i played a grav/fire for a while (got to 400 rep and ripped it apart to build my dark/cold), and singy was definitely helpful. I can't count how many times i hibered, singy came by, held one of the two dudes camping me and repelled the heavy that was trying to crawl up inside my crevice.
singy's also good damage and will pretty much make a wreck out of anyone's pets with the repel. -

I've always liked the idea that two phased players should be able to attack each other. Although the concept of a phased player attacking a hibernating player bothers me a bit, seems a bit.. iffy.

the best one i've seen in the last week has been that project 3x dude complaining about me and con beating his 2v2 team (lol lightning hawkz and himself); saying that rad was OP.

i've seen that dush oneaboveall on his dark/rad (fought him on test back at the beginning of i13), and the way he works it is by power boosting both the toggles and the blasts. i know crap about that, but i do know pb healing can be pretty annoying.
from my dark/cold i do know that carrying greens is not a matter of whether or not you have a heal, but rather a matter of whether or not you want to get your *** rooted (life drain) and spend end on a heal. just keep in mind that when packing a tray.
finally, dark/* is really hit or miss. if you get an opponent with poor kb protection, you're set and he's screwed, if you don't, it's a bit of an uphill battle. also, don't neglect the fact that torrent has a -to-hit component to it. when fighting certain builds (specifically regens with focused acc), spamming that as if it were a -to-hit will slow the pace of the fight enough so that i can win through attrition without having to waste half a tray on survival insps.
i really wanted a dark/rad, and i almost started leveling one, then i decided that i wanted to get around to finally leveling downie (ma/regin) so yeah, it's on hold. -

True though, they definitely were better then most the guardian norm and im sure during my absence only got better. I'd be willing to say that back then, Myself, GG, Kiri, MissMalice, Haunt, Cronic and maybe one or two other guys were the best on Guardian, not sure what any of them are up to now. I can't say the same for myself anymore, so many changes I'm unfamiliar with.
I have to agree with you though about Guardian now, I was told about this elec/elec blaster who won a tournament on Guardian recently out of 50 people or so and challenged him to a duel.
I won 11-0 and I haven't been playing in like I said 1.5 years. My build is hardly anything to be impressed about either, someone ripped all my purples out of it and I've got a zone build that I'm sitting on till I figure out a new build.
And what is up with the no "No insp" matches? In the past that was a tell tale of sign of noobness. Maybe things have changed?
now what this dude is describing (a dark/cold wrecking an elec/therm) just points the other way. -
i was doing a "how much money can i make without marketeering and pveing in virtue" experiment.
then i couldn't resist myself and went from 2 mill to 350 mill peddling pvp ios and transferred the money to freedom. -

I love the no inspirations, because there have been a lot of times a newbie dueling pops a bunch of inspirations, i usually pop them too, funny part is i collect large ones for my SGs base. So when they pop them i use 4 large reds and rip them apart.
A real dueler doesn't start until his opponent is ready, whoever set up that match and started beating on you shouldn't represent duelers. There arn't many people like that on justice.
To fix the above problem could we get it where everyone needs to click some "yes" button to start the match? Or you can look at the rules before you join?

Just as long as you know that the soft reset I referenced is just in 1vs1's in the arena. If you try to hit rest in the middle of a zone with more than one person in it you're dead. I don't see a problem with hiber really. It's hard to use it and stay alive in zones unless you follow it up with phase since it gives the opposing faction plenty of time to swarm around you, waiting for you to come out. In a 1vs1 a person hitting hiber may be a soft reset but unless they have greens they should be dead before the no phase timer has worn off.
I might be willing for a change to hiber if they drop the no phase off of it and possibly up the rech on it. -

Guardian used to have around 10-15 or so hardcore pvpers that were actually damn good.
Maybe guardian isn't any good anymore, I haven't been around.

Also, temps don't have an On/Off switch to them. If someone reacts fast enough and phases to continue, you can still buy a few more seconds by dropping out of phase as you make your getaway. Just hope that there aren't other people around that want you dead if that happens.
