It's still the Prestige-to-Control ratio that worries me most, and in that department, the database/bookcase still seems to reign supreme. On the other hand, I'm also running out of room for attachments in the control-room... if there is a Craftable Control-attachment that provides more than 50 Control, that might be useful...

Sigh... this is REALLY bugging me. Scrying Paintings, Magic Mirrors, Mystic Advisors, all of them are TOTALLY BLOODY COOL, and would make the control-room look AWESOME - but they're also expensive and inefficient, meaning that you'd have to sacrifice utility for appearance if you want 'em...

Might be a bit late since you're already level 15, but you'd have better luck on Union - the 'unofficial' RP server. Still, there are a few RP'ing types 'round these parts too, so I guess you might still get lucky.

You SURE about this? I'm pretty sure I saw something in the patch-notes recently about this being fixed... I guess the easiest way to find out is to check if a Robo MM's Drones can be slotted with Healing Ench, seeing as they don't have any self-healing moves...

Okay, I've gotten an Advanced Forge - new Control Auxilliary available, the 'Scrying Painting'. Sounds cool, but once again I'd like to know the stats before I waste salvage on making something that's inherently inferior to the default bookcases...

Anybody know the stats for this, or the techie counterpart?

Bleah... at least we can still slot 'em with Healing-ench to increase their HP, right?

Also, they need to update their in-game help-files...

According to the in-game help-file, it is possible to slot yoru henchmen with Defence Buff and Resistance Increase Enhancements, to increase their durability. However, this doesn't seem to be possible... at least not on my Necro MM. Are there other MM sets that allow this, or is it just an error in the help-texts? (Wouldn't be the first time...)

My Oracle claims that the Temple of Pain TF is available, but I'd need 26 players to pull it off... I wonder if it's ACTUALLY available, or just pretending to be?

NOT exactly favorable... I think I'll save the Mystic Advisor for some fictional future where we've got 'plenty' of Prestige. Unfortunately, with current prices, there just isn't room for anything less than the most optimal configuration...

And yeah, I mainly want the cool visuals of the Mystic Advisor - but not if the Prestige-Control ratio is too poor. As it is, the Bookcase provides 50 control for aproximately 100.000 Prestige... as long as the Mystic Advisor isn't too far below that, I'd buy it.

Aye, it would appear taht it's been changed, at least partly... a few days ago, I was doing the Saga of Lanaru with a big team, and after a near-wipe agaisnt Lanaru the Mad, several of us went 'to base', and found ourselves returning right outside the door of the Storm Palace... handy.

On the other hand, a while ago when I 'based' after being crushed by a couple of GM's in The Hive, I found myself returning directly uder their feet again... so I guess it's a double-edged sword.

Before I waste salvge crafting one of these for my arcane-themed SG base, I'd like the stats on it - how much control does it add, how much energy does it drain, and ho wmuch does it cost? Does it measure up to Bookcases favorably on the prestige-control scale?

Does anyone know of any kind of database where you can see the stats for all these craftable objects? Being unable to assemble an object if you discover it sucks isn't too clever...

Sigh... so much for my dream of flying across the skyline with my undead servants in formation behind me...

I wish there were some kind of slash command to regulate how close your Henchmen stick to you.

Warwitch is a REAL '[censored]?!?' moment... I mean, she's not only a hero fighting alongside villains - she's also dead.

Anyway, looks like a cool powerset. I foresee millions of Thug MM's popping up on launch-day, only for 90% of them to go back to their previously established characters within a week or two when the new powerset isn't so interesting anymore...

Does this combination actually work? I like the idea of flying around with my henchies in tow, but I've noticed that when I'm walking around, they often lag well behind - if they follow you too distantly to stay inside the bubble, Group Fly would be useless...

So, will henchmen follow you closely enough to stick inside Group Fly range? And is there any way to regulate how closely they follow you?

I'm surprised you keep mentioning that Team TP... as I recall, during the Saga of Lanaru TF, we came to the conclusion that 1) The end-drain is too high and the range is too low to use it for porting a whole team around the Shadow Shard. 2) Using it to port a whole team right next to a powerful boss (such as Lanaru the Mad) is a good way to ensure a 30% faster team-wipe.

I really wish they'd replace that patently pointless power with something actually useful... as a matter of fact, i think i'll go post about it on the Suggestion-board right now.

Yup - you basically summed up all my long-winded and mostly theoretical calculations with that one sentence.

Well, enjoy it, folks... there's no Lanaru the Mad around on this one to cause massive wipeouts - no GM's or AV's at all. Your biggest risk will be dying from sheer boredom...

I realize that my average is set a bit low - it's based on 'normal play', rather than dedicated Prestige-hunting... but really, with things such as TF's, AV's, GM's, and all the other acronyms playing in, what IS a realistic, long-term average?

But okay, let's say that these people are hunting Prestige with abandon. 2000 Prestige per hour - 16.000 per day - 1.200.000 per day for the whole SG. That's 36.000.000 per month...

My original figure for the biggest base plot with one of each room in the highest magnitude stands at 137.812.500 + 78.325.000 = 216.137.500

So, 216.137.500/36.000.000 = aproximately 6. So if we accept these figures, and continue to ignore rent and the cost of actually furnishing the base, which I don't have the figures for, it would 'only' take half a year for this theoretic Fanatic SG to achieve their goal.
