screw atlas altogether, start on redside, that way you don't see AE spam until Cap D, and even then it's not nearly as bad. And Swell's right, pie is to be had.

Quote:4 DMC Dante's spotted so far over on redside Freedom lolI've been really pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the City of Heroes playerbase this evening. I expected to log in to see dozens of identical-looking gun foo artists in black latex, mirror shades, and trenchcoats made to use the dual pistols set.
There have indeed been quite a few of those, but what I've most noticed have been the cowboys.
That's right. Six-gun totin', quick-drawin', outlaw-pluggin' cowboys. Some of them have been zombified.
I've also seen space captains, pulp-era secret agents, cops, private detectives, silver-age vigilantes, bronze-age assasins, a clown, several gun-wielding robots, the requisite catgirls, Sentai 'Rangers', and a wide array of things that are NOT Neo and Trinity clones.
Nice creativity, Heroes! -
You don't feel like a squishy scrapper? Good job making it work, dude.
-
Quote:I second that one. My Thugs/traps is 24 now, no fitness pool at all. still spams traps with hasten on and no end crash. It feels nice gathering up all those moves in the teens. I'm a ninja-runner too so no travel power either.Thugs/traps here with leadership. Because of the way traps works out I didn't feel the need to get stamina. I can easily use all my toys each spawn without holding back. The only time it would make a difference is supertough fights that keep killing pets so that they need recasting.

WHEW! smells like Boricua already has demon summoning!
-
I enjoy thermal but I wish they stuck one of the debuff powers in an earlier tier.
You're right it's pretty much like bubbles, and yes don't take that crappy serum,, especially when you have Forge on the way. Come to think of it, Serum has a crash after it wears off, wouldn't forge, casted at the right time, take care of that? -
I want a recluse helmet.................and a sky raider rocket pack.

Good thing I got that quick couple of levels in with a speed run last night. W00t 2 enforcers now!

He's walking up in the rafters, he's been laughing at you from there all along.

Quote:It is a separate proc chance. So, it can hold mobs not held by Choking Cloud, or add additional mag to ones already affected by it.
Ok so rather than what I thought was one or the other, it's can sometimes be both? hold those who didn't get held by cloud as well as stack it on those that did? Good stuff, that's what I was hoping for. I figured that if they had one of the animations going on, then that's the hold they were getting. Obviously I haven't stared at the combat window while doing this yet, just came to me at work after last night's adventure. Maybe if I can figure out how to play at work and not get caught....hmm......lol
Thanks guys! Much appreciation! -
Been liking this proc a lot on my Rad/Rad corr's C-cloud. the quesion came to me last night. Does this stack an extra +mag2 on the foe that's already held by choking's hold? Or is it a chance for just a Mag2 hold on it's own? Either way is good I guess, the mob is held with extra mag, or the proc affects those who don't get hit by choking, which means more mobs held. So either way it benefits me, just wondering for curiosity's sake, I started wondering when I tried it out and noticed the different animation between the two holds. (that elec shackle animation). Thanks, you guys are awesome

Quote:Glad to hear they are on it. In the meantime, I learned that it was fairly good for getting my lowbie alts to the mid-teens in 1-2 runs, so now I have much more toons to play, which will not help my altitis
Is the samurai farm still around on test?
I'm pretty sure, it does follow the min, lt, boss XP rules. It's just set up like a farm, groups just a few feet outside each other's aggro range, but close enough to herd if you can handle two groups. -
Quote:I'm with ya, they suck for xp compared to the old ones, but sill a nice quick way to get to 20 and then it's off to Cap for some good ol' content, oh wait I'm already there! lolThe new breed of AE farms are a joke compared to the old ones. They can almost be left in place. I only see good level gain before lvl 20 so I use them to PL my alts to Stamina, but the high-level toons advance about as slowly as ever.
The only good thing about the speed runs is that anyone can do them, even a mere lvl 1 scrapper can start powerleveling himself (which feels WRONG!), making sewers runs obsolete again (but still fun) -
Quote:Ahh I love the stackers. That only works on those that for some reason think it's better to make one stack of all their traps. Please disregard them, they know no better.
Just make the lines touch people.
You'd catch me with a single mine maybe, but never standing on my own Posion traps or multiple mines. They do learn pretty quickly though lol

ugh.......from what I hear this all started with pets zoning with you. If that's the case I'd rather them not zone with me, but I'm just getting used to dismissing/resummoning them. Sometimes one or two of them will run right into mobs, so when I click follow, they'll run back, kiting mobs back at me while the rest of my pets are up on the roof or running in and out of the elevators. Death ensues.....

My network at work blocks photobucket
I'm very familiar with the vill zones, and I don't know what half of the Hero zones even look like lol. I'll check it out later.
