't like this following one suspect idea. (Remember I plan to use both player and NPC villains as well as my own.)
EDIT: And for the catgirl thing, I don't know, the Maestro has kind of obsessed over them since he found out Neko could transform into one. -
[ QUOTE ]
The entire game lore about 5th and Council is a big mess, mostly due to the way all 5th arcs were changed to ones with council.
It'll probably all either get retconned or explained by time-travel-related inconsistencies.
[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't it already? -
We've developed a problem, the book has been stolen along with Amanda and Black Cat Neko. This provides us with a problem. Temperature Sprite still has the notes of what she translated however, so search these for clues. Madam Victim has the results from the bones and the map as well.
Right, the pages I translated read as follows. I uncovered two Catgirl artifacts and a spell from the pages.
The first artifact is the Cats Eye Emerald. It's a brilliantly cut emerald about the size of a fist. It can apparently be used to transform ordinary women into catgirls providing they have a catgirl in their family tree within 12 generations.
The second is a golden statue of Bast. The Egyptian goddess of cats. It can be used to control any cat or catgirl who views it.
And the spell enables someone to transform young women into catgirls, it takes a lot of magicial energy to cast however and can only be used by a cat or catgirl, not a human.
Hey, Madam Victim here, I managed to examine the map and the bones.
I esitmate the map, based on more permenant geographic landmarks like hills and rivers, allowing for changes over time, places it somewhere in the area of Atlas Park. Actually, the area you searched is within my estimated zone.
The bones are definately catgirl, there's a tailbone and the hip shape suggests female. Carbon dating places the bones at around 10,000 years.
I had someone run to check the cave in and bring rock samples, the rocks in the cave in are around 10,000 years older than the surrounding rocks confirming Marioko's theory that the chrono bombs were used to cause the cave in.
I also have files on Amanda, Black Cat Neko, the Maestro and some of his notes on the Nekomimi. They're located here . -
Excuse me, I know I came into this thread late but I need to do this.
*Grabs bat*
Someone want to help hold him down? -
Hey, Temperature Sprite here,
The orb is a temporal bomb, from the amount of chrono gas inside I'd estimate it advances time for 10 feet by 10,000 years. The bones are most likely that of a Nekomimi who got too close but that's not my area. They probably used them to collapse the tunnels.
The book is in ancient Nekoian, the cat tribes used to use it to mark trees, notice how the individual letters look like claw markings. It will take time to translate as the various symbols have different contexts depending on different things. Not least of which is which hand the symbols were made with. As for the material that covers it, not a clue. It may contain spells as I can detect a small amount of magic in it, but it's main focus won't be spells.
The map is genuine and carries only residual magic as expected by being 10,000 years old. More than that I can't tell you.
Bluedarky: I'll have a team to attempt to dig out the temple, I tried to get someone to track the Catgirls but they were to quick for him to follow.
They also stopped marking things with scent when they adopted written language.
I don't need to show the collar to anyone, they were used by the Maestro of Mayhem a while back to turn people into catgirls. Amanda said we probably didn't get them all, they were made of a combination of magic and science and are near impossible to detect.
Do you have any ideas for suspects at all?
