Its acctually amazing just how quickly a Stalker Player learns to team with other Stalkers.After mid way through the first mission with 7 Stalkers on the team, we started gathering in the mob and almost as if we where mind linked, we would all start mentally watching each other to pick a seprate target and each of us would fire off our Assassin Strikes.
That was prolly the most Zen like experiance iv had in this game, and we dropped mobs in short order.The remaining Baddies left from our starting Alpha was met with a flurry of pain, and after all lay dead on the floor, all the Stalkers would dissapear once more, and all would go silent.
Then the Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth Started again, and not 1 Stalker died during this all Stalker team.
Makes me wish for the good ol days.

Recluse's counterpart was killed. (A mirror would be that Recluse would be a hero. Spider-Man?)
Nemesis' counterpart died as a simple toymaker.
It's a place where history took a left turn where ours took a right, and the rippling cause-and-effect added up to quite a different place, but not 100% opposite in every way. -

Hey yah you're right! I still stick by it, slotted with some Acc it's helped my merc/ MM. I do find that without the Acc slotting it doesn't hit very well though. -
wow good job, guy! did you try a dual build or was this toon done that way from the ground up?
I also agree with breaking the mold, I'm running a bot MM that skipped the battle drones, and it's working out well without them still.

well so far it's fun. For now I'm sticking to the ranged thorn moves since there's 3 available up to level 10, that'll keep me at a safe distance for now. My attack chain right now is frostbite, block of ice the mob it missed if any, strongest mob in the group if frostbite missed no one, then fling thorns, thorny dart them one by one and impale/block of ice any that start to escape from frostbite if I don't spam it again in time, all while running arctic air. With Domination activated, it's pretty chaotic.
(currently running -1/x3/+B @ lvl 10)
I'll probably start taking melee moves more when I get into higher levels and I'm a bit tougher, and I took a look at the procs that go with the thorn moves as suggested and the wheels are turning already with what kind of fighter this guy's going to be. I'll probably take thorntrops for an escape trick, caltrops from /traps has never let me down before, and if I can swing a knockdown proc in there (purple, so maybe, maybe not) that would make them great for escaping. Thanks for the tips peeps! any other ideas, feel free to toss them in. -

Good to hear trip! Now you can play soccer with Malta mech pieces! Believe me it's fun! Just don't do it on a timed mish lol.

well as far as PuGs go, you're bound to come across mixed opinions as to what your mm should be doing in a team. My policy is to ask the team what's needed from me if I can't tell already. If there's no Br00tsmash on the team, I'll take alpha. If no Corr, I'll make a face like a H34lzorr, buffer, whatever. If there's both on the team, I just ask the star holder what's the best role for me to play. As long as there's good team communication, we MM's can do pretty much anything.

First Dom in a long time now, Had a fire/fire a few months back at lvl 36, but deleted for the slot. I have an Ice/torn dom now and played through the first 4 levels this morning. What I love about it, cosmetically, is the crystal thorns I colored white with blue edges for a nice icicle-shard look.
Anyway, prettiness aside, I'm looking for a nice attack chain that I can strive for with this frozen nutjob. I have block of ice, frostbite, and thorny darts. I hate wasting a power slot on a crappy power, and I've heard that there are about 6 powers worth taking in Ice control.
I'm loving this build so far, even at lvl 4 lol. Any thoughts from other ice/thorn doms? OR ice/ doms? Or /thorn doms? I was looking for a guide that's semi-updated but the newest one I can find is i9 I think. Guess no one makes guides anymore? -
There's another reason to farm, Perstige for your SG/VG. Any farming I do is for my VG's perstige, alongside the xp and inf of course. That's something everyone shares.

I agree, any reason for a new shiny badge is a good one. They have exemplaring/sidekicking badges, so why not?
