Hey guys/gals! I just rolled a new toon this morning after the gruelling patch update, using some of the pieces from the new booster.

When I came back to Kalinda after my 3rd snake mish, I got an error that told me there is something wrong with my character, and to log out and in again. I logged out, but went to work instead of logging back in since I have to be responsible at some point lol.

Is there a problem with the science pieces already? I don't think it's a copyright thing, unless there's a super hero/villain out there somewhere dressed in ulterior and rubber gloves named frost munkee hahahahaha. Anyone have this happen before? O_o

maybe it's the fix for the looped-explosion on the rikti drones. Or the hanging blast animation from the mm assault bots. Would be a good idea to fix those before the rikti inv. weekend. Might save a video card or two, lol.

well there it is, a chance for AE doom-sayers to put their $$$ where their mouth (fingers) is (are).

Damn, that IS sad. I found cov at Giant Tiger for $10 and played for a week before AE hit the scene. I went through the usual noob experiences like seeing random zombie raids on the map, figuring out where the ferry is and reading the map and such. Upon getting into AE, I 'meowed' up to 50 in no time, but I still felt unsatisfied. However, rather than giving up completely, I figured hey, if I can zip up this quick, I can try out all kinds of AT's and see which I like best (EM ftw!) My co-worker who convinced me to buy the game didn't know about AE, where he hadn't been logegd on in quite a while, so I got him to log back on, and off we went doing regular missions. Once I got to the RWZ, and got myself into my first rikti ship raid, I realized that the content is even better, despite the slower (actually NORMAL) levelling. The content is great, haven't tried pvp yet, hopefully it's not a gank-fest like Age of Conan was, but I even do the patron arcs even though the powers aren't the greatest, the missions are just fun as hell. You don't get cool temp powers from AE, you don't get salvage that you need and cannot afford on the bm in AE, but I still love doing AE missions when I'm sick of killing snakes for 10 levels, or when I only have 45min or so to get as much action in as possible before it's time to get back to rl, lol. I've been told by various players in various zones that I'm an AE noob, which is partially true, that I'm spitting in the face of anyone who's ever actually played the game if I have a 50 before my first vet badge (which is funny considering that I was actually playing the game, I was doing the rwz arcs, all of them, for the cool vanguard costume pieces), I've been told that I'm not going to know the first clue how to use my powers, which is ridiculous, given the fact that if you read the description, you figure it out, it's not rocket surgery, and paragon wiki will go into further detail but I love the content and the AE equally. Get your friend to keep playing if you can, it's such an awesome game to someone who's only been playing for 2 months (first vet badge comes to me on the 16th YAY!!!)

leave out stun, stick with damage, the disorient from the other attacks will stack nicely without that weak move
